Yes, cooking the wings do take time. However with a group of 6 coming out of Key West it fitted our needs fine. And I didn't find the wait too long. The Wings were good, the Korean spice is sweet and spicey and tastes great. I recommend spending the extra $1 to cover your fries with cheese sauce or they have a healthier option in the form of cut vegetables. I spent the extra 69 cents and bought the dinner roll as filler, which in the end wasn't needed between the ten wings and fries I had to eat. Wing stop in Florida City is a joke! As well as the employees, managers included. Every time I order there (which is very often) the staff is always rude! I placed an online order at 7:40, where it said my order would be ready in 21-26 minutes. I arrived at 8:00, it wasn't ready, fine. I'm waiting 5 minutes when the MANAGER YELLS OUT "everybody needs to wait outside y'all order isn't ready yet". So I wait. Come back @ 8:15 the employee at the front tells me 15 more minutes and I said well why if I placed my order a long time ago. They told me themselves an order of chicken takes 8 minutes to prepare/cook. So why was my order not being prepared even after I had already ordered and paid 40 min ago. I wait. Come back in @ 8:40 and magically no1 knows what happened to my order. Obviously annoyed by this point I told them to just give me a refund because they had already wasted an hour of my time and my order wasn't even being made yet! They proceeded to give me a refund without saying anything, no apology or anything. None of these people should be working in customer service! We order take out at least every other week. At first the food was way too greasy. Lately it's gotten way better. Unfortunately, sometimes the wings are slacking, there's no meat & I did notice they give a smaller order of fries with the combos. Not good! Went in on a Saturday night to order wings to go for a last minute dinner craving. They were busy with a full restaurant and the phone ringing off the hook with to go orders. We'd read reviews about long wait times and anticipated the wait (which was worth it anyway for us to get our lemon pepper fix.) The staff was very nice, expeditiously pushing through the orders. We had our food in hand within 15 minutes. Tried a fry once we got in the car which were disappointingly cold. We ordered online for our kids. When I arrived, the rude girl at the front said she didn't have my naem, with no explanation. I then went to get the confirmation email from my phone in the car. When I came back, her rude tone was worse, and she then explained that all online orders were down. I've ordered from Wing Stop for years at another location. The service here has been good so far. I gave them a 200 wing order walking in and they made it quickly and correctly. They have a ton of different sauces. You can order them plain and put the sauces on the side so everyone in your group gets what they want. Even that one who wants atomic! read more

Not good. Food took 15 minutes to be ready. Way too long. The staff was sitting waiting for the fryers. Wings came out greasy and saturated the bottom of the dish. Fries sat on the counter for 15 minutes waiting for wings. Fries got cold and soggy. Fry basket was to big for a single order. Side sauce was watery. No garbage cans in the restaurant. The whole product was a mess. It appeared the manager was at the back table doing paperwork. He was not interacting with the customers and staff. On a positive side, they had limes with the soda, and wait staff was good at the till and friendly. When the new cashier was struggling through an order, another employee helped her respectfully and took my order. Summary: Not sure how what is going on here. Today I decided to try Wing Stop for lunch. I used the on-line ordering and it said my order would be ready at 12:01. I was pulling in at 11:58 when my phone rang and it was Wingstop wanting to know if I was picking up..... uh, I'm just parking..... I ordered both the boneless and the bone-in wing combo with fries and a drink. The boneless were sized from the size of a nickel to the size of a silver dollar. I ordered the mango habanaro sauce and it was ok. I ordered the bone-in with Louisiana rub and they were better, but quite a bit of oil under them. The fries I ordered with Cajun seasoning and they were cold and limp even though I ordered them extra crispy. I opened the bag in the car and sampled them and didn't wait until I got back to work to to do it, so they were definitely served that way. Maybe it was the bottom of the old fries because there were lots of bits and pieces, but very few whole fries. The unsweetened tea was more like water, it was so weak. I didn't like that I could not make any additional comments/instructions on the website when I ordered because I like my wings very, very well done and I was only able to check a box that said "well done". All in all, I tried it because I wasn't starving and figured I could at least get enough to satisfy me and I did. But, I still don't think I will be back any time soon. Guys, you never get a second chance to make a first impression and you consider that when serving sub-par food. On a positive note, the staff seemed very nice. read more
