Best wings in Providence! Never eaten at the actual restaurant but always get delivery. They are fast, cheap and always hot when they arrive. They are the only place I've found that allows you to mix up the sauce flavors and offers extra dressing (ranch or blue cheese) free of charge. Never disappointed! read more

Good wings in a very culturally diverse neighborhood. You might wait 30 mins but its worth it. I got buffalo and honey BBQ bone in. Buffalo is spicy even the mild. Wings are great but 8/10 they will make and give you the wrong order. I wish the menu items weren't named after planes. Extremely confusing when trying to order "B10 or F16" and wings aren't in quantities, it's by the pound (even more confusing). Wings Over used to have the best wings in Providence. There was a time when you could go here and order a 15 wing combo with fries, with the option of having the chicken unbreaded. It would cost about $13. Then they took away the unbreaded option. After a few years, the price gradually increased to around $16. No big deal. Prices increase over time. Now they've completely taken away the option of even ordering a wing combo. You have to order your wings, fries, and drink separately at a price just below $21. I can get the same thing for the same price with a beer down the street at the Ivy Tavern. Every other wing place in the world has some kind of wing/fry combo. I have no clue why Wings Over decided to alienate long term customers, but that's exactly what their ridiculous decision has done. read more

Great menu with dozens of options for sauces. Quick delivery and amount of food was more than expected.

I ordered wings for an event, I choose 2 different types of sauce... everyone raved and loved them! I will be back for more!

Outrageously rude staff. I went one night when the manager was on the premises and a young lady behind the counter insulted me, even after I left a tip in the jar. The wings themselves were way too big and vinegar-y. The fries were better. I left feeling bad in every way. read more

This place is horribly, HORRIBLY managed. We ordered wings mid-week to be ready early on Super Bowl Sunday. We are told to show up at 5 and "they will be ready to pick up". We show up at 5 as told, and are informed that they will now be ready at 5:45. We wait all the way until 6:00 and then ask what is happening with our order. We are then told that our order will be ready in 20-30 minutes. We cancelled our order and many others who were waiting for hours followed suit. Don't waste your time with this mess of wing joint. The only reason I'm rating it a 4 is because every time I order from them my food is usually lukewarm by the time it gets to me. And the cold stuff will usually be warm. I only think it's because I live a couple miles away. The wings are delicious but not as good as from back home (I'm from Buffalo, NY; home of the chicken wing) though! I've never had bad food from here. The fries are always crispy, the sauces are extremely flavorful. The people who take your order are extremely polite and helpful. To show such great customer service is I ordered cheese sauce with my fries and they forgot to bring it with my order but they charged me for it. I called and told them and they told me not to worry. She put me on hold then told me what my new total was and apologized for forgetting it. The waffle fries are a MUST! Take my advice and get any of the flavors, they're all good. My only complaint is the garlic parm fries are slightly salty, but it's perfect when I want something salty! My favorite sauce is the hot garlic but I've tried some others and they have all been good. I'm never disappointed! Good wings, but terrible online service. I ordered tonight at 8:00PM. At around 9:20, I called their phone number to try to figure out where my food was and all I got was a busy signal. Ten minutes later, called again and got the same result. At 9:45, they called me and said that they shut down the phone lines because they got too many calls. Their response to getting lots of phone calls is to just turn off the phone lines! Pretty ridiculous. In the meantime, I ordered other food because I thought the restaurant had closed or something. I was a regular customer here before today. I placed an order for pickup. The first time I have done so. While I was paying for my order I noticed the cook in the back wipe her sweaty face with her bare hand, then picked a few of my waffle fries out of my styrofoam container and ate them. The first time we ordered from them, we were very happy. Everything was Hot & Crispy. The second time we had the order delivered. It took about hour and it wasn't hot or crispy. The FINAL time we placed our order it was on a Friday about 5pm. We couldn't order half & half wings. That's ok. We paid with the credit card. 60 dollars work of food. She said it would be a little longer than usual. So, we can wait 1 1/2. Damn it,, we lost track of time. It is now 7pm. They said it will be another 25 mins. That's it!! I've been ordering from this wings over and had several bad experiences...i honestly don't know what Possessed me to continue to order from here honestly...first i had one of the drivers save my phone number then text me at 4 am trying to flirt with me, of course i complained to management not sure what happened after, i didn't order from there for a while because i was so creeped out. Then the second time a different driver wrote on a whole $5 tip on my receipt over drafted my account, took this to management thought they'd get rid of him because come on let's get real who does that and think they can get away with it. Months later i start ordering from them again guess who delivers my food the same thieving driver that stole his tip (i tip everywhere i go i promise I'm not a cheap pos but that day i was broke and starving) anyways so today 12/02/2019 i make an online order for a large salad Cajun blackened chicken with a grape soda it came out to be about $12 plus a $4 tip so $16 in total. So here comes the SAME tip thieving dude, at this point I'm over what he did that time i just want to eat....i open up my food order is ALL WRONG my chicken was smothered in some weird sweet sauce. So of coarse I call the store they tell me that they were going to send out my correct order. So one of the girls calls me back and ask all the driver said he has too many orders if you want store credit, so I'm here thinking oh they're gonna bring my food late and as a courtesy I am receiving store credit right no I thought wrong the girl explained to me that the driver absolutely did not want to bring me my correct order. So honestly I raise my voice a little because come on this is frustrating I spent $16 to basically stay hungry and just get store credit?? Makes no sense I'm not made out of money. I ordered for the first game of the season (Pats Vs. Stealers) and it was so gross. The wings and fries were undercooked, the fries were virtually still frozen. Called and ordered dinner for myself and my co-workers (hungry nurses) at 912 pm. 1045 pm food had still not arrived. Called and was assured that the food would arrive shortly. Food arrived at 11pm and one of the orders were missing from the bag. Called and spoke with the girl taking the order, explained the situation and requested that the missing part of the order be delivered. I asked how long until we could expect the forgotten part of the order and was told "we have other orders to deliver" as if it was our fault that some of the order was not delivered. I again clarified that it was not our fault the food was forgotten in the first place and If the food could be expedited due to the fact it was now 2 hours since we originally ordered. Was told it was not the cashiers fault because it was the people in the back that forgot. I have never had a more pointless conversation with someone in my life, I felt as though I was arguing with a 5 year old child. What happened to the customer is always right especially when THEY ARE RIGHT. Manager Mario was very pleasant and helpful and delivered food himself a second time. Inedible. I happen to like Buffalo Wings. So much, that sometimes even bad wings are better than no wings. Or so I thought, until I ordered Wings Over Providence wings for a group to watch the game. They were horrible. The are coated with something that gets slimy fast and has a flavor all its own, independent of the chicken or the sauce. The sauce was bad enough, the classic Buffalo sauce is almost impossible to ruin, but they did it. It was a pungent sweetish, tangy, gross flavor. We actually threw out 100 wings, and ordered from Fat Bellys (which involved a long wait, but was worth it). Fat Bellys wings are probably a 6 or 7, out of ten. But like I said, even bad wings are good enough, and Fat Bellys wings were by no means bad. But Wings Over wings were indescribably terrible. read more

