The food and drink variety was amazing!! I got some wings and corn it was a 10/10. Unfortunately the service was a 2/10. The front counter employee was really sweet and helpful. The employee that was handing out food, on the other hand with glasses and braided pig tales with color on the bottom, wasn't very pleasant. Eh. This place has great wings, don't get me wrong. But this location is something lacking. First, when I walked in, all the employees were on their phones. That's cool, but kind of set up the rest of the experience. A friend of mine ordered one "for here" amd one to go, and when he was done I stepped up and the Employee immediately picked up the phone to take another order. I stood there awkwardly while two or three other employees hung out in the kitchen for around five minutes. Ok. It's a wing place not a five star restaurant. Whatever. When I placed my order, one for here one to go, the cashier seemed confused by this even though my friend had just done the same right before me. After some effort, we got the order understood. This in itself doesn't bother me and probably would've knocked off a single star. I work in retail and served for a couple of years. I get it, we all have off days. Then I went to get my drink. They have one of those cool coke machines with a touch screen to select a bunch of different mixes. Problem was that the top (where ice is loaded in ) was left off. It remained that way for the rest of the time by design. A little ladder is set up permanently next to it so an employee can reload ice into it. Now I'm thinking of what has had the chance to get in there (flies, dust, sneezing, coughing) all over the ice. Next to the drink machine is a typical station with straws, lids, condiments, etc. The straws were unwrapped in one of those little holders that you press to dispense them one at a time. The problem was that there was no top because the little lever to dispense straws doesn't work, so people are just palming the naked straws with their hands to grab one out. And again, the straws are exposed to whatever might flow their way. The counter itself was sticky, and the ketchup packets were covered in some kind of slime. On the way to my table, my shoes stuck to the floor a bit for lack of mopping. I kind of get more grossed out the more I think about it. My bud gets his wings out, and hey, they're delicious. My order gets put under the wrong name (not even close) and I have to go up to the counter after a bit to discover this. So I get to watch my friend eat and he gets to watch me eat. Neither order had the to go portion boxed up. But again, the wings were good I guess. The more I think about the state of the dining area, the less I want to go back. (What is the kitchen like?) The more I think about the service, the less I want to go back. If they have other locations, I'll probably go out of my way to go to them instead. Avoid this one. Bad service was the main reason for my score. The food is generally good - can't mess up wings if you love wings. Waited 45 minutes for a 20 min order. 2 cashiers who were not paying attention to the orders and were literally sitting/standing around. The girl who took my order was assigned stock. Even when I was standing at the register waiting to ask about why my order is taking so long - she had to stop what she was doing to help me - when it's not even her job and she was polite. It's not a food problem here - it's a staffing issue for sure. Cooks drop the food off on the racks and the cashiers are oblivious to who is in the restaurant and or what food is ready to go.
