I ordered before looking at the reviews. My bad. The food was just not good. Over cooked. Processed frozen burger patty. Wings way to done and tasteless. Everyone of us was disappointed and we were starving. FF were bad as well. My husband said the only good thing was the Blue Cheese. They make it themselves. When I called to order the lady was very kind and patient with my many questions. They do gluten free. However, when we went in to get the food. We had to wait for them to finish their conversation before they would help us. The place is like a bar. Lots of TV. Too chaotic for me. But many May like it. There are a couple of good managers here, and the staff (servers and bartenders) are friendly and helpful. The food is above average for a sports bar. I have tried most of the items on the menu, and i have never had to send anything back, or failed to eat. I enjoy the boneless wings. They are very tatsty and usually are pretty good size. I fill up on 5 boneless wings and a side. There is a Keno/ Lottery machine that works 98% of the time, and plenty of TVs for all the games. When it comes to comfort food, this is the place. When staying at the Hampton Inn, this was within walking distance and the closest place for watching the games, getting a beer and some wings. I've stopped in here a few times over the years, mainly to watch football. Besides BWs, this seems to be the only other sports bar in the area carrying the NFL ticket. Sure, there are lots of TVs, but they are mostly small and high up for the viewing space. The overall layout is not optimal for multi game viewing. Then the food is average most days and seems all prepackaged items. What is disappointing is that there are no real drink specials, and things are pricey on the liquor side. Very good service. April was absolutely amazing and very attentive. We were there on a Sunday and they had plenty of TV's to watch football. Plenty of beer options. Plenty of bar seating, which is preferred. Also a place where you could bring your family, as there is plenty of table seating throughout. For food, we just had appetizers, and they were good. Only 4 stars, because they did run out of Mich Ultra and Bud Light on Draft without a back-up available. Lady's first choice, but she chose an alternative option, which worked out ok. Now on to the food review. The blue cheese was Amazing. You can easily taste that it is made in the restaurant. It has nice big fresh chunks of blue cheese and super thick and creamy, unlike some places where it's runny and lacks blue cheese. The onion rings were just that, super crispy outer breading and a nicely cooked onion inside. The onion never falls out and leave you with a onion with every bite. The wings, it would of been nice to see some signature sauces, but I didn't. The actual wings were meaty. Only disappointment is in the sauces. Like I said it would of been nice to see something unique vs the traditional flavoring. The service was Awesome, Becca exceeded our expectations. Anytime a place puts wings in their name you've got to expect great things, right? I am a self proclaimed wing expert. Been eating them for 45 years. I know a great wing. I travel a lot so I've had them all over. So here's the lowdown. Taste is superb. Sauciness is superb. Meaty (as they self proclaim)???? Uhhhhhh.... not so much. Out of my 15 wings I'd say 4 qualified as "meaty." I think thats what irks me the most about wing places. If you're going to charge over a buck a wing, they better be meaty. And I get it. Sometimes they just aren't. So why not accommodate for that by tossing in 2-3 extra? I mean when you see the one in the picture posted and you stop and think that THAT was over a buck.... really??? Where are people getting wings when they call THESE meaty??? The blue cheese is house made and I will admit it was extraordinary. The 4 strands of celery were free so that's appreciated. (But my gosh how much celery do you get from a stalk and THATS the best you give??? Had some onion rings as a half price appetizer (after 8:00). Decent rings but nothing special. Great value at half price. The place appears very clean. The staff is quite good and personable. The wings are good. Better than many places. I had the buffalo sauce which was better than I expected. Hotel Guests take note: I travel for work and spend about 200 nights a year on the road. With that said, eating out and expectations of food and service are a pretty normal part of my daily life. Buffalo Wings and Rings just opened in Lima, and although I have a family member working there, my expectations for a new franchise location were reasonable/lesser as they should be for new locations. This establishment over delivered even when compared to heavy weights in food service in many ways: First, the appetizers were great. I highly recommend the pretzel bites, garlic aioli fries, and onions rings in that order, but all over delivered. Trust me, don't skip out here. The sampler was so good we ended up getting two. Next, the main courses had high reviews from everyone in my party. The menu is extensive leaving options for everyone with many healthy and tasty options, but best reviews came from the wings and fried onion bbq burger. It made deciding what to order tougher, but that was because of the many tasty sounding options not a lack of quality options. The wings were large, lean meat, and the sauce options were new and fresh compared to other wing places. Far outdoes Buffalo Wild Wings in this regard. Recommend the peach habanero and bourbon bbq sauce. The atmosphere was great. If there's a game on you want to see go here. You will understand why when you walk in. If you have the luxury of having a cocktail the beer towers are amazingly priced, and the women loved the pop rock mango cocktail. The service was great and very well trained. Ramsey was our server and she was attentive, accommodating, and fun. To wrap up a great experience, the pricing was right on, potentially even lower than I would be willing to pay and expect for this quality of food, service, and environment. Great place. Service was good, wings were good, decent beer selection. Was staying in town for business and needed dinner just happened to be on NFL draft night. This is a very kid friendly place, once we got there there they gave us fruit and Marciano cherries . When we left they gave us candy the food was good impressive. Well we came in a Friday night a little before 6. Had a 15.min wait to get seated Waited 15 minutes on the waiter to come get our order . Waited long time to get our bill. Food was ok. I had pulled pork sandwich and Catherine had cheeses steak. It just ok. Nothing special. Waiter gave 2 5 dollar coupons for the long wait almost made up the wait We will come back but I don't see where it will last of the food is just ok. The service was good, but you advertise for outdoor seating. The outdoor seating means that it is for people who smoke. I asked to sit outside because I wanted to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Sunshine appears to be rare this summer and I was so thrilled to sit outside. It was horrible that I had to move inside because of "smokers". I felt discriminated against because I wanted to enjoy fresh air.
