Very Disappointed. Absolute garbage service. I got home and I came to notice that I was missing 15/30 wings. They wouldn't pickup the phone, so I headed down there myself to get what I ordered. When I got there, the cashier said she couldn't give me the rest because, I didn't bring back the rest of my order, mind you, we're in a pandemic so bringing the food back in is health hazard on its own. She said the people in the back bagged the orders correctly, but by the looks of it, they can't count, since I was missing HALF of my order. My husband had a taste for some spicy Cajun wings (wangs), so we stopped in at this Wingstop since we were in the neighborhood. I can no longer handle the spicy wings due to food allergy. Thus, I opted for the lemon pepper wings. My past experience with this Wingstop wasn't that great. Their service was slow even when I called the order in advance of the actual pickup, and told them what time I would be there. I got there and I still had to wait for about half an hour or so. The order of 75 pieces of wings was not ready. (2 stars) Fast forward to the present. Because I did a check in a few days ago, I needed to prepare a review before embarking on writing other reviews. Okay, I took a few pics of their menu boards. Lo and behold, and according to my husband, behind my back the cashier was getting irritated and pissed off. My husband explained to him that I was considering writing a review to place on yelp. Wow, talking about a change in attitude and being a bit more friendly, I can only speculate that he was thinking the place was going to get a bad review. I don't know if he said anything to the food preparer as to what was going on. We sure got them wings quickly. We did not have to wait long. However, I rather not have them provide me with quick service if they are not performing the same type of service with customers who are waiting there before us. Oh Lemon Pepper Wings...how I crave you some times. I waited to write a review because even though I've been coming for the past 3 years, I've noticed the quality has been improving and there is more consistency with the staff. The wings are no longer overcooked, dry, and meatless. Now they are pretty golden and meaty. The fries are also no longer burnt. Although I order fries well done, they normally are still cooked the same as the other fries people get but it's not a deal breaker. In the past, I used to also be charged varying amounts for the same order. Some times I'd be charged $13 for a 6 piece combo and other times, I'd be charged $11. This almost caused me to stop coming here. No one wants to be overcharged or get attitude when you ask why it's so much more expensive than what's on the board. Now I have seen the same workers and how consistently been charged the same amount. Food at Wingstop is pretty good. Wings aren't bad, fries are awesome and, paired with the blue cheese dip, they're like crack. Service, on the other hand, is consistently terrible. We've tried ordering every which way since the day they opened: in person, via phone, and online from their website. First, add about 20-30 minutes to the estimated wait time. I've been told my order was ready for pickup only to have to sit and wait an additional 20 minutes. Also, you're expected to read the minds of the servers and know when your order is ready on the counter because they will not call your name. My elderly parents sat waiting for an order for over 45 minutes, not knowing that, at some point, their order had been placed on the counter for pickup without being announced. Finally, once we do get our order, we always have to check because, about 75% of the time, the order will be incorrect. Doesn't matter if you do it in person, over the phone, or online. Like I said, I like Wingstop, but this is the reason why I seldom eat here. read more

My husband and I walked in tonight around 8 pm. Itzel (I believe is her name... Young girl with glasses) rudely asked, "are you ready?" We politely said, "not yet" We don't usually frequent Wing Stop, but we are on our way out of town to celebrate our wedding anniversary, so we wanted to grab something quick to go. She seemed annoyed the entire time and was on her cell phone. Everytime we asked a question about the menu, she would interrupt us, give short answers, and roll her eyes. After we placed our order, she told us that it will take 25-30 minutes for the wings. I asked, "sorry, did you say 25-30 mins?" She said, "yes, because the chicken is not cooked." Why a chicken wing restaurant does not have chicken wings available...baffles me. Restaurants get busy-- I get it, but it should have been the first thing that she mentioned to us upon arrival. We requested a refund, which she did not know how to process. Maria (she was very nice) helped her with the transaction. Phones were ringing, but nobody picked up. More customers walk in for pick-ups. None were ready. One guy received his order and he said to me, "it always takes a long time here. There was no trash bin for customers to use so we had to throw our trash (the food) away behind the counter where an employee trash can was. Even if you're like "yeah, but I'm really craving wings rn..." you'd be better of going to the store and fumbling through an attempt at making some for yourself for the first time than go to this place. Literally always garbage. The wings are alright usually...but the staff and the run down nature of everything there is what riuns it. The staff are always on thier phone, not paying attention, or generally don't care at all about the customer or upkeep of the restaurant. As a Warriors fan and a Warriors Facebook fan, a Wingstop offer was recently posted on the Warriors Facebook page. Since there was a Wingstop in our city of Alameda, I thought I'd take advantage of the offer and get to check out the Wing Stop at the Bridgeside Shopping Center. The offer was that upon presenting of the offer, Wingstop would throw in 5 boneless wings to any order for free. After checking out the menu board, I placed my order and showed my Warriors Facebook fan offer. The cashier said their restaurant was not participating in the promotion/offer. I said you have a sign promoting Wingstop as the Official Wings of the Golden State Warriors. He said we are not participating in the offer. I then cancelled my order and left. Wingstop is partnering with the Warriors to be the Official Wings of the Warriors, but if the this store rather not be part of this partnership, please don't put signage on your front door to promote this partnership. read more

We paid for three drinks but the soda machine was out of ice, and also out of all sodas except Diet Dr Pepper and Fanta Zero. Ok, these aren't the worst problems in the entire world or anything, but it's just kinda what you expect from this Wingstop. I've never been here when there wasn't something FUBAR. The wings are delicious, granted. They'd have to be or no one would ever return to this defective restaurant because few things are worth this much aggravation. If I could give zero stars I would. Placed an online order around 3 PM to be picked up at 645, walked in at 645 and was told it would be another 45 minutes. Canceled the order and walked out pretty upset, amazingly this has happened to me once before! Won't give them a chance to do this a third time. My experience isn't as bad as some of the other Yelp reviews for this Wing Stop... maybe that's because i called in my order! BOOYAH! I didn't really have to deal with any bad service here or incredibly long waits... I actually called in an order for 75 wings and they were ready in about 20 minutes when i got here... The reason i'm giving this place 3 stars is because the wings suck. For a restaurant of which the tag line is "Wing Stop: The Wing Experts", these wings were pretty bad. First of all, there is little to no meat on these things. I've seen more meat in a vegetarian salad than i've seen on these wings. Wait, wait... maybe they're all natural and don't inject growth hormones into their chickens? I get it... their wings are all politically correct and non harmful... Aww... how thoughtful... SIKE- STEROID those WINGS UP SON! PUT SOME MEAT ON THEM BONES! Secondly and Thirdly, together, the sauce wasn't very flavorful and it was very sloppy. Not a "Hmm these wings are so good i'm getting sauce all over my face" type of sloppy... but more like a "Dude can i get napkin before i touch this?" type of sloppy... The one chicken that i did really enjoy and would recommend is the Lemon Pepper. This one was pretty awesome and i ate these up with the quickness. The other flavors i had and didn't really enjoy were the Original Mild, Teriyaki, and Hickory BBQ. Wingstop is one of my favorite fried chicken wing places to go to. I typically go to this location since it has a parking lot and at a much safer location (I live closer to other locations). The flavors I typically get are the garlic parmesan and lemon pepper traditional bone in chicken wings. They're my favorite and I get honey mustard to use as dip. I like their French fries as well! They have combo deals that you can get wings, fries and a drink with! Sometimes service can be slow here, but I'm usually satisfied with how my food turns out that I don't really care too much. read more
