Went for a second time and we stayed away from their aweful wings (from our 1st trip). This time we ordered strictly dry tenders and they were good. They are really like mass produced tenders you buy in bulk at Costco, but they deep fry them on site and then toss them in the spices and flavors that you order. It's nothing compared to Dave's hot chicken, but it's cheap and hits the spot. This time we got the hot honey, lemon pepper and garlic parmesean flavor wings and fries. My fave was the hot honey, followed by garlic parm and then lemon pepper. All were good and tastes exactly how you'd imagine it would. No surprises, really. The fries, despite us dining in and consuming them right away - were barely warm, but somehow it preserved it's crisp. I wish they were warmer/hot...it would be sooo good. We probably got a stale batch. Note that their website offers more ordering options for the tenders. The combo I wanted was not listed in the store, but when I showed the guy what I wanted, he had no problems helping me with the combo I wanted at the listed price. This place has no trashcan outside so when you leave, you have to toss things over the into the trashcan inside the kitchen area on your way out. Pricing is reasonable and the front desk guy was friendly. I'd stay away from the wet flavors as it makes the food soggy, but that could just be personal preference. The wonder bar was not on the menu which has been my go to treat. I waited over an hour for my food, and even if you order in advance you are still going to wait for your food. There's no parking at all which adds to the wait time, and there's no seating or anywhere to stand no ambiance at all. I do not know what's going on with The Coast Cafe but I am no longer recommending this restaurant. I usually find wingstop fries a bit soggy so order well done and that definitely helps. I love their traditional hot sauce but have found it stains my hands and literally takes days to wash away. The solution? Order it on a sandwich instead of wings and problem solved. My one continual gripe with wingstop is that they don't offer napkins. There are rolls of thin brown paper towels by the drink machine and where they place orders to be carried to people who dine in. Simply offer actual napkins or place these "towel dispensers" on every table and you could solve an easy problem. Wings are an inherently messy meal and you shouldn't have to search for napkins. I had a disappointing experience with this restaurant's delivery service. The food itself is fine, and the delivery person was polite, but the staff taking phone orders was extremely rude. The Uber app estimated delivery between 4:00 and 4:20 PM, so I waited outside at 4:00, but the order did not arrive until 4:40 PM. Since the store does not provide real-time tracking, and previous orders required picking up outside the street instead of putting food on the floor with picture taking, I called to check on the delivery. During my second call, the staff hung up abruptly and said, "I think you are calling too many times, ok?" and before that she insisted that the 30-40 minute delay was not a problem, especially when I said "I've been waiting here for 30 minutes" at 4:30 pm ish she soonly reply "what? 30 minutes? it's not 30 minutes yet, the last time you call me was 4:15 so ....( forgot what she said)". (Well, I didn't mean 30 minute is from the last time I called...?) but she didn't let me explain, which felt dismissive. Honestly, BEWARE eating at this location. I've been to the Medford location a handful if times but I will NOT be returning not eating from Wingstop ever again. I went today at 3pm. The kid at the register was very nice, took my order correct. He was quick and polite! I ordered the 8piece boneless garlic and boneless Louisiana. They were both dry rub. I asked for them to be crispy and I got fries. I asked for those to be crispy. Everything I repeat everything was perfect. It tasted so good on the type of person that will pick maybe take a bite of each thing that I get any either throw it away or bring it home from one of my kids, I eat majority of the food and when I came home, I ate all the rest I can't believe the flavor the quality of the chicken and the way it was cooked. It was so good. This place is getting 10 stars because of how nice the kid was at the front and the quality of the food the kid was also doing Uber eats GrubHub takeout and he was cleaning up taking out the trash, wipe and tables and he had to be about 19 years old at the most. The garlic parm is buttery and garlicky just how we like them! The spicy Korean wasn't spicy at all- it actually had no flavor to be honest. I had to soak it in bleu cheese and honey mustard in order to taste anything. The hickory bbq is straight up bbq- nothing special about it. Cajun is legit buffalo sauce, tasted like Frank's hot sauce if you ask me. Most of these flavors tasted like bottle sauces- nothing authentic or special about them. The fries were good! They were definitely a little soggy, so we threw them in the air fryer when we got home and it wasn't bad. Let's get the obligatory "I wanted to love this place" out of the way right now. I'm not a wing aficionado but man, do I get some weird cravings for them, especially when sports are on. I get that they are cooked to order but you would think with how busy it was that they would just constantly be throwing them down into the fryer and saucing up. If you have "wing" in your name, they better be REALLY good. I can't give them anymore than like a 4/10. Extremely tiny for the price and a bit salty. Plus the Hawaiian wings weren't sauced all that generously. Needless to say, it was a huge disappointment and it makes me not want to rush back here anytime soon. The side order of buffalo tenders we ordered, however, were really friggin' good. They weren't nearly as salty and sauced perfectly, there was no hint of heat which I didn't expect to have but sometimes places that offer them as "mild" end up turning up the scovilles. The side of cole slaw was also fairly redeeming and the side of veggies is a generous portion. We left fairly unimpressed with the wings but everything else was ok.
