We were a group of four, with three of them craving wings and me tagging along because this spot had non-wing options. I had a combo of Philly Steak and Fried Rice with a side of shrimp. The Philly was served on a nice bun and just the right amount of au jus without making it soggy. The ratio of meat, onions, mushrooms, and peppers was good and the flavor was on spot. The rice had a nice ratio of vegetables although the chicken was a little hard to find, but still enough to make it an enjoyable dish. There was a tad bit more shine to it due to a little too much oil used for the stir fry. The butterfly shrimp were crisp and served with a sealed cup of tartar sauce and were very nice. The serving portions were generous and it was a very filling meal. The other in my party who had various wings enjoyed the flavors and found them decent (although one person mentioned the chicken was not as plump as some other competitors, but still good overall). I had gotten the ayce wings with potato wedges this past Thursday. It took twenty minutes for the servers to bring back my drink. Then it took another thirty minutes for my food order to come out wrong. The wings were not well done and were pink in the middle. There were fries instead of wedges. My go to wing spot in this area. I knew of them from their location in Snellville. I like to get the 10pc wing combo in honey hot. I ask for all flats which is just a small up charge. It usually comes out to $11/$12. The food is often fresh and made correctly! They have booths inside the place that you can sit and eat at. At one point they wouldn't start on your call in order until you came in and paid but I haven't had that problem in a couple months. I received my food and at first glance I said YES!!!!! this is gonna be the place however when I started eating my food i felt a little different. Their version of Fried Rice is not what I would call fried rice. I don't know if they are rushing to get out orders or what but it's barely fried and has no flavor. Something is definitely missing. It was also kind of greasy and lacked onion and egg. The wings were beautiful. Gorgeous. I ordered Lemon Pepper however when I started eating them I noticed they had a sweetness. I never had sweet lemon pepper wings before. Also they were glazed. It didn't have the traditional lemon pepper seasoning that is usually on wings nor were they dry. I couldn't get with that. The wings are always crunchy, hot, and their fried rice is so darn good! Once in a while, I would get the fries and those are good too! To top it off, your order is ready in minutes! The wings here, hands down, beat the wings next door at Buffalo Wild Wings. What I don't like is the limited parking and how crowded traffic is in the area during lunch. Wings "101" ... the designation "101" tends to suggest the basics of learning but this location and a "particularly rude employee" has A LOT to learn... I suggest the female counterperson who gave me such deplorable service this past Friday evening go back for much more remedial learning in the area of service. I stopped coming to this place a couple of years ago, at that time I felt like the food was subpar but I gave them a second chance this year. My first visit in January was fine but this past visit has cemented the fact that this place just needs to close. Their food has always been "acceptable/needs improvement" but after the negligent and careless service I received from this woman, I can say I will never return. I around at approximately 9:20 PM and found the place to moderately busy but not overly so. I placed a simple order (2 sets of wings and rice, the only/main thing they tend to serve) and started to wait. There was one table occupied in this tiny place (though I can't figure out why anyone who chose to eat in this place) and then several other customers streamed in after me. My wait got longer and longer ... orders placed after mine came up and went out to the point of another waiting customer asked "Sir, what did you order to be here so long?" Just the basics, ma'am. I can't guess the problem ... But of course the "problem" was this inefficient counter person who was only interest in closing time as the phone rang off the hook and she took care of incoming customers all the while ignoring my lingering order. As the 10 PM closing hour drew near, she bolted for the door and locked it, to prevent any further "customers" from bothering her. I finally received my order at 10:57 PM and she shoved the bag toward me without making eye contact. Next door, The "Wok and Roll" restaurant serves chicken wings and there is a "Wild Wings" café getting set to open in this center. So tell me why I would ignore the phone?
