Where's the gyro??? This company used to do well however unfortunately lately it's a toss, every time I order from them. Most recently I feel as if I'm gambling maybe it'll be good maybe it'll be bad...won't know until I try

    Medium classic wings. Perfect.

Great customer service from the ASSISTANT MANAGER and cook, clean restaurant, and delicious wings. I grew up in Alaska and always loved these wings. I moved to California 8 years ago and crave these all the time. This is a MUST stop for me when I come home to visit. Perfectly crispy, perfect flavor. The owner is going to be what drives this place into the ground. She's rude and not personable.

    Hot and extra hot wings.

I ordered 30 hot wings to-go and extra celery/carrots with ranch. The customer service was great, but the wings were awful. SO. MUCH. GREASE. The amount of grease was unbearable and we consumed only about half of them before saying "no more." Gave it the old 'college try' so to speak. The sauce and rub was soaked. Ruined really.

Everything was great. I haven't seen Dawn in a while. The service was fast and easy to order. The parking lot was full of people picking up their orders. I have the Italian sub combo with wings and a soda. Plus the Italian salad. I recorded the Detroit Red Wings game. So after work I'm going to have a feast and eat my salad with the walnut dress

Visiting from North Carolina, I had a hankering for some fresh wings. Although there was a B-Dubs in town, l try to stay away from commercial franchises because they are so "commercial", no uniqueness of " town flava" While searching Yelp, I saw a couple of places but what caught my eye was Wings and Things. The name reminded me of a menu item at another place that starts with a "Z" so I was intrigued. I looked at the online menu and decided that was the spot I must go to to fulfill my craving. As soon as I arrived and walked inside, I was made to feel welcome. The manager said hello and chatted with me to better understand what I wanted to eat. I was eve given a sample of the "Medium" sauce as a means to help me with my decision making. I decided on wings with "Medium" and "Teriyaki" sauce, even requested for the wings be cooked "crispy". They came out perfect, not too saucy or too little sauce. I highly recommend this place as it is easy to get to, plenty of room if you choose to eat in and great atmosphere with nostalgic signs hanging up all around. The menu has a great variety of other "THINGS" to satisfy your food cravings. If you are reading this...what are you waiting for? JUST DO IT!!!

    Melted styrofoam
    Shiree W.

I've eaten at wings and things since I was 7. Their wings are always good but I ordered the fries as well the other night and they were melted to the container . Daryl doesn't care about his customers health. That's why he joked about the Corona Virus and that's why he disregards safe work practices (like letting food not be on fire when boxed so as not to melt styrofoam onto fries) ‍ He thinks you can eat styrofoam without consequence so I wonder what else is in the food that he doesn't find too harmful for consumption SEE HIS REPLY ATTACHED I'll most definitely take his suggestion and bring my business anywhere else but here

A $15 Cesar full menu salad, w/ "extra" chicken! How disappointed.

The family that owns and operates this gem is Greek and they are not only amazing cooks, but they care about their community!! I have been there eating several times this winter and obviously homeless people would come to the door and be given water, hot soup, half a sandwich, etc. that just made me love this place more. Now to the food. First of all I had the meatball sub which was not only delicious but super filling. The meat was very well seasoned, and the fresh basil just made the marinara pop even more, add the freshly shaved Parmesan cheese and you've got something special. The homemade bread puts this thing into overdrive! Crispy on the outside, light, delicate but not falling apart and heavy enough to hold together all that deliciousness without being filling like you just ate a large pizza. Now to the ridiculous tomato basil soup. I love the clam chowder but the tomato basil is my favorite. Savory, full of flavor, smooth, creamy and not greasy. This in my opinion is the perfect pairing to the meatball sub. You're welcome! The customer service here is amazing too just like the owners and the food. You will always be greeted by a smiling face, and treated like family. You will not regret stopping here. I've eaten the Meatball sub, The Philly, the lasagna and The Gyro ( lamb and chicken) all have been 10 out of 10. The ambiance is like a neighborhood dinner with a small dining room. You will love it!

I ordered the BLT and had the chicken lemon soup The soup was very lemony and salty but I ate the whole bowl it was pretty good. The BLT had too much lettuce on it and a couple pieces of bacon but it was your standard white bread-mayo- bacon-lettuce-tomato. Prices not bad when the sandwiches come with soup or salad. Nice quaint family run local restaurant. I would try the Alfredo next time assuming they make the sauce in house?

I'm glad that they had beer flights because I was unable to decide what kind I wanted. With some assistance from the bartender I chose 4 beers and every single one of them was wonderful. I would absolutely go back if I'm ever in Anchorage again. It does get a little bit loud and it gets very crowded so be prepared to either wait, or sit at the bar. It is open seating, you check in at the host stand and they'll give you a menu and you just find a place to sit. All in all it was a wonderful time and the food was great. I don't like fish, so for me to say that, you know it was good!

The servers seemed a little new, but the service was good and friendly. They carry Frontier brand sodas which we found to be excellent for their flavor. We got root beer and ripe raspberry soda. I ordered the Chili AK Salmon Bowl which our server confirmed is wild salmon. My wife ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich with fries. Both meals were really good. I especially liked the sauce on the salmon bowl so much so that I asked for a little more only to be charged for the extra sauce. I also noticed they include a service charge on the bill (note that this was not gratuity). They told us it was to help them get seasonal labor and to cover overhead. Maybe this is an Alaska thing, but with menu prices as high as these, why would you need to add a service charge? Pricing and nickel & diming aside, I would recommend this place.

They've got a solid variety of Alaska brews on tap, way more than your average spot, so it's easy to try something new or stick with a favorite. It features a blend of barstool window seats, barstool bar seats, high-top tables, and standard-height tables. We went for a very late lunch, which made the quick food delivery and yet under-attentive service a little perplexing. Having spent last summer in London, the attraction at TCT for us was comparing and contrasting Alaska Halibut Fish & Chips with the British fare. I wanted to like the Tent City offering; I really did not. For the price ($28/ea), we got three modest pieces of fish and the equivalent of two servings of chips. Both the fish and the chips were mushy (undercooked), with a heavy batter finish in contrast with the light and crisp British offering. The accompanying tarter sauce was an odd raspberry-and-blackberry concoction that my family and I called a pickle aftertaste. The presentation, for the price and the atmosphere, was a confusing combination of a metal basket lined with wax paper (like a 1950's drive-through), plastic water and soda glasses (like a college cafeteria), and real silverware. Other reviews have high praise for TCT so, on our next visit to Alaska, it will be good to give them another try. The bones of this establishment are in place for a really special experience, but, today, for me, it was just "ok."
