This is an older restaurant that seems like it's frequented by locals. Not truly a diner which in my mind is a metal building with counter seating and booths. This is more of a café. A table for six is right inside the door. Tables of two and four seats take up the rest of the space and it's decorated in a variety of newspaper articles, signs and other miscellany. They have a small parking lot next to the building. The spots are tight so be prepared to squeeze into and out of your vehicle. There are several steps up into the restaurant from the sidewalk. They offer breakfast all day so we both got what we wanted. I ordered eggs cooked my way and got their home made bread for a small up charge. The bread was a thick slice of tasty white that I enjoyed. They offer egg plates with a variety of items including meats and potatoes. The hamburger my dining companion ordered was a big portion with lots of fresh toppings cooked to the temperature he requested. Our waitress was very nice. She kept an eye on us, was efficient and pleasant. My coffee was good and came with those little single serve creamers. Nice little breakfast and lunch spot. read more

Small homey diner with delicious food! We got seated immediately for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Veggie Omelette - Lots of veggies inside. Super delicious! You could also customize your veggie choice at no extra cost. Comes with toast and house potatoes. The homemade wheat toast was amazing and so were the house fries. But seriously cannot rave enough about the homemade wheat toast! Our waitress was so sweet and checked in on us often. The food came out timely and the portions were decent. great food, great service at an unbelievable price. we stopped in here on our way back to Boston. We had no pre read what we were getting. I didn't see the menu, nada. this was literally the best meal of our entire vacation! (we spent 5-6 times more elsewhere and this still topped it!). Google maps cited it as the closest restaurant with the least diversion from our path. We are soooo happy we went. I would recommend it to anyone for a real hometown experience. This place is small inside, but the food was delicious! We went in on a Sunday morning after game day for Dartmouth Football, so knew there would be a wait, but it wasn't bad. Everyone was so nice, and the food came out quickly after we ordered. My son's each ordered French Toast, hash browns, and sausage links, and said it was amazing. I had the Denver Omelette, raisin toast and hash browns. The portions were great and price was definitely more than affordable. Place is in need of a serious deep cleaning-- it surprises me that they have not been shut down. Food and prep are poor quality-- sometimes you get what you pay for. Ordered a simple egg, toast, and homefry breakfast. Eggs were undercooked, toast was cold and had unmelted butter smeared in it, home fries were just unadorned potatoes that look like they were prepared by microwave and were dry tasting. Paid $10 including a tip. Could have got an equivalent breakfast sandwich in a conmart and it would have tasted better. Staff were friendly but service was slow. If you're looking for a pretty good breakfast with good service and budget friendly prices ( 2 meals and a coffee for $ 13.40 ) then Sheryls is for you. Although their decor is some of the oddest I've ever seen, old pictures all over the restaurant of presumably the owners Grandma and grandpa and other odd family photos not to mention a lot of other tacky decorations. Cheap and fast service. Food was ok - I got corned beef hash that was most likely from a can. My boyfriend's omelette was not cooked all the way through. The diner itself is pretty dusty, which I found to be off putting. Friends have visited this place in the past and raved about it, but I was underwhelmed. While looking through the menu, prices were very very low - something we were pleasantly surprised by. Then came the food. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with a side of the cup of berries and my boyfriend ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits with a side of corned beef hash. My sandwich was really bland - the English muffin was toasted but no butter was used, etc. Then i looked at the cup of berries. It was hot. I later found out they use frozen berries and heat it up so it's like mushy berry soup. My bf's breakfast was also bland but the worst part was his side of corned beef hash. It had giant chunks of fat all throughout. It's the first time I've ever seen him not finish that specific side.