So disapointed I ordered wings over providence today from work. Raved about the crispy fried chicken sandwich and sang the praises of your wings, how they arrive sauced but still crispy. I convinced co workers to order and when the food arrived I was met with anger by my said co workers once they got their food. The wings were drenched in a crazy amount of sauce and soggy as can be, fries were an overcooked soggy mess, the boneless wings suffered the same fate. The worst was the fried chicken sandwich that is usually the crispiest piece of heaven. The chicken sandwich was a wet soggy bun, wilted lettuce and a soggy piece of fried chicken. I have to say this is not their norm to serve sub par food. I decided to call and speak with a manager to see why everything was so awful this time. I spoke with manager Sammantha and while she was polite she blamed it on the weather being humid and not a kitchen person being to heavy handed on the sauce. Most concerning was that she was aware of the fact that I am a repeat customer and she did nothing to make me feel like I want to come back. I thought good customer service was to make your customer feel confident in your product so that you frequent their business. I think the mgr should have said I hope you'll give us a chance and try us again, maybe give a credit/ gift certificate for 5.00 off your next order. Instead I got" sorry hope you have a better experience next time ". In light of that, unfortunately I don't think there will be a next time!!!! read more

I tend to like wings from these franchises. However, the portion of wings from this store are sparse and the quality of the chicken could be better. The three times I have ordered from here, I have gotten wings that had broken bones and were dangerous/gross to eat. The sauces are the only thing saving this meal. I work at a business where they ALWAYS deliver, I ordered food for myself and co-workers..the driver came, never called the extension I gave or went to the door where there's security so we could get the food. I called about my order after it not being here for over an hour, they brought it back to Wings of Providence and said they would only bring back the cold food that was sitting there for over an hour. People in this building always order from here, NEVER AGAIN!! Why couldn't the delivery driver get out of the car? When I couldn't answer my cell, why didn't they call the extension provided? The food in Wings over Providence was just ok--nothing special. The place is a dump--dirty with graffiti all over the bathroom. But my biggest problem was the service. I went there with my two kids because there was nobody there (unlike other places on Hope) and we were in a hurry. After we ordered it took over 20 minutes for us to get our food--which was two grilled chicken sandwiches. After 15 minutes I went up to ask about the order and the nice woman at the front asked the cook and he gave her attitude about even asking. He was very unprofessional. I would have complained more but with someone that unprofessional at the grill I could see how he might spit in our food or something like that if he were upset (not that he did it--I just could imagine that it might happen). I just sat and waited thinking there is no way I am ever going back there again. I would stay away from this place. read more

Ordered our food at 6:00 pm and was told it would be 50 minutes, it is now 8:45 pm and the food is still not here. We called for an update and were told they could not contact the driver/had no update as to where he was. This is the second time this has happened... and I have only ordered twice. We called for another update and got a busy signal for 20 minutes straight each time we called. Finally got in touch again and they told us to expect the food at 9:00 pm (3 hours instead of the 50 minutes we were told). We will see... Last time the driver arrived after 2 hours (instead of 45 minutes) with cold food and over the phone asked me to come to his car window to get the food across the street (it was raining). I refused and he gave attitude. I called the manager about the wait/driver issue and was told I would be refunded $15.00 and never was. I thought this place would be great, we were so excited to try it. We were just disappointed, they told us it would take 15 min for our order which was fine, I got suspicious when it literally took less than 5. I said to my husband "how can it take less than 5 min to cook wings." Well the wings were not hot and not crispy, which leads me to believe they were sitting around. We got a 10 piece red alert and 10 piece mustang ranch with garlic parm waffle fries. The ranch was bleh, the red alert not very hot at all and just kind of salty, it tasted like just hot sauce, not buffalo sauce. The waffle fries were great but a little salty. Probably won't be back, I wanted to say something about the wings but wasn't feeling that great after eating some, so wanted to get home. read more
