    6 piece chicken mixed plain.
    Ty B.

Hands down the worst chicken I ever ordered and I eat a lot of chicken. I even just ordered from them the day before so what I found out was the different Bonchon locations sell different chicken and even cook it differently. Sadly this suppose to be restaurant sit in style and they got all the lights out in this place except at the door way. So coming inside I was skeptical. Ordered via Uber eats as always just like the day before but this time I wanted to see the place I got my delicious chicken from the day before. Come to find out I was sent to a restaurant location in hyattsville. The day before I ordered delivery and it came from a good delivery location that's not even a store front Bonchon but the chicken was amazing from here. The service at this Bonchon in hyattsville horrible I spent 55$ for chicken and couldn't even get a free ranch. They were an extra 1.50$ not even pre packed these are small cups they pour into, for 1.50$ that's horrible after spending 55$. To get home and my whole 6 piece was burnt to the meat. I never thought I would chip a tooth eating chicken but this here Horrible. Y'all need to do something about this location I believe it's the worst one in our whole area they don't care about the customer or customer service.

This used to be one of my favorite Korean places to go to back in the days. I'm utterly disappointed with where this places headed. It used to have an amazing vibe/atmosphere, and my friends and I would always order their tteokbokki and bibimbap. There's free 2 hour parking in the area. Upon arriving to the place, I had noticed that they had build a whole entire wall separating the main part of the restaurant (now blocked off) and customers. It felt more like a cheap Asian food takeout than a lovely restaurant. It honestly gave an isolating impression and put me off. I had ordered tteokbokki, and I still love the fried sushi-like rolls that came in the dish. However, when I brought the dish to my car in the bag they gave me, the sauce was leaking all over the bag and the container's lid was undone. They need to figure out how to better seal take-out orders. The food itself was just alright. There's some flavor, the noodles were soggy...but I still enjoyed that traditional tteokbokki taste. I'll give this place another go once they open back up for dining in but I don't recommend ordering tteokbokki for takeout. Overall, was disappointed.

This location is located near the movie theater entrance by PG mall. It's convenient when you want to do dinner and a movie. My only qualm is the language barrier. Wait staff is super nice but she got our order wrong because she didn't understand me. Food was delicious. Had to send the fried rice back because of too many onions. Beware of that. If you get boneless wings for your kid, ask for sauce on the side. Sauces are strong.

Chicken Waaangs....with a "wholelotta" Swag and Flavah!! As loud as I can say it...."BONCHON....is the ______!" .....To keep it PG...."BOMB!?"...."JAM".....you fill in the blanks. lol I have had quite a few chicken wings (chicken forearms, elbows and biceps with no hands...technically speaking) in my day. I'm talking "fried, dyed, laid to the side" in every sauce and way possible; but none like Bonchon. This stuff is good....correction "hella good!" The wings are cooked to perfection. Never once have I ever tasted unflavored, dry or burned wings the many times I have eaten here. It's seasoned and has the best --most flavorful, crunchy skin. So, what makes their wings so special and hold helm to such high regard!? I know the secret....its in the sauce and it so addictive. Their frying technique, coupled with the sauce is insatiable. On top of that, the fried-crackle crust is like 'crack' and leaves you salivating for more. I have had this stuff as leftovers the next day....and the crispy-crunch factor remains even after being refrigerated and reheated!! You have two choices of flavors: Soy Garlic and a Spicy flavor that resembles a Sriracha profile. The ground red-chilies and garlic flavor....add a burn and ting....that even your lips are on fire! I came to this location for some late night eats and drinks, with friends. We ordered both a mix of the spicy and soy garlic wings. Everyone's tongue and sinuses were on alert at our table from the spicy as soon as it arrived. LOL. Personally, for me, the Soy Garlic flavor sets the wings off the best and is my favorite. My only suggestion to you....Eat this stuff in moderation! You have been warned; I'm telling you to proceed with caution otherwise this place will soon become "Your Pusher" baby...food drug addiction for sure! There are several other worthy items on their menu such as the Bulgogi Fried Rice and spicy pork potstickers. But the wings, its complimentary sides and a cold brew is all you need to walk out of there full and on cloud 9! Overall Rating: (4 Stars!)....5+ Stars on the Chicken tho'...for sure!! The customer service at this location is the only thing lacking compared to the Navy Yard and Arlington locations....a little slow and lacking....1 Star deducted. But in all, Bonchon offers up great food, the best wings in the DMV, and is the ideal place to hang-out in groups....or just to simply catch up with a friend 1 on 1 over some good quick eats and convo. This place definitely gets my....Certified: "Hittin' n' Stickin'!" stamp of approval!

