I have been coming here for years with no complaints, but the way I saw multiple customers treated tonight guarantee I will never go back. While waiting for a table a customer leaving was explaining to the cashier that he "wasn't going to pay for food he never got". Cashier notifies the OWNER who tells the customer "You either pay half price or full price, that's it". Customer is understandably upset and continues to try and explain that he never received the food he's going to pay at least "half price" for. The owner, Mike, then turns his back on the customer and walks into the kitchen leaving the poor cashier to handle the customer. Then, another table is paying out when a patron at their table asks for a manager when he was charged for a pizza he did order, BUT the pizza was given to the other people at the end of a 15+ table, and he never received it. The manager said it was the customers fault for not "claiming the pizza". On Tuesday's it's extremely loud and crowded, and the person taking the order should know where it goes. And, the other people were charged for the pizza too! So they charged twice for the same pizza and the manager blamed the customer and told him there was no reason to be upset. It would be more beneficial to a business to just make another pizza regardless of confusion or other circumstance instead of losing customer's at a large table plus all of those around them that were witness to the disrespect. Word of mouth and personal experience are everything, especially in a small town such as this. read more

One of the better wings establishments in town. I hear the pizza is also really good, but I can't get past the wings. They're large wings, full of flavor. They may not have as many flavors as other places, but the ones I've tried have been good. My boyfriend loves the lemon-pepper. I like just about every flavor I've tried, and if I don't, the ranch takes care of it. By the way, the ranch is fabulous, thinner in consistency for dunking, and full of dill-ey goodness. I don't know if it's pre-packaged or house-made, but I am quite addicted to it. I also highly recommend the fried mushrooms which are ENORMOUS and delicious. read more

My grandpa and I went to have a beer and some wings. We really enjoyed it! They have plenty of TVs if you are trying to watch a sports game. They have plenty of space for families or large parties. Never been much of a wings person, but I certainly appreciate their's, especially the Texas Thai. And love their pickle spears, I burn my mouth every time because I can't wait. The pizza is definitely edible, but not where I'd go if I just had a pizza craving. The atmosphere is fun and has recently been expanded, there are TVs everywhere. If you go on a Tuesday or game day, go early or late, it gets pretty packed. They do have call buttons on every table if you need a waitress, but there can still be a little wait. read more

Well, we used to love this place. The food was great never any issues when we called in or picked up our order (which has always been the same since we have started going there). The only thing I would encounter is the cashier being rude every time I went to pick up my order, but I just brushed it off, since she was a younger girl who was more worried about how short her shorts were than helping me standing there for a minute before she helped me. Then here the other day we placed an order (same order as always) over the phone on a Tuesday night (the only night we ever order) of extra crispy and extra dry rub on the wings. They told us an hour to an hour and a half before they would be ready. I got there about 45 minutes later to find them already done and waiting, which if I would have showed up an hour to an hour and a half that would be gooey and getting cold. So the girl showed me my wings and they were covered in extra butter, and were so gooey!! I told her these were supposed to be cripsy extra dry rub, she looked at me like ok and?? then looked at the guy working and he said send them back and they can remake them, and told me it would be a little bit, I said okay and went to sit in my car, came back in about 10 minutes and the manager told me there was nothing wrong with the wings and they were cooked all the way. I advised I understand they are done, but they are not how we ordered them. He said its Tuesday we can't do that we are too busy. I said I have never in the past years that I have called in and picked up had that problem y'all have always made them crispy. He said I am the owner I think I know what goes on around here. (Being completely rude, not letting me talk, and wanting to argue with me...can we say as a manager that's HORRIBLE customer service.) I was not looking for an argument and he started to really upset me because of this. I said I understand they are done, I am not saying that, I am saying that they are NOT how we ordered them. All he kept saying is how they were done and not being able to satisfy customers. ugh... so I said okay but if it's not possible to be done on Tuesdays & y'all don't do special request on Tuesdays why didn't they tell me that when I placed the dang order verses wasting over an hour of my time and still leaving with no food. He didn't even offer to do it this once (which they have always done it) or anything. Rude just rude, and that was the manager. I left in complete shock at the experience I had and will NOT return and will definitely let everyone I know friends and family of how they treat customers. My husband and I visit this restaurant at least once a week, and it is definitely one of our favorite places. I honestly do not understand the negative reviews because we have yet to have a bad experience here as much as we frequent it. The waitstaff is always efficient and friendly--Austen, Kaitlyn, and Megan are some of the best! Chips and salsa are a must and we have had several wing flavors, various pizzas, as well as burgers and chicken sandwiches---all which are delicious every time. For people who are unfamiliar with the restaurant: you can "call" one of the waitresses in your section by pressing the button on the stand sitting on the table, as well as request your check. It can get super busy certain nights when they have specials, so knowing this can come in handy. There are plenty of TV's for those who are sports fanatics, but there is also a trivia TV, which can be pretty fun if you aren't into sports (like us). Another bonus: not an overabundance of Baylor crap everywhere like if you are eating somewhere in Waco...not to mention you don't have to hear the Baylor kids saying "like" every other word while you are trying to enjoy your meal :) We will continue to enjoy our visits at Wings Pizza N Things, and you should definitely check it out if you are in the area. read more

Since finding out about this gem we have come weekly. Boneless wings are great. Salad is great. Celery is always perfect. Queso & salsa are great. Fried Mushrooms are amazing large fresh mushrooms. The ranch at this place is so good I force myself not to drink it. Service is exceptional. The servers share tables so you get plenty of attention. My favorite waitress is McKenzie. I love this place. Wings bone-in and boneless, shrimp, burgers, pizza, beer and like 100 TVs with every sport package available! Mantopia! Original Buffalo sauce is the best in town. Texas Thai sauce and Teriyaki are an awesome change of pace. We get the teriyaki and take it home, make rice and have it makes some of the best Chinese food in town from a WING PLACE!! lol All the sauces, doughs, batters, fresh cut fries, salsas and even the ranch sauce are fresh made. The wings, bone-in and boneless, are huge, fresh, not frozen and grilled or battered and fried in house to order. The owner is awesome. He is constantly working on new sauces for the wings and new items for the menu. If you catch him while he's working on a new recipe you might get a sneak peek taste! Cannot beat the atmosphere for a football games. There are huge TVs everywhere and they have the Buzztime, so you can do QB1 or trivia. I decided to give this place another chance after 6 months of staying away due to my bad experience. I have to say the food is amazing and that's what drew me back. The service l, however, is slow and nonexistent at times. The servers are friendly, but stretched too thin to provide good service. ZERO STARS! We were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday on Sunday 12/3/2017. We decided to move tables due location, and when we did....... my boyfriend slipped on the greasy AND wet floor.
