There was a decent crowd - about half full - appeared to be regulars. Their house made chips and salsa remain the stars of the show. We each had a "House" margarita. My SO ordered the Wet Burrito which is simply their Burrito with Queso (and, not much of it) poured over it for $4 more. It was "OK" but nothing to get excited about. It was huge - would easily feed two people. I ordered the Quesabirria and two pork tamales. The Quesabirria was excellent. Very flavorful and I really enjoyed the bowl of sauce for dipping it in. The Tamales were disappointing. While the filling was tasty, the flour "shell" was way too thick - at least a quarter inch thick and, I don't believe it was made with Masa flour. The waitress explained that they have great Bloody Mary's as they make their own mix. After the drinks were ordered, the waitress came back to the table to let us know they were out of Bloody Mary mix. Mind you, this is 6:00 on a Saturday. That shouldn't happen. The service... All of the drinks were ordered at the same time, and they came out in a staggered fashion over a period of 15 minutes. Same thing with our dinners. Interestingly, the hold up with the entrees was the 2nd French Dip. I would guess if the guy making the sandwiches saw 2 of the same thing on the same ticket, he'd make them both at the same time. That second sandwich took at least 15 minutes to get to the table. We're all being polite and waiting for his meal to deliver so we can all eat at the same time. Cold fish, anyone? And I'd still like to know where my horseradish went. Oh, parking in the lot to the left of the building is stupid expensive. Park in the garage across the street and save $20 bucks. All in all, our check came to about $100.00 for 3 of us. That's without the tip. My meal was a solid 2 to 3-star event but factoring in the others' opinions and negating the Bloody Mary incident and service, I'll give it 4 stars. Pretty sure I'll go back, but probably not too soon.
