After our V Day event, we rushed over to Kuku Korean to see what the wait time was for a table for 6. It was just after 6pm, and the stars were aligned for us, because we got the last large table available! Woo Hoooo! Happy Valentine's Day to us!! When the bill arrived, we were shocked to see a **$2 charge for the ketchup**. At no point were we informed that there would be an extra charge. Not only was the lack of transparency frustrating, but this is also the **first restaurant in my adult life** that has charged for ketchup with an order of fries. It's not about the $2--it's about the principle. Charging for a basic condiment without letting customers know beforehand feels petty and leaves a bad impression. We genuinely liked this place, but this experience has made us rethink whether we'll be coming back.
