**The Curious Case of the Missing Fries**…read more *A one-act dinner drama.* **Setting:** Buffalo Wild Wings, Marion, Indiana. Friday evening. The clock reads 6:30 PM. **Act I - Hope Takes a Seat** The curtain rises. A family is seated. Drinks are ordered and, after a reasonable wait, make their grand entrance. Spirits are high. Menus are closed with confidence. What could go wrong? **Act II - The Plot Thickens** Our waitress appears to be starring in three different productions simultaneously. Between conversations with coworkers, interactions with nearby tables, and whatever invisible subplot was unfolding around her, taking our order seemed less like a conversation and more like speed dating with distractions. About 30 minutes later, the appetizers arrived... mostly. A few cast members were absent, but the show marched on. Then came the waiting. Ranch dressing somehow became the evening's most punctual performer, making multiple appearances long before the main course ever took the stage. Around the 1-hour-and-15-minute mark, our waitress informed us that the manager was personally pulling our food, and it would be arriving shortly. Hope returned. **Act III - The Mayo Mystery** Dinner finally arrived. Unfortunately, my wife's burger featured one very clear villain: mayonnaise. She had specifically requested none. When we mentioned it, we were treated to an unexpected behind-the-scenes documentary about end-of-month meetings, server errors, kitchen issues, and internal restaurant operations. We affectionately dubbed this segment, *"Tea from the Back End."* An interesting plot twist? We were asked whether simply replacing the bottom bun would solve the problem. No... no it would not. The burger disappeared backstage and returned surprisingly quickly, looking suspiciously like the original burger wearing a fresh set of buns. The fries, however, had apparently chosen to leave the production entirely and had to be summoned for an encore. **Final Act - The Great Escape** We were told something would likely be taken off the bill for the inconvenience. Nothing was. Checks arrived. Cards were collected. Then our waitress accepted a starring role at another table while we sat waiting to sign our receipts after nearly two hours in the restaurant. Eventually, the cards and receipt folders were dropped on the table with little more than a drive-by delivery before the credits rolled. **Final Review** The surprising part? The food was actually good. The drinks were good too. This wasn't a kitchen problem as much as it felt like a restaurant trying to stay afloat while stretched too thin, combined with service that never quite felt focused. We weren't difficult guests, our order was simple, and everyone can have an off night--but the experience never recovered, and a sincere apology would have gone a long way. Good food. Long waits. An unexpectedly detailed backstage commentary. I'd happily give the food another chance, but I hope the next performance has a different director.

I asked them to turn it on literally any tv even in the corner but they said no because it's "football night". I've never been to a B Dubs that hasn't turned on the fight if we ask. Worst service of anywhere I've ever been and you can't give negative stars that needs an update. Thank you for absolutely nothing enjoy 0 tip.

Nothing overly extraordinary but for sure a strong local favorite here. I ordered the salmon special, and it was really good. The menu here also had a lot of good options to choose from, so definitely a great place to get a meal while you're in the area. We came in on a Friday night, and I am not sure if it was a particularly busy day, but our service was pretty slow. The woman who I assume is the owner filled in the gaps when our waitress was slow though. Maybe just our waitress. Our food also took awhile to get to us, but when it did finally come out it was pretty good. It's a great spot to come in for dinner if you are visiting the area. The town is small but the restaurants here don't seem to be lacking on the quality of their food! Will definitely come back here.

We came here for drinks twice, and then for dinner one night and they have some great options on the menu. Salads, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, seafood - something for everyone! I got the French Onion Cheeseburger as it sounded like nothing I've ever had before! It wasn't quite as good as I expected, but I still enjoyed my meal overall. The service was also very good and accommodating; I have nothing bad to say about this place overall!

If love thin crust, then you need to make the trip out to Arena B&G at DuPont & Lima Roads. Arena does have a very good thin crust pizza. The crust is saltine cracker thick. The bottom is cooked so that it is flour white and soft...but stiff enough to pick up an individual square. The edges are cooked with a slight golden brown and crisp. The crust doesn't have any accents like butter, garlic or seasoning. Just plain pizza dough. The sauce the is slightly sweet and has a thicker consistency. Arena apllies a decent amount of sauce covers the pizza well and moistens it up a bit. I like the little bit stronger tomato flavor without a dominating spicy taste. There were enough toppings to create that single layer across the pizza. They aren't piled up such that you toppings on top of toppings on top of toppings. Just the right amount. The veggies were crisp and fresh. I would have liked to had more meat and more of an Italian favoring. Still good stuff! As for the cold pizza test...it was still moist enough to bite into the next day...the crispy crusts were still pleasantly crispy. The toppings tend to lose much of their zippy flavor. Though the veggies are still crisp. We ordered a side of cheese bread. The bread is a slice of Texas toast..so it is thick. They grill it so it has some nice buttery grill marks on the bottom. The edges are still soft. The inside breading has a nice buttery-garlic taste. The mozzarella is piled on nicely. Good cheesy taste overall! Overall, Arena Bar & Grill should be on your destination list if you are a thin crust lover. It's a busy place if you plan to dine in. Service is usually pretty friendly and spot on. They also have really good wings!
