I really enjoyed this food. Its open later, convenient, decently priced with pretty nice size…read moreservings. The worker was super kind and our food came out fast definitely would recommend. I will for sure be coming back!

Sitting right next door to Pho Palace on Bustleton Avenue in the far Northeast in Philadelphia,…read moreYaudim Dim Sum & Noodle is a small modern semi fast food Chinese kitchen that models itself as a quick dim sum (small bowl) house where you order at the cashier from the large laminated menu on the counter the most popular traditional plates, and then sit at a table until the order taker/chef/server brings your food to you on plastic trays. All that would be fine if you don't miss the old ladies with their pushcarts hawking their goodies at your table. I sort of did miss them as they are what I remember most fondly about those enormous meals around a large round table with family and friends that I enjoyed growing up. But, this is certainly not that, and therein lies the difference of having a totally enjoyable experience vs a fast food version without any cultural entertainment value. Without that, the food was just not as tasty and fun. The Xiao Long Bao skin was too thick and chewy, although the pork infused hot soup within was decent. Similarly, the sui mai and shrimp dumplings had better texture outside, but tiny shrimp within. The glutinous rice rolls had a pleasant light soy sauce and right textured wrap, but small shrimp in both size and number. The best we had was the potato croquette (crunchy outside, hot and grated tato within). The room was all blond wood and large traditional Chinese kitchen mural on the wall. Service was efficient. Prices were about right given the recent restaurant inflation. For my three stars I would rather return to the enrapture of the old ladies and their carts.

Six large shrimp rolls, they've cut back on the size of the shrimp and the amount of shrimp,…read morealthough they are not those tiny shrimps you find in many egg rolls, still tasty=$7.50 Eight crab rangoons, like any one else's now, not over stuffed, still tasty, but I think I'll skip them on my next order=$3.95 Eight fried chicken wings and drumettes, very crispy and meaty, hubby loved them=$3.50 Ten large fried sea scallops, barely coated and so tender, a pleasant surprise, for $3.95 are they serious? Where else could you find a bargain like this? Sesame shrimp, so many large shrimp, too much breading for me, great sauce and lots of crisp veggies=$9.25 General Tso's shrimp, nice and spicy, hubby ordered this and the sesame shrimp, he likes all of that breading more than I do, but plentiful on the shrimp and veggies=$9.25 Crispy shrimp, barely coated with panko and black pepper, served on a mix of lettuce and Chinese cabbage, these were smaller shrimp, but I really enjoyed these, it kind of ruined it when we were spitting out the shells that they did not remove, we quickly learned to peel them, but there goes the delicious coating ;+{ =$9.25 Jumbo shrimps and bay scallops, a real winner, no breading, cooked to perfection and swimming in a fabulous garlic sauce with crisp veggies=$9.25 Seafood delight, don't order it folks, it was to have lobster and it did have half of the smallest tail you have ever seen, so over cooked and chewy and slices of fake crab meat to replace the lobster, since crab is not even listed in the description, a fair amount of shrimps and bay scallops all tender, along with crispy vegetables=$11.95 Shrimp lo mein, still very good, the amount of shrimp is plentiful, but the size has gotten smaller, one quart=$7.25 Kung Pao shrimp, one of my favorites and they do it just right, large halves of fresh mushrooms, large pieces of onion, scallions and peppers, love the sauce and plenty of large shrimp and peanuts=$8.75 Shrimp fried rice, I even paid extra for them to add egg to the dish and it was still very minimal and they still can not cook rice, it was so under cooked, I will not order this again.=$6.75 + $1.00 for the missing egg. Szechuan Shrimp, another one of my favorites and they do it justice!=$8.75 Shrimp tempura roll, outstanding, their wasabi kicks ass and they are not chintzy with it or the pickled ginger=Hello $4.00! Yay! Boston Roll, love this stuff, I could eat it daily, especially for what it costs=$4.00! Met Roll, spicy tuna roll with cucumber and a spicy Mayo, topped with shredded " crab meat", NOT! Don't tell me you are going to top it with crab and then top it with mounds of that fake stuff, I would rather pay extra for the real McCoy!=$7.95 The white rice that came with the meals was very gummy, yet the fried rice was again very under cooked, it's pretty sad when I need to teach the Chinese how to cook rice! I must admit that the rice in the sushi was cooked perfectly this time. Delivery is prompt and accurate, the staff is very friendly. Did I over order? Of course I did, I'm like a monkey when it comes to Chinese take out! Total $116.80, minus using a 10% off coupon=$111.43 with tax, free delivery and a hefty cash tip, but now I know what to order and what not to order in the future. These were all quart sized servings, except for the sushi, their prices for sashimi and sushi are unreal and I will be ordering this from them more often! Will we be eating Chinese food, morning noon and night for the next one hundred meals, you betcha! Again 3.5 stars.

I haven't ordered from here in awhile and the food fell off big time.. I definitely don't suggest…read moreordering from here
