This is just a small place in a strip mall that I found by searching Yelp. It is only 15 mins away from Alpharetta and is more than worth the drive. The location was clean, there are only a few tables and bar seats, (no alcohal) there are several TVs playing different things (the guy at the counter turned on the Minecraft movie for my son while we ate!! Super nice. My oldest and I order the Gouda burger... and my youngest ordered the hot dog. All with fries. (Prices seemed a bit high but honestly it was more than worth it!) The food came out pretty fast... and it looked awesome! (See pictures) the Gouda burger has lettuce, tomato, onion, Gouda, bacon, and shoe string potato chips on top of a good sized black angus patty. This was maybe the best burger I have had since I moved to GA! How are people not swarmed all over this establishment eating here! This was amazing! It was "ohhhhhh my Goddie to dam Hottie!!!" The burger was juicy and packed with amazing flavor! The addition of the shoe strings grave it a crunch that I just loved! I didn't even put catchup on it... I ate it as they brought it... nothing added nothing removed. It was phenominal! My son's hit dog was huge.. and loaded with condiments... onion, tomato's, relish on a monster dog. He couldn't finish it. The fries need to be cooked in hotter oil so that they get crispy.. some were kinda crisp some were not and salt the fries! The fries were ok... but the burger more than made up for it! I'm telling you this is burger heaven! If you're looking for the best burger around head on over to the Burger Factory... Disappointing. I found the burgers to be extremely over salted for my taste. If I ever tried it again, which is unlikely, I would insist on no salt. Also be sure to check your order before leaving. The Burger Factory is the BEST burger joint in Alpharetta. The restaurant is located in the Medlock Crossing Shopping Plaza and offers interior and exterior (dog friendly) seating. This is not a chain burger joint, which makes it truly one of a kind. The co-workers are all very friendly and truly make an effort to get to know their regulars. Of the many times I've been here, it's rare that my husband and I are ever lone customers - it's always busy with smiling clientele. On this particular visit I ordered two burgers and two sides, one for myself and one for my husband. His go-to meal is the Classic, while mine is the Mushroom Swiss (add Jalapeño). Today I opted for a lettuce wrap and it was still so flavorful and just as good as if it would have had the Potato Bun. This used to be our favorite burger restaurant. We hadn't been there in a a while, and the burgers have gone downhill. They used to be fresh and juicy the burgers that we had today were obviously frozen and actually a bit hard not quite sure what the filler was inside of it. My wife and I enjoyed our server going here and it's fairly regular on the rotation when the friend who introduced me to TBF is in town. This place is located in the same plaza as the regal movie theater. If you're facing the movie theater, it is on the right side. There are about 6 tables that seat 4 each, and one 6 person table. There is also bar counter seating for about 6 people. When you enter, you walk straight in to the ordering counter. There are menus on the counter in both Spanish and English. Obviously this is a burger place and they have classic options as well as some with a Venezuelan twist. On my first visit, I had the Patacon with no ham, which came out to a little over $16. For just a sandwich, it felt pricey, but to be fair, I ordered one of if not the most expensive sandwiches on the menu. Also, when it came out, I realized that instead of a regular buger shape, it's oblong-shaped and a pretty decent amount of food. The man who took my order was pleasant. I came on a Tuesday, right when they opened, so no one was there. My order took about 8 minutes to make and serve. I didn't know that my sandwich would come with so much sauce, which is the only drawback. It was warm and flavorful when I took my first bite. I would ask for the sauce on the side next time, more specifically the ketchup. Also, there is a self-serve sauce bar next to the beverage station, so you can get whatever amount of whatever sauce you want. Two things: I wish my sandwich had more cabbage, and I wish the hot sauce was more flavorful. When it got to be about 11:20, three different groups came in so the lunch shift started picking up. I came back a second and third time to try their classic burger. From Tuesday through Friday, they have an all day special where you can get their classic burger, a drink, and side of fries for $11.99. Both times, my burger was consistently prepared-- solid flavor and not too salty with all items mentioned on the menu. Every time I have been here, I have interacted with the same two people: a kind man that has taken my order each time, and a polite and friendly lady that has brought my food to me. I am guessing they are the owners. Most important of all, the place seems very clean. The tables, seats, bathrooms, have never been sticky or dirty. I came here on hump day to try it out. I must say it is bare bones small establishment but a very good burger and I overheard a customer raving about the grilled chicken. Now the fries were meh so maybe next time I will go with the onion rings or sweet potato fries. If a family goes to the movie theater close by I would suggest dinner here to by pass the high concession prices. Service was great as the cook brings your food to you. Ambiance is low key casual with midday lunch crowd. They have a yummy cilantro garlic sauce that compliments well with the fries. Gun fact: Some mlb ball parks have garlic fries with this combo! Two 1/3lb Burgers, two fries, two drinks. Only $5 more than the same thing at McDs for their 1/4lb combo. Burgers were excellent. I ordered jalapeno on mine and it was almost like a Chile Toreado on the burger. Jalapeno was sliced longways and grilled. DELICIOUS! The fries were good, pretty average for a burger joint. But the standout is their sauce! Who needs ketchip when they have an incredible garlic/cilantro sauce as well as a hotter sauce. The garlic sauce was awesome with the fries. First time visit to TBF was great! I had passed by this place many times and was always curious, but I had never stopped. I tried one of their specialty burgers and it was fantastic. I got the onion rings as a side. The Rings were great as well and cooked just right. I prefer TBH over Craft Burger by Shane. I thought the prices were more affordable at TBH and better quality. The only con is the size of the place. It isn't a huge place, and could easily get packed. There's also a small bar/counter to sit at. I'd definitely go back. read more

What is happening to our dear city? Digression aside, The Burger Factory recently opened in the same shopping center that houses Regal Medlock Crossing. The menu is fairly diverse with burgers, sandwiches, wings, and ribs. Unlike many restaurants in Metro Atlanta, there's no fried rice or Asian favorites. I ordered the Factory Burger with cajun fries and a drink. At ~$15, that's roughly the price you're going to pay these days for a quality burger at a counter service place. Factory Burger is a classic 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger with LTO. The chef personally delivers your burger to the table. I was delightfully surprised by its incredibly high quality. I tend to douse my burger in sauces, but I didn't feel like this burger needed any. There was a truly incredible amount of flavor in the burger patty. Fries were a slight letdown. They probably could've used a few minutes more in the fryer. I think I'll request extra crispy during my next visit. The Burger Factory is a very welcome addition to Johns Creek. I can't eat too many meals like this anymore, but it's my top pick for a burger in my area. read more