I've only ordered on DoorDash but omg.. the soy garlic wings are sooooooo good! The crunch is everything and the sauce is so tasty. I don't recommend getting the plain wings though. They don't have any flavor whatsoever.

Just had the new Korean bbq wings delivered from Bonchon and they were pretty good. They were a little sweet but very crispy.

Come for the delicious fried chicken, not for the service. Customer service here is not really top notch and barely satisfactory. Courtesy may be a foreign concept here. The server didn't want to write the order down initially but was continually messing up the order each time they repeated it back. Eventually our suggestions were heeded and it was written down. On to the most important part, the food! Most people get the drums but don't sleep on the wings! The wings are fried just as good and tasty. Plus I feel like I can better monitor my food intake with wings. I got half sweet crunch flavor and half soy garlic. Sweet crunch is a new flavor I enjoyed. Soy garlic is classic and always taste good. I also ordered the edamame. It had just the right amount of salt. You also get a pretty good amount of edamame, as a side it was relatively filling. We also had an order of the parmesan fries. There was actually enough parmesan on the fries to justify the up-charge. Of course I'll be back because I come purely for the fried chicken. The place is clean and the parking garage allows you to park free for two hours. Just come get some fried chicken!

Today, I'm in Hyattsville, Maryland, and my friend took me to get some KFC--aka: Korean Fried Chicken at Bonchon. The fried chicken was good and extra crispy and the chicken in two delicious flavors, soy garlic and spicy. To me, the spicy chicken was not Texas girl spicy. We ordered a large variety of items. I really liked the chicken fried rice and the fried chicken. The kimchi was different, it was sweet and garlicky. The Parmesan fries were tasty too.

You can literally hear them slapping around your noodles in the kitchen! I also ordered the spicy seafood soup, which was recommended. I liked the chicken a little more than the soup, but the soup was a large portion as well and very shareable. I washed my meal down with a Korean beer.

However, when we walked in and saw only a couple of tables occupied, I had a feeling it might not live up to its appearance. Unfortunately, that feeling turned out to be justified once we looked at the menu and tasted the food. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 4/5 Service - 3/5 Food - 1/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - The restaurant is modern, clean, and well maintained. The dining room is attractive and comfortable, and it feels much more upscale than your average Korean restaurant. Service - Service was adequate. Nothing stood out as particularly good or bad. The staff took our order, brought out the food, and checked on us occasionally. What We Ordered - -Galbi - At over $40, this was by far the most disappointing dish of the meal. I've had galbi at countless Korean restaurants, many of which charge under $30 while delivering significantly better flavor and quality. The seasoning was noticeably different from what I'm accustomed to, and not in a good way. For the price, it felt extremely underwhelming. -Pa Jeon - Just okay. It was a standard Korean pancake that didn't stand out in any particular way. -Tofu Stew - We ordered it mild, but it was surprisingly spicy and excessively salty. The saltiness overwhelmed most of the other flavors in the dish. -Korean Fried Chicken - Unfortunately, this suffered from the same issue. The chicken itself was decent, but it was far too salty, making it difficult to enjoy. Final Thoughts - The biggest issue for me was the value. Nearly every dish felt overpriced for the quality being served, and the excessive saltiness across multiple items made the meal even more disappointing. While the restaurant looks great and has a modern atmosphere, the food simply did not justify the prices. Considering how many excellent Korean restaurants I've been to over the years, this was one of the more disappointing experiences. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

One bit of advice, this place always looks closed. I think it's the lighting. If it looks closed, just check the door. It's probably not closed.

This is what really ticked me off. I went to the front before we left and asked to speak to a manager. I think $38.99 is a fair price for all you can eat. I like that the portions are small so too much is not wasted. This was also my first encounter with the delivery robot. That was cool. I don't like that it has other people's food on it though. I was sitting close to the kitchen so my food didn't have to travel too far but, I wouldn't want my food traveling across the room and making stops at multiple tables before getting to me. I'm from the South and I need a bit of flavor so I did add Salt and Pepper to the items while cooking. The salad dressing had no flavor. I ended up using the yum yum sauce as a dressing. The dumplings were good. The cucumber salad was also good. My favorite hot item was the steak and shrimp. The brisket was mostly fat and the thin pork belly was like Prosciutto. My only suggesting is serving the noodles closer to when the hot items are ready. They get stiff if they just sit. Oh, and I think you need separate tongs for seafood, pork, chicken, and beef. I was worried about cross contaminating. I'd try this again.
