My grandson and I went to Wingstop in Southgate. We ordered what was supposed to be Parmesan and Garlic boneless wings. The wings were very brown, and no typed of sauce on it, and we could not taste any garlic or parmesan but it had a lemon tang to it and beyond salty. We just threw them away because they were so weird tasting. The fries were very brown and just were over cooked so as soon as they started to cool off they were mushy and sticking together. Placed a pick up order and had to wait an ADDITIONAL 45 minutes after scheduled pick up time for my food. They didn't even call my name when it was ready even though I had been standing next to the counter the whole time. Cold, soggy fries and wings. Update: Over the past 5-6 months, I have noticed a sharp decline. Wait times are longer than usual. And the price has increased! I waited over 45 min for my order the other day. Then when I asked about the order, they simply said they forgot. Ummm, excuse me? There was another customer in there yelling at them already for messing up his order...three times. The girl behind the counter seemed completely spaced out, not helpful and looked at me like she'd never met me before. I'm the person who had been staring at you for the past 30 min in your lobby. The manger looked like he was 20. Still my favorite wing, French fry and ranch dressing go to spot. I decided to try Wingstop with my family for takeout. For $43.00 you can wrap my food up!!! The way you see it in the pictures is how I pulled it out of the paper bag... that broke open on the bottom because you cannot put sopping wet celery and carrots into a bag unpackaged without it damaging the bag. The good news is the food was decent. The only issue was you threw rotten celery in my bag. The best part was the service at the counter, even your newest employee was sweet and well spoken. CONSUMER BEWARE!!!! BOYCOTT AT ALL COSTS!!! This has got to be the worst wing stop in the state. I've never walked into a more negative eating environment in my life. The young lady working the register says to us right as we walk in "it's going to be a 30-40 minute wait" and smiles at my family. Better yet, there wasn't but 2 other people in the entire restaurant eating. This has also happened the past 2 times I've been to this wingstop and tonight was the last time I even attempt to go back to this wing stop. Came here for a quick lunch, just 10 boneless and a small fry. It took 15 for my food and it's not ever busy...and they forgot my fries. So now I have to wait longer. We stopped here for lunch because we haven't been to one since our move from a large city and unfortunately got a disappointing surprise. Pros: The cashier was friendly and kept trying to upsale us but because it was .65 boneless wings we took advantage and ordered two 10 piece with two drinks. He also kept checking on all the customers when he wasn't busy or was running food out. That was a pleasant surprise and a nice one. The other big pro was how clean the bathroom was. Albeit they didn't refill the toliet paper, but there was a roll on top of the toliet. Good enough for me. Cons: I'm pretty sure the place where they get their chicken has gone downhill. Almost every piece of chicken was all fat and tendon. Tough, and though cooked thoroughly, is definitely not the same as other WingStop locations. Either that or the farm or wherever they get it from only has scraps/bits, and pieces left over; and WingStop decided to cut corners on fresh meat. Most likely cut a deal with the other company to take their scraps off their hands. I know my dog would love the scraps as a treat. Recommended? Nope. There are much better wing places to eat. I would have chosen McDonald's chicken nuggets knowing not one has a scrap tendon tough piece. read more

They hadn't started my order yet. 20 minutes later, they ask if I wanted boneless. I told them no, and they said it would be ready in a few minutes. 20 more minutes later I left having paid full price for boneless wings a total of 40 minutes after they were supposed to be ready. The guys are nice, professional, and you can tell they're trying. Sometimes the place gets a little overwhelmed on a Friday night and the dining area can get a little dirty (they keep bussing for the customers and it seems like a lot of extra unnecessary work) but I'll keep coming back as long as they keep doing the wings right. My husband and I love this location. Our orders are always fresh, correct and the flavors are amazing. He typically gets the hot wings and I always get mild. The heat in both flavors is just right. We've ordered through DoorDash multiple times, we always get the 'party pack' (I'm not sure if that's the name!) but it comes with 14 wings, a large fry and 2 drinks and the price is awesome! We used to go to Buffalo Wild Wings but Wingstop's traditional wings are 2x the size and sauced way more as well as way more affordable. The food is hot and if you use the mobile app it cuts down on wait time as it tells you in advance how long its going to be till your order is ready. It was confirmed this most recent time when I ordered an hour in advance and still had to wait. I ordered a friend a meal just a few minutes later online and his order took over 15 minutes longer than mine to receive. First off, I want to give the biggest kudos to the delivery driver for getting our food here on time. Sadly, that was probably the best part of the meal. I open the wings and they are all shriveled up. They honestly were tough like jerky. In fact, my gums were bleeding a little after eating them.
