Even though I had my order delivered, this food was delicious. I ordered the sesame balls. They're tasty and stuffed with red bean paste. I also ordered their house special soup. The broth was very delicate and the pieces of meat and the wontons inside were plentiful. I also ordered pork foo, which of course is a very delicate flavor. I did add a little of the soy sauce that was provided to give it some more salt. It was good. We got into town last night and stopped by to get Chinese food. We ordered very generic meals. Orange chicken and general tso with fried rice. We also got soup and crab rangoon. The food was bland. Rice tasted more like Latin rice than Chinese fried rice. The soup was oily and the crab rangoon were just cream cheese, no crab. They took forever to make the food, but I'm not sure why. Stopped by after a party in homestead and this was one of the places open. We moved down to downtown Miami from NY and every Chinese place we've been too was not good. This spot hit alll the points. I'm happy about the food, especially the bone-in Pork Ribs! It is full of flavor and not over sauced. All the dishes are really good and executed very well. I don't have a favorite, because it's whatever 'you' like. Their Fried Rice dishes are excellent (hope you are not allergic to Shrimp because it's delicious). New York-style fast-food Chinese is a good thing for Miamians and New Yorkers who may miss the flavors and offerings. However, the bad is, while we were waiting for our food; we observed the cashier handle the money and gave customers their food - ALL WITHOUT WEARING GLOVES OR SANITIZING HANDS. The cashier was in front of the counter on a table (due to Covid-19 restrictions). I observed at least 5 customers who were handled this way and this really bothered me. I kindly asked the young worker to sanitize his hands and place gloves on before he handled my food, or else I wanted an immediate refund. The worker gave me a frown and reluctantly did as I requested. I think it's extremely important that restaurants show the public they are taking the utmost precautions in food safety, especially during this Pandemic time. Regular customer, today someone made a mistake and did not put an egg roll in my order; I called and was told to come over and get it. I get to the place and anolder lady said they could not give me the egg roll because I had not ordered it (mind you, I ordered a C24 combo, not individually). No big deal. I went to pick up some food last night and got confirmation on the tipping issue. I don't understand this practice and why the owners would do this. No wonder the people working there seem miserable. If you tip on your card - the owner gets it. If you tip in the tip jar - the owner gets it. If you hand the tip to the cashier, she gets to keep it. I'm so baffled. I witnessed a young gentleman from the back, I'm assuming he may be the son of the owner - talk to the cashiers like he was running some sort of sweat shop. He spoke with such disrespect. Really disappointed in yesterday's situation, my wife loved ordering their shrimp egg rolls but yesterday they were very oily, I mean dripping with oil so much the bag was getting soaked with it. This has happened before, but it's once in a while like they rushed to fill the order without giving the food enough time to drain the oil out and usually we just get another order. But yesterday when I approached them about this they just looked at me like I was bitching about nothing and even had the nerve to tell me " things are cooked in oil here, if you don't like oily food why you order it then?"! I really like this place. No msg's in their food and their rice is not greasy. I always order for pick up and always grab the extra sauces they provide in the front. I've tried the spring and shrimp rolls along with the chicken choy mein (I love bok choy so I order this mostly), chicken chop suey (again I love veggies), the pork and shrimp fried rice, Mongolian beef, pepper steak and chicken wings. So far so good, no complaints from me about the quality of food. Just be prepared (especially on the weekends) for a little bit of a wait, regardless if you called in your order, but trust me the wait is worth it and I'm never hungry two hours after, a I usually just have to take a quick power nap, lol. read more

Out of the 20+ times I have ordered from here, only 2 times have not been up to par. The General Tso is usually my go to. This is the first place I have found to make general tso how it should be - spicy. Their pork fried rice is great and they make killer Mei Fun (rice noodles) Its great plain, or with special things added to it. I usually order from them when I have a cheat meal off of my diet, BUT, I noticed they have a diet friendly menu. Say whaaaaaat?? Chinese fast food, diet friendly? YEAH, OK. Seriously though, it is, and you can taste it to boot! My favorite is the steamed chicken and mixed vegetables. Their is no salt added and all sauce is on the side. The best Singapore noodle in Homestead, after trying all the Chinese take-outs around here. Not too spicy, not too bland, just right. Lotsa ingredients, good portion, good price. They seem to be very busy at lunchtime though that they'll put you on hold on the phone for a long time, but service is fast, food is ready in 15 minutes or so. read more

Great spot for Chinese food! We were looking for something quick and filling, and Yelp led us here. We had the chicken fried rice and lo mein rice, and they were both fantastic. It filled a family of 4, and we still had leftovers. The bathroom is clean. The space is small, yet feels roomy since they have four tables spaced out. The owners greeted us, so that was nice. Homestead used to have good Chinese food. I tried China Yan because my local favorite had declined in quality far too much, I never expected this place to be worse. Bland, hard rice. Tough, stringy chicken. Flavorless egg rolls. All par for the course in Homestead, so low expectations were unfortunately matched, but WOW I would struggle to even call the Lo mein I received "edible food". It was like licking the bottom of a burnt wok with scorched oil, simply rancid.
