I remembered it was nearby, so I told my boyfriend we might as well take advantage of the deal and try somewhere new while we were in the area. When we got there, the place looked renovated. There were a couple tables inside and the ordering counter was immediately on the left when you walked in. The workers at the counter were helpful while we ordered. We both ended up getting the kbbq chicken bowls. My boyfriend got the spicy version and I got the regular with added cabbage because I love the little crunch it gives. The food came out pretty quickly and we decided to eat inside. Honestly, the bowls were good and very filling for the size we ordered. It's a pretty simple meal , rice on the bottom and chicken on top ,but sometimes simple just works. While I was eating it, I kept telling my boyfriend the chicken tasted super familiar and I couldn't figure out why at first. Then it finally hit me, it tastes almost identical to the teriyaki chicken from Panda Express. And honestly, I didn't mind that at all because I actually like that flavor. So if you've had Panda Express teriyaki chicken before, that's probably the closest comparison I could give. One thing that definitely made the bowls even better was adding the soy sauce packets they had on the side. That extra flavor pulled everything together for me. Overall, I enjoyed it. It's not anything super fancy or life-changing, but it was a simple, tasty meal that didn't feel too heavy, which I personally liked. I told my boyfriend if we're ever back in the area, we'd definitely stop by again.

I ordered the box combo combo which was 4 piece tenders with French fries, served with a slice of bread, coleslaw and that came sauce. In stood thing about raising cane is that they allow u to substitute a side for another side. For example, u can get more French fries instead of toast. Or have more cane sauce instead of coke slaw. Etc. The chicken was breaded too and cooked to perfection. Came out smoking hot. The French fries were golden crispy and seasoned well. The cane sauce makes the chicken stand out. It has a nice pepper taste to it. One can also add extra tenders a la Carte and there also happens to be a chicken sandwich combo.

Anyone can taste bad, stale grease, and it was obvious from the first bite. When I called the store, the manager tried to reassure me that the oil had been changed the day before, which simply didn't align with the taste or quality of the food we received. There's no way that was the case. We refused to return for a "free meal" and ultimately requested a refund, which was issued. While I appreciate the refund, this situation was unacceptable. Food quality and safety should never be questionable, especially for a brand known for consistency. We will be very hesitant to return to this location.
