Ok, so I am changing this Wingstop review. I received contact from possibly the owner or regional manager informing me that this location has been revamped. I was invited to receive a coupon to come again, but I just decided to go on my own at my convenience. I didn't want to be biased. I love Wingstop wings and find them better tasting that Pluckers (which seem drier than Wingstop). Wingstop just has some of the best tasting wings around. So, I came back to this Wingstop location and I have to say...it is much better than before. It now feels like the Wingstop I have come to love and appreciate! The staff was courteous and friendly. The food was outstanding! Thanks to the management team for revamping this location, great job!! They get one star for the lack of caring, period! I stopped in to pick up a to go order on 9/20 and when I got home I discovered that feathers were still on my wings. Yeap, you read right...FEATHERS. It was very late and my kids were able to eat the wings with no feathers and fries. Being that it was very late I decided to call the next morning and express my concerns. I called this morning because I thought that this could be a health hazard to new business today, and of course, the "mgr" on duty could have gave two sh*ts about what I had to say. I had to tell her to have her cook keep an eye out. At no time did she offer an apology or a refund. I know these chains are individually owned. I Love Wing Stop but this location is lacking customer service. When I am in line to pick up my order and angry people are in line to get refunds that's has to say something. I placed my Order over the phone, they said 18 mins. So I gave them 30 because I knew they would be busy, drove there in the rain waited in line listening to customers complain "weird energy" Finally I am here to pick up. Sure what was your order I repeated thinking they were double checking but I told them twice my name and that order should be ready. They charged me then told me to wait 25 mins. Are you serious, dude I called u on the phone, he looked at me and said I never placed your order NEXT.. Really so I said give me my money back they charged me again then apologized had to refund me twice, before the refund I said listen I understand people make errors trying to not be an ass. And said if you can get my order with in 20 mins and promise me I will be right back, trying to give the opertunity to regain my business. I was ignored and at the end. Customer service is horrible. My first visit was earlier this week cashier was rude and acted put out that I was ordering to go she responded with a loud sigh. I waited 40 min for my wings and not once did any of the staff say a word about the length of time or apologize. I ordered online and come for pick up. These guys standing in the back, and singing. He saw me, but didn't say anything keep singing. I just stand there and wait and wait. He keep ignoring me. Not even say "hi" to customer, after 7 minutes, I said "hello, hello , I come for pick up", he look at me, still don't say anything and give me my food which is there before I come in. I feel like they don't respect customer. Not even say "hi" . They are working with no energy. I don't mind to wait, but plz say something, not just ignore customers like that. I like wing stop a lot. Regarding the review about the wings dripping with oil....I've been to Wing Stops all over and they are ALL like that. As a rule, we immediately take the wings out of the box and place them on paper towels before eating. I love Wing Stop and Troy Aikman (their spokesman) and am a fan of their lemon pepper and parmesan wings. The wings are always too salty, and I've requested NO SALT and found them to be better...other times my request has been disregarded. This particular Wing Stop seems to be run by a group of young, dumb teenage girls. I asked the address so we could find them with our GPS and the order taker on the phone had to go ask someone! This place must have a new manager, because after reading the other reviews, service seems to be the main problem. And I must say that the service here is good. I have eaten at other wing stops many times and other wing restaurants. This place is better than most of them. They also have super cheap beer which is always a plus. $2 domestics and $2.50 imports during the week. I'll definitely be back!! read more

Placed an online order at 5pm that was to be ready by 5:30. Arrived a little after 5:30 only to be told that the online ordering hadn't been working. What did that mean for me? Going in at 11:00-(when they open), you would expect a restaurant to be cleaned and no sticky floors and tables and chairs cleaned. The floor was sticky, the tables were dirty, the air wasn't on, and the televisions weren't on. When you go to a restaurant when they first open you would expect the tables to be cleaned, or the doors were locked until they were cleaned and the floor was mopped. A dirty floor at night attracts all sorts of critters-(ants, roaches). I am not saying this place has bugs, but like I said first thing in the morning you would expect everything to be cleaned and ready for any customer to come in. I have spent YEARS coming to this location. This is my only indulgence as far as cheat foods go. This last visit was my last. All new staff. I get it. Training. I get it. But to not inform me my order is delayed, avoiding eye contact and flat out