Whack @$$ wings
Eric B.

Took my gf here for the first time because she has never tried wingstop. Big mistake First off it took about 30 minutes to get 6 wings and there was no one in front of me waiting. Wings were ok nothing spectacular. Fries undercooked and gross (see pic) Over all we will not be returning to wing stop

Took a long time to get food and the lobby was pretty unkept. Also there was no ice in the soda machine.

Ordered a combo, was rang up as sandwich and a drink. The sandwich was not good and it was expensive and I did not get any fries.

I'm in San Luis Obispo for work, and since it was my wife's birthday, she wanted to try Finney's…read moreCrafthouse. Birthday girl gets to pick, so off we went. The place was absolutely packed! I don't know if it was because of the soccer game or if it's always this busy, but that's usually a good sign. Even with the crowd, our party of six was seated almost immediately. The menu was excellent--not one of those places with ten pages of random items. It was well thought out and made it easy to choose. My wife and I both ordered the jalapeño burger (I can't remember the official name) with a side of tater tots. My son ordered the tuna, my daughter had the chicken tenders, and my nephew and niece both went with the barbecue burger. The food came out surprisingly fast, and then it was time to eat. Wow. This was easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. My wife would not stop talking about hers. Her exact words were, "This burger tastes beefy." I'm still not exactly sure what that means, but judging by how fast she finished it, I'd say she absolutely loved it. To top it all off, our amazing waitress surprised my wife with a complimentary cookie sundae for her birthday. I really wish I had caught her name. She had curly hair and glasses, and she was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I was not impressed with their margarita flight but who cares, it was about the food. If you're looking for an incredible burger, great service, and a fun atmosphere in San Luis Obispo, Finney's Crafthouse is definitely worth the visit. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in town.

He could've asked people seated at the bar (with their menus closed) if he could take it to give it to us. Nonetheless, I waited and ordered a watermelon smash (something like that). Before even getting the drink, I got the check and closed out since I was waiting for a table. After waiting a couple of minutes, I finally got a table so I decided to close out while my drink was still getting prepared. When it came out, I took it to my table but it was not good. I told the waitress that it wasn't good and ordered a different drink and she delivered it but didn't tell me that I was going to get charged for it (and that was after I had asked if I was getting charged for it). After I told the waitress, she said she had to talk to her manager and luckily they took it off the bill. In terms of the food, it was okay. The lights were really dim so I felt as if I was eating in the dark.

It…read moremight seem a little unexpected to find top-tier tacos at a bar, but as self-proclaimed taco aficionados, we can confidently say these are the best tacos in San Luis Obispo. We've tried the pastor, lemon pepper chicken, carne asada, pescado, and crispy pescado--and every single one has been spot on. They actually remind me of the authentic tacos I've had in Mexico City. I've seen a few reviews mentioning rude staff, but in the eight times we've been there, everyone has been nothing but friendly and chill. Bonus points for the pool table and the live music--we love the fun, relaxed vibe. If you're serious about your tacos, give The Mark a try. You might just become a regular too.

Bouncers working on April 10, 2026 were extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of simply doing their job, they made unnecessary and disrespectful comments. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of upholding rules. However, there is a clear difference between maintaining standards and failing to show basic respect to guests and this interaction reflected the latter. That kind of unprofessional behavior reflects poorly on the entire establishment. Management should take a closer look at who they have representing them at the door.

Asked the bartender if they had a good stout. He let me taste test the one they had on tap -- Ales Smith Speedway Stout (out of San Diego). Notes of chocolate and coffee.... Oh...sooo good. Unfortunately, the service from one particular waitress hasn't matched the quality of the restaurant. Each time we've had her, she's made us feel a bit uncomfortable certain remarks and her unwelcoming attitude. On one visit, we were left unattended for most of our stay and were only able to order appetizers before she disappeared. When she returned, she assumed we were done ordering instead of asking if we wanted anything else. As a business manager I hope the service improves because the food and vibe are definitely worth it.

But let me talk about the REAL main character: Skylar at the register. Skylar didn't just take my order -- she curated an EXPERIENCE. The energy. The vibes. The customer service so good I briefly considered updating my résumé and applying just to be in her presence again. The food was so good I forgot my own name for a second. The seasoning slapped me across the face and said "wake up, you've been eating mid chicken your whole life." The fries were golden, the tenders were CRUNCHY, and the sauce deserves its own Netflix special. But Skylar? Skylar deserves a raise, a promotion, a statue out front, and possibly a national holiday. If Dave's ever loses her, the company will collapse within 48 hours. 10/10. 5 stars. Would risk mild to severe spice levels again just to order from Skylar. Like so many American dreams, Dave's Hot Chicken had humble beginnings. I liked how this restaurant was presented and the storytelling was great too. After my first bite of the fried chicken, I made up my mind. I will definitely keep coming back for this addictive, crispy, and flavorful chicken tender from Dave's Hot Chicken. One negative point is that my chicken and fries were a little bit cold as my personal preference is to eat food at a hot temperature. Napoleon's shake was unique as it conquered the three major ice cream flavors in one. It is compelling. You must have the lucky charm topping because it brings good luck. We got an extra free milkshake because the staff accidentally put the Oreo instead of the Lucky Charms.

I opted to do a trio with the bahn mi, tip o' Argentina, and the garlic fries. The food was good I forgot to take a picture! The tip o' Argentina was solid with the garlic aioli and the chimmichurri perfectly complimenting the steak and the lettuce and tomato adding a little bit of freshness. The buns they use for all of their sliders are soft, slightly sweet, and don't fall apart while you're eating. The Bahn Mi was even better. I love pork but was a little skeptical about pulled pork on a slider riffing on the flavors of a bahn mi. To my surprise and delight, it tasted just like grilled Vietnamese pork, which was perfectly complimented by the fresh and pickled veggies and surprisingly hot jalapeño. Finally, I got the garlic fries which were a massive portion, crisp, and very garlicky. Everything was good and with such a large and customizable menu, I'd definitely return if I was in the area again. I also want to give a shout out to the bartender, Kelsey. I sat at the bar and her service was attentive and she was very knowledgeable about the menu.
