They had cookies and tarts that looked incredible (definitely going back to try those ), but we went for the classic vegan hot dog and it was so satisfying. Super flavorful, generously loaded with sauces, and that perfect crunch in every bite. It had that nostalgic street-food feel while being completely plant-based. After trying them at the fest, we're definitely planning a visit to their restaurant to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend if you're in Rhode Island and looking for creative, delicious plant-based food. There was zero interest or flavor and that she missed Basil & Bunny's crunch wrap. She is right. Basil & Bunny has so many great and delicious options that don't make me feel like our dietary restrictions are an afterthought. We don't have to eat uber bland and entirely green. If you want a fast food burger this is not the place. Your food won't come out in under a minute, but the staff is pleasant and friendly and the decor is fun. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and it isn't unusual to see a well behaved dog sitting under one of the tables outside.

Yesterday I went in for my coffee that I've been drinking for the past 35 years: two shots of espresso with a splash of oat milk over ice. A staff member came out from the back and began yelling at me at the counter. I am a faculty member at Roger Williams and I was there with a student and line was to the door behind me. "that's a latte! you're just being cheap! I know its a Tik Tok Hack!" I'm 56. I've never been on Tik Tok. I wasn't trying to "hack" anything. I just wanted a splash of oatmilk in my $4 2 oz coffee. I told her I didn't know what she was going on about ridiculing in front of everyone in the restaurant. Then, she rolled her eyes and told me "I'll give you a thimble-full. That's it.!" My coffee came out completely black. She didn't even put enough in to change the color. seriously, what is wrong with people? if I was not there with the Student, I would have walked out.

I got an iced pumpkin latte and it was a perfect boost to my morning with a subtle and smooth pumpkin flavor just in time for fall. The Pear Pancake special was perfect for sharing and was sweet and delicate. The service was quick and friendly. I'll be back again this weekend! The decor is bright and fresh, a wonderful spot for a sit down or grab n go.

Our appetizers consisted of Roasted Farm Carrots & Beets, Lamb and Beef Meatballs, and Citrus & Radicchio Salad (party of 4). All were expertly crafted, creative, and delicious. Of special note, the sauce served with the meatballs was "finger-lickin good". For entrees, we ordered White Lamb Ragu, Roasted Lamb Loin, and Nettie & Ramp Pesto Fettucini. Each dish was beautifully presented and generated a lot of excitement at the table. The roasted lamb, which was perfectly cooked medium rare, was succulent. The house-made, melt-in-your mouth pappardelle pasta served with a ragu sauce put me in the zone. For dessert, we enjoyed 2 servings of a Frangipane buckwheat tart with Almond ice cream. This unusual creation was a homerun. A 32-ounce French Press was enjoyed by all. It's not easy to produce such a meal. Co-owner / Chef Keith and his staff deserve kudos for turning out consistent, extraordinary fare that transports you to a fine European café. The quality of the ingredients, all locally sourced, shine in every dish. If you want something special, look no further than Saint Martha.

I started with the Instant Crush, an upgrade from a traditional margarita. She had the orange wine which was bright, not overly sweet and surprisingly refreshing. Service was spot on. Ambiance was lively (small place with as many tables as could comfortably be set). Parking is easy. We'll be back!

The El Caprichoso salad was very good but...it came with yellow rice and not brown and there was no avocado. I didn't open it until I got to my parents house so I did not go back. I would definitely order it again but ensure that I check it before leaving. The beef empanadas were hand made with massa. They were so different than the empanadas that I have had in the past but I absolutely loved them. Before cashing out, they let me know they make desserts. Flan, Tres Leches, etc. I would definitely go back and maybe sit and eat there. There are only a few tables so I assume that they will get more once things start to get busier.
