They offer a few complimentary condiments including banana and hot peppers. We all decided on the cheese steaks, which were great. The ribeye was shaved and then chopped while cooking. Cooper Sharp and Wiz were standard, but provolone was available. You could get onion or broccoli rabe or another topping of your choice. They were out of non-seeded rolls, but that was no problem because we like our cheese steaks either way. The meat and cheese were awesome. The roll was a little dense and overcooked, but overall great place to find in Florida. Owner's mom was awesome...except for her football team choice...lol

Heard a lot about this place and as cheesesteak AND pizza fans we had to try it out. Upon arriving…read moreat around 6pm on a Saturday evening, know that parking will be a bit of a challenge. There is a lot behind the building and then additional street parking which is fine. It's a bit confusing when you first walk in because there's tons of action and you aren't really sure what to do. No one is greeting you and making it clear as to where to go so we had to ask. There's a clear cheesesteak menu above your head and that's great - special mention to the broccoli rabe option! We heard they make their own bread and were pretty for that. We ordered a bar pie with half pepperoni and two cheesesteaks - one wit wiz, onions, and broccoli rabe, and another with cooper American, mushrooms, and onions. We had to ask about drinks because nothing was said about them and they offer fountain drinks inside and you can order beer, etc. from the bar outside. Note: they do have a menu but we felt kind of rushed while standing there. We chose to sit outside which was nice but did not have the straws for our drinks that they said would be at our table. We walked over to another table and asked for them. A few minutes later a server came by with a bucket including forks, knives, straws, napkins, and plates. The bar pie was great however, the lack of pepperoni was disappointing. We counted a handful of pieces. They were fantastic but expected more. Overall the pizza was delicious and cooked really well and planned on taking the other half home. Not too long after I received my cheesesteak but no my husband. Timing is so important and it's pretty lousy for one person to have their food and not the other. He even had to go inside at one point and asked about his to which he said he was given an attitude by one of the girls. My cheesesteak tasted great, especially with some wonderfully seasoned broccoli rabe. Once my husband got his he wasn't as thrilled but it was fine. The huge downer was the bread not being toasted or even warmed up. When you get this great cheesesteak, to have cold bread is such a letdown. No one came back around to ask us about drinks so that was disappointing. Overall, we will try The Violet Stone again knowing how it works and more about the ordering options.

I see in another review a Yelper complains that it's not a tiki bar, but if you understand proper English, they're not claiming to be a tiki bar. The name says Pub & Grill. The bar's OWNER is Tiki Tim. That's his nickname, not a description of the bar. Yes there are some tiki type decorations, and yes, the place is actually a dive bar, But they have an absolutely fantastic kitchen so Tiki Tim's is well worth visiting. I ordered the Loaded Crab Cake Bloody Mary ($26.99). This exceptional Bloody Mary comes with a Bloody Mary Chaser! The chaser had 6 green olives. The Bloody Mary itself had: 4 pcs Celery 2 slices of Bacon 3 Mini tomatoes 4 lg shrimp 1 Crab cake burger It's a meal as well as a drink. Nice kick, too. The menu has several different Bloody Mary options. I also ordered the Blue Crab Fries ($14.51). A huge dollop of blue crab dip on seasoned fries. Enough dip for all the fries. Wing Man Gary (USAF pilot, retired) had the Tiki Burger ($14.51). Gary reports the burger was good but not exceptional. The menu has some fantastic offerings, I'll be back to try more!

We searched restaurants in the area and Tiki Tim's came up in our search. We started driving over; we weren't sure if we had the right directions because it took us into a residential area, but there it was!! There was a sign out front advertising the specials, and the windows were lit up with beer signs. We walked in and sat down at a large table. We were kind of in a hurry, so we walked up to the bar and asked the bartender about servers. She said that she was the only one there and she would be with us in a few minutes. We mentioned that we were kind of rushed, but she said that the kitchen was not backed up at all so once we ordered, it would be fast. The menu had a little bit of everything. My friend and I decided to split a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. ($15.55). It was definitely big enough for two and it was really delicious, piled high with meat, cheese, peppers, and onions. It also came with fries, which were really tasty. My sister ordered the cheesesteak salad. It was basically the cheesesteak fillings on top of spring mix. She also said it was really good.($14.50). The remaining 2 girls at our table had chicken wings with the "sweet heat" flavor. ($11.95). They loved the sauce and raved about how yummy they were. Overall the service was good. The food did come out really fast and we enjoyed all our lunches. We also had a few beers which were nice and cold. They do have a full liquor bar and apparently they are famous for their loaded Bloody Marys. This is a great spot for a quick lunch, a casual dinner watching sports, happy hour, late night drinks, or even breakfast. We noticed a few patrons arriving by golf carts and if I lived close by I'd visit often!

The cheesesteak: wonderful. Less cheesy than our other spot. The roll (they ship them in from Philly) was my favorite part! Fries were great! Service: awesome. The woman ringing us up heard us say we were going to share a large one so she suggested we could each order our half our own way. They have an abundance of topping options. She then came and checked on us later as we ate as well. Ambience: lots to look at here. A ton of sports and Philadelphia-related memorabilia. It's a retro, super casual atmosphere. Bustling. I like that sort of place. Overall, I think we will still have our original favorite more often, mostly because it is within walking distance. But if we are over in that area, we would definitely do Delco's again!

The order of fries we had no problem with. My dissatisfaction came with both cheese steaks. The rolls used were terrible. I couldn't eat my cheese steak sandwich. The roll was of inferior quality. Something you might expect at a Winn Dixie. I noticed the lowest grade bread before I took my first bite. It was not the authentic philly roll I've had on my cheesesteaks for 20 years st Delcos. Would have been great had Delcos advises me they changed to a substandard bland roll of cheap bread. I understand why they didn't have the balls to disclose this. I for one would of told them I'm taking my business elsewhere. How could you do this Delcos? Charge me an extra buck if you had to and provide me what I thought I was purchasing. The amount of 'meat' was still generous. Cheese and toppings you didn't gip me on. These issues don't mean jack with out the authentic rolls. As I said, charge me an extra buck for the authentic rolls. I wouldn't have complained!! I used to always come to you for your authenticity. We just cane home from Arbys. Trying their knew cheesesteak with Cooper chease. Anyone from up in Pennsylvania knows Cooper cheese. Too bad they didn't use amoresso rolls. It was still better than Delcos new version going with a poor man's roll. It doesn't feel right I'm slamming my favorite place for cheesesteaks. The people and service was stiil A1. I never went back again out of fear of getting disappointed once again. I'm not one to let anyone, or a business fk me twice so I'm not going back unless I get an explanation, and they went back to the real cheesesteak rolls. I'm even willing to reevaluate and change this review. Until then, I'm exercising my right to choose another place, just like Delcos used inferior rolls and kept their mouths shut to increase sales. Delcos as far as I'm concerned right now, you did me dirty.