ignoring me and hearing the confusion in the kitchen and lack of leadership to rectify all the orders that were messed up made me feel that my business is not important to this franchise. I called the manager. He explained to me I would receive a call today from the general manager. Nothing. They couldn't even reverse my credit card statement because I refused to wait 2 hours for an order I usually get in 25. Ownership and management as a whole have failed on all levels. The manager I spoke with last night belittled me because they screwed up several orders at once. People who ordered after received theirs before I received any recognition from the counter once I lost it. Very bad experience. I will figure out how to do it at home. Stay away from Wingstop. They pay employees like crap and it shows in the service and the attention to detail those in charge actually have. Ball dropping business and they dont care about the service they provide. Horrible Horrible customer service. Multiple issues on separate occasions with mixing up orders. Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me. I should have learned my lesson with previous issues with this location but Sunday was the last time I will ever order out of this location. After ordering a large family order, I get home and realize there were items missing. I called up wingstop and they basically said I could return and pick it up or I have 7 days to pick up what items I was missing...what? Let me get this straight...so in order to fix the problem that you created, I have to show up within the next 7 days and plan my dinner around the items I paid for??? How does that make any sense?? This blew my mind. The basic terms of a transaction is to get what you paid for. I didn't receive the items I paid for and I have to go pick it up within 7 days. After speaking to the manager who sounded like he cared back in 2004, I decided to email customer service and get this generic response.... "Thank you for reaching out to us. Here at Wingstop Restaurants, we pride ourselves in providing quality products with a superior guest experience at an exceptional value - everyday. We want you to enjoy your trip to Wingstop every time you visit the store. We're here to listen and appreciate you letting us know about your experience. We are going to share this internally, and send this on to the owner of this location; so everyone is aware of your experience. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to look into your concerns. In the meantime, we hope you give us a second chance. Sincerely" TO RECAP: Wingstop customer service states they will share this issue with the people that didn't fix the problem. Why would I ever give them a second chance? I'm done with Wingstop. There's plenty other wing places in the greater Austin area that actually listens to their customers when there's a problem. I frequent WING STOP in the San Antonio TX area weekly, sometimes twice a week. I was hoping to get the same wonderful service I am used to from the 1604 and Culebra location. I called in my order for 30 Wings, my usual order, 15 lemon pepper and 15 Louisiana Rub, plus another order. I live in Leander however the closest WING STOP is in Cedar Park. My daughter was visiting so I asked her to pick up the called-in order. To my surprise, when I opened the containers, I found only 20 wings. I looked at the receipt and called WING STOP. A young man answered. The establishment sounded extremely busy and after a brief explanation he handed the phone to a Lucas. I looked at my receipt and it had his name on it. I explained my situation and the young man apologized for the "person" that took my order and had made the mistake, but it appeared I was not charged for 30 wings but only the 20 I had received. I asked him his name, and then he replied Lucas. Only after I called him on he being the one I'd spoken to did he agree he had been the one who had taken the order and he couldn't do anything about it. I informed him whether I was charged or not was not the issue. I said I had ordered 30 wings and I only received 20, 15 lemon pepper and 5 Louisiana Rub. I was missing 10 Louisiana Rub wings and I had already been there once and was not wanting to make another trip to Cedar Park. He said there was nothing he could do. He said If I didn't want to make the drive to Cedar Park to go to the Leander location. I asked for a phone number and location. He put me on hold with out warning and went off somewhere. He later came back saying he had spoken to his GM and there was nothing they could do. I told him I wanted to speak to his GM...again he placed me on hold w/o warning. A few minutes later he returned saying the GM was in the restroom. I informed him I would wait. Again, a few minutes later a Devin got on the phone and repeats the same thing. I informed him I would pay for the 10 wings I just didn't want to make another trip. He reiterated that I had not been charged and they couldn't do anything about it. They could train the phone people to repeat the orders to the customers to which Devin states All his employees knew to repeat the orders. I said that was not true because Lucas had failed to repeat the order and I thought everything was fine. I informed him I didn't want free chicken I just wanted Lucas to lose his arrogance when dealing with customers. Devin said he would talk to Lucas however it was in a tone that made me feel