Had an order of 10 bone in wings delivered (5 afterburner 5 their version of regular hot) the afterburner is a nice, rich, thick sauce and the regular hot is kind of watery with a vinegar taste. The wings are decent size, but quite expensive (even without delivery fee it's like $2/wing) I did get a cup of extra afterburner sauce because it's my favorite and they give you a decent size cup of it for like $2 read more

This was my first time checking out a Wings Over location and I was really impressed by how good the wings are! We ordered the 20 piece classic wings and chose the hot garlic, the mild buffalo, and the Cajun voodoo dry rub flavors. We started off with the dry rub flavor and the chicken was perfectly cooked and piping hot with the dry rub seasoning generously coated around each wing. I have been a Wings Over fan since the early 2000's. I think I have lost faith in the chain. It was probably my last time at Wings. 1. The furniture looks like IKEA grade. Cheap and chintzy. Not to mention uncomfortable. 2. The facility is falling apart. Paint chipping off the wall. No handle in the bathroom, extra holes in the wall not plugged. Check out the layered funk in the paper dispenser. What happened to the cool wall art? This sued to be a cool place to order and eat from. Those days are long gone. 3. The ordering system has changed. I can handle change but I really miss the old hangar styles. 4. The food quality is just not the same. 5. Staff- still not friendly. 6. I would order from here often around 2018-2019 but this was my first time going back after the pandemic. I feel as through their recipe or something changed. Before the wings were drenched in sauces and the sauces were sort of glazed into the wing. Based on the partial covering, you can tell they lightly toss them in a bit of your desired sauce. Also, the breading seems soggy rather than crispy. As with everything else, their prices have increased but I'm not too surprised about that. I visited Wings Over on a Tuesday evening. This place came highly recommended by some friends given my craving for Zaxby's. I'd been craving some tenders and wings for awhile. I ordered the Puddle Jumper, DC-3 and waffle fries (all á la carte) for a whopping $24 . I was not expecting the price, but I was willing to pay it for a solid meal and a reminder of home. The wings were good. They were nice and crisp: cooked to perfection! I had half flavored in teriyaki and the other with sweet chili. Their "boneless wings" (aka chicken tenders), were also good. I ordered them plain with a side of gold bbq sauce. The waffle fries were tough to chew and were could not have been cooked to order. They were very hard and weren't fresh. Perhaps I had a bad batch, but I was extremely disappointed. Overall, the food is good. I'd highly recommend this place. Next time, I would not dare to order both the wings and tenders. It'll more than likely cut the price. However, like I said previously, I was craving Zaxby's and that's an option they offer for half the price. Tonight 10/9/21 at 7pm they had 3 people standing at the register, a guy in back leaned up against the wall on his phone and a few other people just wondering around in the back... This is not about not having employees this is about them just standing around while the customers wait! This is how it has been every time we have ordered from them- online, over the phone, or in person ! They tell you a time and it's always 20-30 Minutes longer once you get there. First of all, I ordered a loaded tender sandwich which was said to be SMOTHERED with melted cheese and crispy bacon on a butter-toasted bun and I asked to add buffalo sauce in it, and I got absolutely none of that. Called the place because this was absolutely vile and upsetting that they would just completely disregard what we ACTUALLY ordered and just rush to slap some gross tenders on a piece of bread dight out of the pack, and microwave some old tots real fast as if people aren't paying money to GET WHAT THEY ORDERED. They said they couldn't do refunds, but we can get a store credit for ONLY the "loaded tenders" not even the whole order. It was just left at that too, so how on earth would they even know that I was promised "store credit" if I were to redeem it? They have lots of flavors and are open really late so, it's a great place to order from when you're having an unexpected wing craving or had a late night at work. My friends and I were looking for a new wings spot since our favorite place closed down. I was reminded of Wings Over Providence, so we tried placing a takeout order last week. It took a super long time for our food to be ready, and the website never updated with our order status - that would have been helpful, as I wouldn't have left my house had I known I'd be standing in the restaurant for 15 minutes. The website said the chicken wrap and Caesar salad could be made with grilled chicken, however there was only the "fried chicken" option available for selection. I wrote in the comments for both "grilled chicken please" and, naturally, both came with fried chicken. My wrap came with the hot honey sauce by default so I figured I'd try it. The [fried] chicken was absolutely DRENCHED (literally, dripping out everywhere) in this sauce, which tasted like regular ass French dressing. It was reallllly not good. Our friend got a chicken sandwich and loaded tots which he liked (hence the two stars). The waffle fries were cold, bland, and chewy; my boyfriend's [fried] chicken salad was drenched in dressing; and the wings were strange, cold, bland, and chewy. The boneless wings are huge all white meat, juicy chicken fingers. They have a wide selection of different sauces. If you like buffalo sauce they have mild to extremely hot. I usually go with the Honey BBQ and it never fails. Prices aren't cheap but for $25 you have way more than enough for two people. The Hangar 2 comes with 1.5 lbs of chicken, a boat load of french fries, two drinks and ranch or blue cheese dressing. Well worth it. read more
