    Hair in my wing!

I ordered here a couple weeks ago for the first time, not knowing that it wasn't an actual dine in wingstop. I walk in confused wondering where i pick up my order and see three young people having a conversation. I ask the young man if i pick up my wingstop order here and he politely says yes and asks for my name. I asked if he was able to provide me with one more ranch since i got a total of 15 wings and fries and he said he wasn't able to because of the manager. These people are really stingy with their ranches i guess lol, I drove home excited to eat my food and as i bite out of my wing i feel a long black hair come out of my mouth. Instantly, im disgusted. At first glance I thought it was mine but until i saw the wing pieces attached to the hair. Meaning it had to of been cooked with the wing. Lost my appetite immediately and ended up throwing away my 20$ meal. I won't be coming here again

But the non-breaded is also great. K-Town Heat is great and not too spicy. Honey Garlic is like literally honey plus garlic plus a touch of nice orange zest. I really liked it. Aloha Glaze is fine but not sweet enough. Parmageddon has a bit of a peanut buttery element to it and it gets boring after a while. They have AYCE Mondays which is only valuable if you eat at least 3 batches of 6 wings. But they're so big that I could only eat 12 wings. You also get complimentary carrots, celery, ranch, blue cheese. Wing Wednesdays is $1 wings. That's more my jam. They have Blue Moon on tap which I appreciated.

Very good service and wings were made to order and fresh! Super hot and juicy. My favorite flavor was the parmageddon. Just enough spice and the creaminess from the cheese really balanced it out. It was so good. Buffalo was standard and smoky (but still good). Garlic parm was a dry rub but kinda taste like pizza Pringles for me but four cheese hot pocket to the gf. Wipes were also very high quality and thick which we really appreciated. Curly fries were so crispy. Mozzarella sticks were ok. Will definitely come back for paramgeddon

There was only a group of two eating inside and there were plenty of tables to choose from. We were greeted at the register right away and they were pretty friendly. Customer service was about standard. My wife and I ordered the house box with original flavor, spicy popcorn chicken with ranch, and a side of garlic noodles (since I've heard so much about it on IG reels). The food came out about 10mins after ordering at it was exactly as they say it is. So crispy and juicy. The water matching they have is top tier and came out super cold and crispy. There was enough food to fill us up and take home too. I'd easily come back.

Mama Hieu's started out during COVID and was a small business that was selling plates from the house and due to all of their success, opened up two brick and mortar locations! The spicy garlic butter chicken was soooo good and crispy! It was actually pretty spicy too. I love how they included the pickled veggies! The box came with 7 wings and two scoops of rice and your choice of sauce. We got the Mama Sauce, which was a mayo like sauce. We didn't know what the Andy's Special flavor tasted like, but the workers explained that the flavor is similar to Vietnamese style crab (cua rang). So like oyster sauce, garlic, fish sauce like flavor; sticky. It was hella good!!! No need to dip in the side sauce either. Their fried chicken comes in many unique flavors like salted egg yolk and fish sauce. We weren't really feeling the garlic noodles; come here for the fried chicken box with rice instead! Definitely coming back next time we're in LA!

We were in the Costa Mesa are before we were going to head out back north and my crew wanted to have this deep dish pizza again. What we liked was the crust was so good. It wasn't overly cornmealish like some of these "authentic" Chicago pizza places. I grew up out here in the west, so I'm used to a more flaky light crust. My first Deep Dish Chicago pizza was Zachary's in Berkeley in the Bay Area. This Costa Mesa location is located just south of the 405 at Harbor Blvd. Go to Baker Street and turn left and it's right there. Easy Parking. One thing you gotta know about the deep dish pizzas, they take longer to cook cause they're just so big and need more cooking time, like maybe 35-40 minutes, depending on how busy the kitchen is. We get a classic combo pizza and have some drinks while we wait. It arrives and oh boy does that look good. Dishing it out takes a little practice, but we're good at that now! Everybody loves the flavor and crust. This isn't the cheapest pizza round, but well worth the price and wait. You want cheap go to Straw Hat or something like that.

The decor was street style but simple. The staff was so welcoming and attentive. They answered our questions and regularly checked on my boyfriend and I. We tried the buffalo wings while we waited for the pizza. They were perfectly cooked and sauced. Paired with their own ranch, so delicious! We did the traditional 9" pan pizza with only pepperoni. (You just have to keep in mind, the pizzas take approximately 45 min.) The sauce to cheese to toppings ratio was perfect. The cheese pull was soooooo good! I normally don't like crust, and I ate mine here! Pizza so good, you don't need ranch! I tried an Ube beer. And surprisingly, it was so tasty and refreshing! I wish I could remember the brewery and beer name. This was the Costa Mesa location. They do have another one in Long Beach. Overall a great experience and delicious! We'll definitely be back!
