Loved Wings Over in Ithaca so had to come try this branch in Valley Stream as I was craving it. The service was good as the manager was really nice and friendly too. The food however was a bit disappointing, and definitely lacked in comparison to all the other Wings Over I've had. I used to get lemon pepper all the time but this was the first time I felt like it was a bit below average. Cooked just right on a lobster roll style bun.. The chick taste fresh, not frozen or reheated. (If it was they fooled me lol.) The two sauces I ordered were Golden BBQ and Sweet Chili. Next were the wings. The wings were cooked just right, aka made to order because Javonne will ask you how would you like your wings cooked with a big smile. The sauces I had for my wings were Mango Habanero and Honey BBQ. If you are a person who does not like a lot of kick in your sauces then you should be ok. However, I like some kick in my sauces and this is where I felt Wings Over fell short. But Wings Over can quickly remedied that. Over all I give Wings Over a 3/5 because of the sauces seems watered down...like back in the day when your mom added water to the ketchup or the spaghetti sauce to stretch it out and make it last longer. I really appreciated them taking the extra step to verify the delivery time with me and correcting it to ASAP! I also want to add that I had the pleasure of going there this weekend for a pick up. In doing so I met the owners who are all around super sweet guys. The girl at the counter who assisted us was very knowledgeable and helpful. She informed us of the options we had available (with our 6 piece order of wings) letting us know we could get 2 different flavors in that 6 piece! Sa-weeet!!!! The food was delicious as expected and knowing the owners are local to the neighborhood, just makes me want to give them my support and spread the word about this new business to our neighborhood.
