When we lived in Dayton there was a Wings and Rings in the neighborhood! We were regulars. Sadly, that location closed but I was thrilled to learn one opened here in our new hometown in Kentucky near Frankfort! We love it here. The wings here are solid and there's plenty to satisfy anyone's lunch or dinner tastes! The store is new and even so the service was spot on. There's a superb selection of beers and other cocktails as your heart desires. If you're near Frankfort or Lawrenceburg you should check it out. read more

Few things irritate me more than poor service/being ignored when it is obvious that the restaurant isn't all that busy. I walked in about 6 p.m., hoping to get a bite before heading back to my hotel in Lexington. When I walked up to the empty bar the bartender was right over and asked what I'd like to drink. Since I had a drive ahead of me, I ordered a club soda. She walked away... then started shuffling through menus... then started washing dirty bar glasses. No beverage until another server came over, talked to my bartender, then the other server brought my club soda and a dinner menu. Take care of your guests before you do your side work! They're the reason you're in business. I looked at the menu and quickly decided what I wanted to eat, but my bartender and the other server had disappeared. Another was standing at the point of sale terminal with phone in hand. No concern for the guests apparent. Other servers were taking care of the patrons sitting in booths or at tables, but the bar was completely ignored. After several minutes of this, I put down some cash to cover the cost of the club soda and left. How good the food is (or isn't), I'll never know. There are too many other places that put their guests first, and I'll be seeking them out. read more

Came in to a pretty empty restaurant on a Sunday evening, were told to find a table by the bar area. Waited a while to order drinks and got three out of four we ordered and had to ask again. Didn't get any utensils until we had to ask after apps came. We were told there was no coleslaw even though the shrimp appetizer had coleslaw on the bottom. Had one order that was supposed to be a wings meal and fries didn't come. Asked for water and it never came which isn't great when eating hot wings. Wings and rings were actually decent. read more

My first impression was it smelled mildewed like an unfinished basement... that is literally the best thing I can say about my visit. Oh and the beer was cold...I ordered wings and rings... I figured hey it's in the name. I was there 5 minutes before not my waitress took my drink order. Five minutes after Shelby delivered my beer and took my order ( garlic parm wings and onion rings) that would be the last I saw her for @ 20 minutes. The wings upon arrival were dry and over cooked they were not sauced instead they were served in a bowl of sauce. The sauce had broken. Flavor was ok but really looked hideous. Rings were well within acceptable ring status but the ranch dressing had turned. I commented that it was either bad or blue cheese and was assured it wasn't blue cheese... overall I never got passed the mildew smell... left and stopped at taco bell on my way home. read more

Wing prices are outrageous. and these wings were $25 before tax. I was thinking it must be pretty big wings. No they weren't. they weren't even whole wings. So we are talking $25 for five wings and fries. Never again. Never ever again. read more

Our food was not anything special, our server was very kind and he was working hard. They were VERY short staffed when we were there.

Excited to see a new option come to Frankfort. As an onion ring fan, I was looking forward to trying onion rings at a place that had them right in the name. Arrived just after opening and they were out of onion rings. Major disappointment because I don't feel like I can give a fair review. Ordered traditional wings with Buffalo sauce and the Korean BBQ boneless wings. Both were excellent. Garlic aioli fries are a nice upscale option for a side. Decent beer menu. Overall a great value and good service. I'm still confused how you can be out of onion rings when you open the restaurant for the day. Definitely will return to try onion rings. read more

We had wings and rings and Bismarck so when we moved to Frankfort, we were super excited to have one as well. Went there tonight to watch a ball game.First thoughts was Saturday night and only three tables - that's not a good sign. Sat down and waited for 10 minute. No one came to help us, ask us our drinks or tell us to F off. Got up to leave and all the wait staff were hanging out at a table... You'll be out of business soon. read more

We went to the one in Shelbyville a few years ago and had a really bad experience. Said we would never go back..then they opened this one in Frankfort and I have been hesitant even though the reviews were great. We decided to finally try it and OMG!! So freaking awesome. We got the Sweet Smokin onion rings, boneless wings, smoked wings and the parm garlic aioli fries. It was all hot, fresh and had zero complaints. The staff was nice and super attentive. Food was great, and the sauces were perfect. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Tried this place on Sunday evening with my wife. We were pleasantly surprised by the good friendly service provided by Jessica. She went over many options on the menu. I had a black n blue burger that was fantastic along with some onion rings. My wife had fried chicken sandwich that she thoroughly enjoyed. We look forward to visiting again in the near future. read more

Meh. High prices, small portions. Kitchen still doesn't know what they're doing. For example, my "hot brownie sundae" was served cold. Brownie was dry and tasteless. My wings came out not tossed in sauce, but dry with a paper container of sauce. WTH? Fried cauliflower was about 4 florets of fried cauliflower. For $8, I expect a pile of cauliflower. Service was pleasant. Restaurant is way too bright. You cant see the tvs for the glare of the lights. read more

Food was good. Better than fast food, but not quite up to pub food fare. Service was great, but a little slow. It was pricey for what it was plus they charged us for ranch for the kids wings. It was not better or less expensive than BW's. I was hoping for something better than BW's. I'll try it again after it's been open a while, but for now I'll stick with BW's. read more

This establishment is very rude and no matter who the bar tender is they will blame you for being over the limit and cut you off. Will never go there again and we went there pretty much every week. read more

Dining room and kitchen service is erratic, along with food portions. Food itself is okay.

I don't normally take the time to post a review but the restaurant clearly needs to see this. I walked in to place an order of wings to go. I was there about 40 minutes waiting. I took the bag to my hotel to discover the bottom of the bag was soaked in grease. The wings were cooked but there wasn't much hot sauce. I ordered mild and the only thing I could figure was that butter a lot of butter was added to reduce to mild. There was more butter than sauce. I had to open the bag down the side because the bottom was about to fall out of the bag. There was that much grease/butter. I have to look at the passenger seat in my rental car and hope it didn't get all in the seat. I will not be back and let the lady at the front desk know about m experience. Will not be going back. There was 6 of us who went for lunch today. Nicole was our waitress and she was rude. Did not welcome us when coming in just asked how many and walked to the table. we were her only table at the time of coming in. when the food came out almost everyones orders where either wrong or missing. even after telling her she still didn't bring my fries to the very end of my meal and then those were wrong too. The wings were dry. If this is how they run I don't see them staying in business long. read more