Devin was just another peer to Lucas. My solution would've been, "Sir, I apologize for our mistake, I will make you the ten wings however I will need to charge you for them and I will have them delivered free of charge since the mistake was on our part." Not once was anything mentioned to make right their wrong. I sincerely believe I will NEVER order wings from this WING STOP unless I happen to be there in person. The wings were small but good. as for the five Louisiana Rub wings...I don't know if I received them because the wings were thrown altogether hence mixed so no telling what was what or if they were even included. Three stars because the food was good but the service beginning with the poor inexperienced phone cashier and following through to the alleged management representative. I was feeling me some wings. I am not from the area, so I asked my husband to go to Buffalo Wild Wings. Instead, he brought me to the Wing Stop, and let me tell you something: I liked it SO much better. The wings have more meat on them and they come with fries and soda. The order was finally ready at 9:30, over an hour later. They indicated it was a busy night. Fine, but the online order pickup time should be adjusted. I've been to wingstop plenty of times and first time yelping it. Maybe a few years ago I would have given 4 stars, but they seem to be going down hill. Prices going up and flavors are not that great. The fries used to be so good with their seasonings, but now are dry and bland. And seems to be getting more oily. The boneless wings are so dry and hard, so always get bone-in. The vegetables are now coming in colossal size that it is getting hard to eat (must be getting lazy cutting them human mouth size). Their ranch dip is still awesome. I can eat them by the spoonful. With service, always call ahead to order, even if you plan on eating there, otherwise you will be waiting for a good amount of time. They do have plenty of choices when it comes to flavors. read more

I went to store 462 today. Did the online order. I ordered at 11:37. I finally Walked out at 12:15. 38 minutes. The acting manager stated that it's because they were extra crispy. They also overcharged me. I request they fix that and I was told they don't know how. They also said they have a online ordering issue. Basically they don't know how to do their job. I blame this on the franchise. The acting manager was polite as well as the staff. Again I like the food but do not like the experience. I had a previous review for the Cedar Park location. From what I have experienced wing stop is full of unprofessional behavior. I will be speaking with their corporate office. I will say that as a manager you should be drive resolution. Especially since it causes them stressful situations. I was here a few weeks ago and saw a customer have a similar issue. As a person who is forgiving I placed my order. I am regretting it. I was very thankful for him reaching out to me and we decided to try again. I'm glad we did we were in there on October 22 and had great service. The young man at the front was amazing! Elizabeth was working the counter with gloves on. My first red flag is that one should not handle food and cash with same gloves. However, when she was done taking our cash she returned to the restroom she was cleaning. This is worse than I thought. I'm sure the health department would not want to learn of this and she would lose her food safety cert that always her to work in the food industry. We decided to try this location right after not being here for two years because the last time my husband got food poisoning for undercooked wings. I haven't been to this Wingstop in over 5 years. I was so not impressed that I never went back. Tonight I thought, hmmm, let's try them again. I preferred online and chose a pickup time of 7:45 which was 50 minutes from when I placed the order. So, I arrive at 7:35 and when I walk in there are about 10 people waiting for orders to go. The people working were all under 20 for sure. The girls did nothing but flirt with the men that were waiting. They hand out an order and then another right behind. The man left and the woman checked her order before leaving. They had swapped the order. Finally my order comes out and I check it before I leave and of course it wasn't correct. I ordered an extra veggie sticks and an extra blue cheese (which are absurdly expensive for what you get). So I get my extra things and hit the trail. The customer service was horrible. They put the cold veggies and cold blue cheese in with the hot wings so both were warm by the time I got home. I guess after 5 years they really haven't gotten their shit together. I'm from Brownsville Tx they have wings stop over there & that's the only wing place in bville, which I was excited to find it here my husband & I chose wingstop over pluckers because we got excited .We went there & as we ordered service was ok I guess workers looked like they didn't want to be there.Also we just asked if they can put lemon pepper with buffalo mixed together & they said no its against their policy. I don't understand how hard it is to put a seasoning on some wings. As we got our food it was very greasy I tasted more grease than sauce the wings tasted stale just no flavor. I decided to try wing stop in Cedar Park Texas. I tried the 25 pieces for $ 16.99. I was told that it would take 15 minutes for my order to come up.
