I had a very disappointing experience at Wingstop on Clinton Highway. The black younger heavier woman with glasses taking orders was extremely unprofessional. I stood at the counter waiting while she was focused on texting on her phone and did not acknowledge me for an extended period. When she finally spoke, she simply asked, "Are you ordering?" and then continued looking at her phone throughout the interaction. Her attitude came across as rude and uninterested in helping customers. The restaurant itself was also not clean. The drink station was dirty, the cola machine appeared unclean, and the floors were sticky throughout the dining area. While there were several employees working, there seemed to be a lack of teamwork and professionalism. At one point, an employee was loudly yelling "Give me a second!" across the restaurant to another team member, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers. Overall, the combination of poor customer service, employee distractions, and cleanliness issues made for a very negative experience. Love Wingstop but went to this location and 11:10 p.m., and we were basically told they couldn't serve us and to leave. There were no other customers at the store, we were the only people there when we drove up, but the woman working there said they couldn't serve us because they were slammed and it would take 45 minutes to make our order. Don't know who all those orders were for as no one was there. The worker then locked the door behind us so no one else could go into the store. It's not like we showed up there five minutes before they were closing. There were also two other workers outside. One sitting in a chair outside on his phone and another running in and out of his car. This location used to be very good. Not sure what happened. The sign outside says they're open until midnight. We were craving wings and we stopped in to try this chain out. We had the special that consisted of 15 wings, two drinks and an order of fries. We tried the mild traditional sauce and got a side of ranch and blue cheese. The wings were cooked fresh, were steamy hot and a decent size. The sauce was flavorful and we were stuffed! I had a small order that I placed online and the estimated time was 16-21 minutes. We got to the restaurant about 30 minutes later and our food wasn't ready. That's not a problem so I waited for my order. I quickly realized 4 other customers in front of me were also waiting for their online order. I glanced to the kitchen and saw almost all the employees on their phones, laughing, and generally not working. Only one employee was filling all the orders. The girl at the front taking orders was very rude and acted like she wanted to be anywhere but working. She actually answered the phone for a carry out order and said "wing stop, what do you want". A customer before me got his order and asked if his dipping sauces were inside the bag and the girl rolled her eyes and said "well what sauces do you want". Overall I was very sad to see how little respect the staff had for the customers (except for that one employee that was working very hard trying to pick up the slack).
