Sausage, Egg (2) Sandwich on Portuguese Muffin
Alex B.

Whenever I go to the Marsh Brothers I know I'm about to get an amazing meal, especially when the smoker is running and the meaty aroma fills the air. I typically get the Sausage egg and cheese on a Portuguese muffin. The sausage is so smokey and the cheddar has a great taste. They are very quick to serve you your food, allowing me to be in and out in under 10 minutes. In addition to being quick they are exceptionally friendly, calling me by name when the food is ready. 5 Stars!

The food is amazing. I've gotten the Italian the pastrami, the avocado omelette that's just to name a few of the things that I've gotten from their store not to mention the homemade apple fritter. Their store is phenomenal. I can't say enough about the people that work in there they are hands-on and are upfront and personal with their customers. I go in there pretty much every day that I work in the community and I will continue to as long as I work up there. I can't thank them enough for all that they do

Exceptional quality of smoked meats. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the local friendly feel as they support educational sports teams. The decor was amusing seeing the New England sports teams on display. The service was great with suggestions and providing recommendations. It was a perfect pit stop from Bos to VT. Loved the heart and soul that went into every morsel. The adults and littles munched on 2 sandwiches, fries, fried chicken and mozz sticks.

Wow. There should be a 6-star category for amazing hole in the wall neighborhood joints. This sammich place would be top of that list. We smelled the house smoked meats as we walked in, & picked 2 out of the list of yum sounding sammiches: Cubano Pastrami Both were these FANTASTIC, blazing hot off the grill, weighty, simple, smoky meat sammiches on very soft bread. Obviously special. Not fatty but not what I'd call lean either, these meats are the stuff to be proud of. The best Cubano & Pastrami sammiches we've ever had. Menu is on the wall, sammich & soup specials included, & a couple of picnic tables outside. Super warm service, very friendly. They were steadily busy but it's all absolutely worth the cooked to order wait. We'll be talking about these sammiches for years to come for sure. If you are within a couple hours drive from here, & want a memorable lunch, come here. I bet their breakfast sammiches, fries & onion rings are killer too.

Phenomenal sandwiches! Best lunch we've had on our two week trip! Owner and other gentleman were super friendly, including the Coke guy We enjoyed the small shop's picnic tables amidst the sun and fresh air of Fall We enjoyed a Cubano and a Reuben, as well as some hand cut fires It's a must visit if you are looking for something delicious for lunch!!!

The go-to spot in the Upper Valley. So delicious and worth every buck. The deli can seem hidden, but once you enter you'll see that it's always packed with locals looking to grab breakfast/lunch. The smoked meats (done in house) are yummy and their daily specials are my favorite. It is rotated over the course of several days and the menu gets posted on their social media channels. You can call to place an order, but they may be difficult to reach at peak times - ordering in store is often the only option. Their drinks & chips selections are also a perfect pairing to your meal. Everyone at the deli is also super friendly and it is a welcoming atmosphere while you await for your food.

They have gluten free bread! A small family-owned place. Sandwiches are yummy. Seems like they know half of their customer's names.

Ask the Community - Marsh Brothers Deli

Is there a place inside to sit and eat?

No place to sit inside but there are a few picnic tables outside. You get to enjoy the great smells of the meats smoking on the smoker too. :)

In Phnom Penh, Cambodia, it seemed the foods I ate were more pure and clean than the Americanized Vietnamese dishes I grew up with. The Phnom Penh restaurant and to-go shops serve food which tastes similar to Vietnamese to me. I really like the dishes I've tasted so far, including the fried rice. I did not yet try the pho, here, but it looks great. The sandwich shop is better to sit down in and relax in and enjoy your food. Also, their Khmer iced coffee is yum.

The store did not disappoint -- it's a baker's paradise in every sense. Every possible ingredient, tool, pan, piece of equipment, and baking mix you could imagine is here, beautifully displayed and easy to browse. The space is bright, immaculate, and extremely well organized, with helpful staff ready to answer questions or point you toward something new. There's also a demonstration kitchen and a café, which adds even more to the experience. While their website is fantastic (and what we've relied on for years), the in‑person store is absolutely worth the trip. Whether you're an avid baker or looking for the perfect gift for someone who is, this is a destination worth driving for. We're so glad we finally made it -- and we'll be talking about this stop for a long time.

The lattes were pretty standard and the pastries were a bit disappointing. The flavor profile of the focaccia was odd - corn, tomato, and spicy mayo. The staff are professional, friendly, and helpful, except the manager/supervisor of the Prepared Foods section, a woman with a nasty edge. Speaking of prepared foods, fortunately, the muffins are now baked in-house, and are no longer wrapped in cellophane; they look and taste much better than they did when they were baked, off-site, and wrapped in cellophane. The bagels that they bake in the store, from their once frozen state, are like hockey-pucks, and are awful. The locally, bakery baked bagels are better, but, for bagels, my best advice is to head to The Works in Hanover, or The Works, inside DHMC, main campus, in Lebanon. Fortunately, the Lebanon Co-Op carries fresh baguettes that come from King Arthur Flour; they seem to be quite good on the day that they are baked (it's helpful to not have to make a trip to Norwich, VT, for fresh, King Arthur baguettes). In the Prepared Food section, it seems that the Co-Op has gotten rid of their former, rubbery, very commercial grade chicken, in their chicken salad. We have not tasted the Co-Op's other chicken entrees, in the Prepared Food section; one can only hope that the Co-Op got rid of their former, rubbery, commercial grade chicken, in the other prepared, chicken entrees. Some of the other prepared food entrees are very expensive, and of Walmart quality. I don't get it, I'd think that if the Co-Op was going to charge a very premium price for those prepared entrees, they'd, at least, deliver a high quality product, but, they don't. We pick and choose what we shop for at the Lebanon Co-Op. We'd like to support a local business, and OUR Co-Op, but the prices at the Lebanon Co-Op are very high, and the quality of the prepared foods, in general, sucks.

Honestly, I was hoping to have a soup of some type but there was none available on the menu so I opted for the chicken salad Sandwich (didn't seem a very Turkish fare), but it was good...although the Sandwich needed more chicken salad to offset the thick Texas toast; there really was very little on the Sandwich. My husband had their PLT, a sandwich that had more substance to it (there was more bacon on it than there was chicken on my sandwich)...but again, both sandwiches tasted good. To drink we tried a couple of their cocktails and while tasty and unique they were very speedy, $16 is far too much to charge for them...the price definitely prevented me from having another, and when we go back to have dinner...we probably will skip drinks (not worth $32 for two people.) Don't get me wrong, we aren't cheap people, we just want a good value...the drinks aren't that. Our server was great! He was friendly, helpful, and there when we needed him. Couldn't have asked for more from him. We did also have a hot appetizer. I forget the name of it now, it was $9 for 2, deep fried rolls (like egg rolls of a sort but with Philly dough and filled differently), these were very good...I could have eaten several, I wish I remembered what they were, but they are last on the list of hot appetizers so you can find them.
