Well, what can I say or better yet write. I will say that when you go to certain places you know what type of service you will get. The service is going to outweigh the food. The wings were decent, and a BOGO TMobile offer brought me here on this day which was June 8th at around 1130AM. Upon entering this place I see three workers and the female finally looked up from her phone with a look of I guess I have to say something to you. There was another guy standing there who did not make any eye contact or moved. Upon seeing this I am so glad I did a mobile order as to not deal with what I could foresee coming. I gave her my name and said it was an online order. She checked and said it was not ready and moved to a doorway but you could still see her cell phone sticking out. Priorities. Curious as to how much longer my food would take which is something I think is basic after saying your food is not ready. Also, maybe it is just me but I feel a way when someone is on their cell phone who handles food. Let's keep it real we know where people take their phones and pretty sure it is not being cleaned as much as it should. Here is where I saw the "I don't give a damn" turned up to next level. First the guy cooking gets a pass as he was of course working. Two people came in and there was no effort to greet them despite it being obvious that customers were awaiting. It's like that's not my job. After both waiting there was a fourth person working there. He came from the back to speak to the customers and see what they would like. WTH. As far as the only doing one job I was correct. When my food was ready the female (on that phone still and no handwashing) on the phone placed my food in the bag and the guy just standing there placed my fries in the bag. No multitasking here. It is one thing to have one job but how about do the job good. First of all if you work in almost any industry you have to deal with customers. If you do not like talking to people, then don't take jobs in customer service. Yes, if you offer any type of assistance especially when a purchase has taken place then you are in customer service. Perhaps my idea of customer service has changed as I thought it was being proactive, clearly communicating, being a professional, and being responsive. Then the audacity to ask you for a tip starting at 20% on top of not being able to do the basics, which is a basic life skill in in saying hello to a person. I write this and it does not matter because the saddest part is that the workers here perform their job at a level which is only lowering the bar and that low bar is becoming the norm. This time, my fiancé called in an order - he did this at 2:11. We have them over 40 minutes to get the food ready. Get there at 2:54, my fiancé goes in, and they say that the food isn't ready. WHAT!?!? The guy at the counter claims they have an influx of orders. However, he and 2 other guys are sitting around doing nothing. There was a young lady in the back doing all the work. So whoever is working right now, Friday, July 3rd at 3:03 pm (now), that girl deserves a raise. Those guys deserve to be fired. My fiancé asked the guy, "so what does the 18 minute guarantee mean?" So this was my first time at any Wingstop location. I'm still trying to figure out what the hype is all about. Food: One word....DRY! I am a sauce LOVER!! I love all things sauces and when I see the commercials for wingstop and they are tossing the wings in their famous sauces it makes my mouth water from thinking about it. When I ate these boneless wings my mouth started watering because they were very dry. It wasn't just dry because the lack of sauce but they were overcooked so the chicken wasn't juicy and moist. I ordered the lemon pepper wings which was suppose to be a sauce; however, I think they just sprinkled lemon pepper on top because it was bone dry. I also ordered the louisiana rub which was suppose to be a dry rub but that made the experience that much worse because the chicken was also dry. Also my fries were cold. Service: When I ordered, the waitress told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I left and went to another store came back in 30 minutes and everyone that ordered before me was still in the store waiting. My food was ready after 40 minutes. I've been here twice in the last couple of days. The first time I ordered online. My order wasn't ready when I went to pick it up. I actually had to ask them if my order was ready. It was just sitting on the shelf because no one called my name. The food was ok, but it wasn't really hot. Just room temperature. Second time was kind of worse. They shorted me one boneless wing and the tossing of sauces was gross. The fries tasted old as well. The food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. First time the servers were down( month within opening), second time I had to wait 25 min past the time they said it would take, my food was wrong so I had to wait another 10 min for it to be fixed, the food was not hot and tasted just okay, my last and final time the same experience. I had to wait, then when I got my food it was missing wings and fries. So I waited an addition 15 min to get my food correct. I ordered lemon pepper, Louisiana rub, and Hawaiian wings. The lemon pepper were very salty and the Louisiana rub tasted like something they whipped up in the back. I will be going to the Clinton location from now on. My food was ready and waiting and just needed to be paid for! During the transaction, the employee with the locs (who didn't greet me upon entering) kept trying to speak to and joke around with me. I was slightly irritated because it wasn't the time or place( you didn't acknowledge me when I came in, why bother me now?) and seemed to frustrate the young lady who was helping me. I can tell she's a people person but seems to lack professionalism Now to the food** This was my first time having Wingstop and it wasn't too bad. The fries were the best (I'm a sucker for fresh cut fries) and the seasoning was great. I ordered Mango Habanero tenders and they weren't dressed to my liking. They were pretty dry and stingy with the sauce. I know in the future to request for them to be 'saucy'. The portion sizes and quality fit well with the price. I could tell that everything was freshly cooked and not frozen. I didn't feel "robbed"(Large fry [could've fed 2 people], drink, and 5 large tenders and a roll [which was missing ]totaled $15.14 [including tax]). Overall, not too bad. I've ordered from this store quite a few times and almost every other order they forget my small side of fries or small order of plain wings. Every time that has happened I've actually let it slide and not complain. Well tonight they forgot my large voodoo fries and my BBQ wings came as Hawaiian. So I TRIED to call the store and resolve the issue. All I wanted was maybe $5 off my next order or free fries... something simple and understandable to ask for in this situation. The first time I called the store to resolve the issue, they put me on hold for 25 minutes. I decide to hang up and call back. A male answered the phone, I briefly talked to him about my issue with my order. He puts me on hold to "talk to the manager." The manager picks up the phone, i explain to her the situation, she then puts me on hold. As i wait, another 20 minutes goes by while i wait on hold. I hang up AGAIN and call AGAIN, and they must recognize my phone number now on caller ID because absolutely no one is answering. So now this small problem that could have easily been resolved will now be resorted to corporate. If the employees want to play games, that's fine. I will be heard! As I said, it was a small issue that could have been very easily taken care of, but if this is how the manager and employees want to handle these kinds of situations, then so be it. This is the worst wing place I ever went to. First of all, the coronavirus is peaking in charts and no one in the kitchen is wearing gloves. My food took about 30 minutes, that's understandable because I ordered 24 wings. What's not understandable is when I got the food, it was cold. I got three types of wings and only one type of wing flavor I got was hot in temperature. I got a large fries and it was barely any fries in it, they also provided no ketchup. The wings were dry and the bbq ones I got were cold and the mango haberno wasn't even spicy, the flavor was not there, AT ALL. And top it all off there was NO NAPKINS in my bag. how do you serve finger food and not put napkins in a take out order!! I honestly would not reccomend anyone to eat here, theres better wing places.
