From the exterior this joint isn't the most inviting, but we shouldn't judge a book by the cover right?...and sometimes there are gems to be found in places we would normally pass by. I browsed the board and decided to keep it simple, went with the Italian Grinder. Holy goodness this grinder is ginormous...felt like they handed me a small baby. I added a bag of chips and a water....all this for under $8...can't go wrong. I hope the locals don't take these grinders for granted and I'll be sure to sample more off the menu on future trips.

There is a section with Vermont beers that is separate from the other beer section. They also sell wine. The deli had two specials for Halloween, one chicken sandwich and one beef one. I chose the chicken sandwich. It had a lot of vegetables and tasted good. The people doing the deli seemed very happy. That's very different from most delis where it is just a job. That made the experience pleasant. Once we got our sandwiches, we went outside to the picnic tables next door at the ice cream place. I think that place is owned by the same people.
