They have the soda machine where you may refill your cup on your own. This location is open till 2:00 AM on certain nights to potentially feed the hungry students of the neighboring UCONN. After we placed our orders, we were told to sit down, and they would bring them to us. After a very short wait of under 10 minutes the bowls were brought out to us. These bowls were small, there was lettuce, and chopped grilled chicken, the tomatoes and the pickles were few and far in between. As far as fast food goes, this bowl is a decent option if you're not super hungry, otherwise it won't hold you over for long.

I explained that I had just given my name when asked and expected to wait. She spent the next twenty minutes complaining about being too busy and dealing with impatient customers. Too bad, could have been a perfect experience. Over a 70 minute wait for an 8 person order mid-day on a quiet Saturday indicates they have a logistics problem. Hope they improve as the food was great!

My food was prepared to order and all set in 7 minutes. I enjoyed the food outside nearby on a hot sunny evening. The Coney Island hot dog ($4.95 plus tax) was topped with yellow mustard, raw chopped onions, and ground beef on a soft hot dog bun. This dog is similar to the Michigan dog I've enjoyed in the Northern NY region. The Park The Cah hot dog ($4.95 plus tax) was topped with yellow mustard & sweet baked beans on a soft hot dog bun. The Dot's Dirty Taco ($6.50 plus tax) was overloaded with cilantro lime slaw, corn salsa, shredded cheese, crispy chicken pieces, chili lime drizzle on a soft flour tortilla. I ate them one at a time, then reported to her it was too spicy and that the consistency was sludge. I think she dodged a bullet when we broke up a month later. In the intervening quarter century, I became a vegetarian and fell gratefully into the arms of a cuisine that always guaranteed me a raft of options; went off to college and learned to love the uncomplicated boldness of the takeout spot near campus; moved to Arkansas for my first job and gratefully devoured any "ethnic" food I could get when I came back to Connecticut on breaks; became the urbane New Yorker I'd always secretly wanted to be and lived through the city's golden age of fancy Indian that is still blossoming today; got to gorge myself on the real thing when in Delhi last winter for the wedding of a lifelong friend. Three new Indian spots have risen in Storrs in the time it's taken me to transform into my Platonic conception of myself. And each time I try one and then return to Wing Express, I'm convinced they got it right the first time. It's the best malai kofta I've had anywhere. My favorite aloo gobi. The only place I know that sells aloo mataar. It still feels new like it did when I tried it for the first time, still feels like a privilege the way it did when I'd eat it on breaks from being a school teacher rural Arkansas, still feels simple and authentic the way it does when I compare it to the best I've had in New York. After the ridiculous experience I had with these people, I will NEVER be ordering from these people again. I live over an hour away, and I went to a friend's house to hang out. Wings Over Storrs is one of the places that delivers in the area. My friends gave a glowing review of the place, so we happily ordered four flavors of wings. After an hour and a half, our wings arrived, cold, but once heated, were tasty, to be sure. However, the driver did not have change for us and told us that he would be right back with our change. After a half an hour passed with no change, we called the store and told the person who answered the phone that the driver never returned with change. We were told that someone was being dispatched, and then we waited. Another hour and a half later, no dice. No visit from our neighborhood unfriendly wings guy. After calling again, we were initially hung up on. When we called back again and explained what had happened, we were told, "But we're busy!" We complained that our change was never brought back, and here starts the crazy. I'm not talking about a little bit weird. No, I am talking about full on feeling like we were in Bizzaroworld, or in a horror movie like "Revenge of the Delivery Boy." The delivery guy called us repeatedly, speaking with us in an extremely belligerent way and telling us that he went home and is now unable to bring us our change. He told us that he was a manager, and that the store will not be able to refund our money if we show up there for a refund. He called us no less than six times, harassing whoever answered the phone. He claimed that he had come by and "banged on the door for ten minutes." There are two children, a large dog, and four adults in the house. If he had come to the door, we honestly would have heard him. The driver continued to call the house and said that he would not be bringing the change by. After calling the store again, we were told that another driver, assuring us that it was not going to be this awful driver, would be sent out with our change. Following that came three calls from the driver, telling us that he would be coming back with it, and he explained that if the restaurant told us that someone else would be coming, "they lied." He was aggressive, and after calling the restaurant to explain what he had just told us, he is also a liar. The single star that Wings Over Storrs is for Krista, who was able to hold the situation together as best anyone could. She was very good in dealing with this bizarre situation. read more

Ok, before i go on a rant about why you should not go to Wings over storrs let me just say that my freshman year, i was absolutely addicted to them. After a while they got old so i stopped going there as much. My last year of college there was an experience that turned me off. I was waiting in line at store 24 when an employee of wings over storrs rushes through the doors and yells out "who the F*** just showed us their ass through the window." This is an employee that should be working and making food that we pay for running out and yelling. Just on the merits of this service i would say stay away from them. There are other places that serve wings. I do not recommend this business. read more

I cant believe someone wanted to come here, among all the precious uconn students who have their daddy's credit cards, to order wings from a "well known place", disgusting, i get better wings from stop and shop lol!, now i know why that someone is now my ex! Maybe since the Asians run uconn they like so much cause it taste like cat shit, the best thing they had there was the blue cheese which wasnt made by them.
