The lobby was very clean and shiny, and the restrooms were large and clean. The theatre's interior was very beautiful and comfortable. Every comfortable seat in the theatre offers a perfect view of the stage, and the sound system was perfect. The employees were all very friendly and professional, and they assisted anyone and everyone who needed help. Though the music was a tad different from what we are used to on the radio, the performers worked hard and did a GREAT job of keeping the audience engaged and entertained.

Being a huge fan of the film, I rushed to get tickets thinking it was actual live stage performance, then come to find out it was just a screening. Oops! Don't rush, take your time when purchasing for a show. The screening itself was adapted from Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece. Nothing can replace the original cast of this iconic film; however, the stage version was pretty impressive with the handling of the changing of stage scenes. It was highly abbreviated though, in my opinion. Tickets were for General Admission so we chose our seats upon doors opening. Every seat (approximately 750 seats) in the house seems to have non-obstructive view. We went for the first row center on the balcony level. Love this view. If you need a snack, there is wine, beer, water, soft drinks, and packaged snacks like cookies, chips, and candies for sale. Parking is in the structure right next to the theatre. (US$10-15) Ushers and all staff were very polite and courteous. Enjoy!

The performers were excellent and obviously they have a fantastic director!! From costumes, to stage design, lighting, choreographer all went well together! I have been to enough plays and performances to say this theater is definitely special and if you get a chance you should go watch a play here. There is a big parking structure so parking is not a problem and it's a short walk to the theater from there.

Our family went in summer 2018, 2019, and 2022. The gentleman next to us had sat in every type of seat in the house, and he confirmed that each seat has a good view. For a seat on the stage floor, there are cushions, but you must be comfortable sitting on the floor for about 50 min at a time. Most seats are comfortable. Some seats use bar-stool type seating that may cut into your thighs a bit. On a clear night, enjoy the moon and stars from the top level! One time, there was some aircraft noise from the airport, but that was unusual. Tickets. We did not see any at-the-door sales; all sales were in advance. When you buy on the website, the Barclay will email you good directions two days before the performance. The e-ticket says "print this ticket" but it is OK to just show it on your phone. From home. Bring an extra layer of clothing because summer nights can be relatively cool and breezy at any level in the theater. Some people may like to bring a seat cushion. Park in the UCI Student Center Parking Structure for $13, through 11:59 pm the day of the performance. Arrive about 7:20 to give yourself plenty of time to stroll to the theater. Signage is good. The location on Apple Maps is not correct and Google Maps does not give a location; hopefully that will change. At intermission, restrooms are signposted, a minute's walk from the theater in the adjacent UCI Library building. M&Ms or Gummi Bears cost $1; paper cups of water are free. After the show finishes, some cafes and restaurants in the University Center are still open: most fast-food restaurants, Cha for Tea, or Eureka. Access the University Center by using the Watson pedestrian bridge across Campus Dr.

I am a huge Avenue Q fan and I have been trying to catch their show but I missed them the last time…read morethey were in town at the Pantages Theatre. This year I was on top of their schedule and I was pleased to discover that they would be performing at the Claire Trevor Theatre at UC Irvine. I was able to purchase tickets for the event online and the tickets were mailed to me within a week. There are discounted tickets for military, seniors, students and of course ALUMNI!! Zot Zot!! If you are not familiar with the UCI campus, I recommend parking at the Mesa Parking Structure (4004 Mesa Rd, Irvine, CA). Level 3 has a bridge that connects the structure over to the Arts Plaza. If you don't see a map, just keep an eye out for building #711. If you see box office windows, you have successfully located the Claire Trevor Theatre. The Claire Trevor Theatre was originally known as the Village Theatre. It later became renamed after legendary Emmy and Oscar Award winning actress Claire Trevor. Not only was so talented in the arts, but she was also a philanthropist. In her retirement she spent a lot of time with the UCI School of the Arts and their students. Upon her death her family donated $10 million to the school and thus the school had the money to rebuild the theater and to rename it in her honor. If you are not familiar with Avenue Q, they are a Tony award winning musical that is an adult version of Sesame Streets. Their performance addresses real social issues that we face in our lives. They addressed controversial issues like racism and homosexuality and how things would be better if we were honest about our feelings. They question one's purpose in life and how to deal with disappointment. Most importantly they stressed out that helping others is a reward in itself and it can bring you fulfillment when you are feeling lost. The performance was spectacular!! It was beyond the scope of my expectations. I am trying really hard to sensor myself to not ruin the plot for anyone who has not seen it. I just want to commend all of the cast who were SO TALENTED!! They were able to make the puppets portray real emotions and real arm movements all while singing and being in complete sync with their character. I have the upmost respect for their skills and passion for the stage. My favorite character and the character I relate to the most is Kate Monster and I wanted to cry during one of her songs, "There's a fine, fine line between love... And a waste of time."

Admission was only $6 per person, and children under 2 are free, which makes it an affordable outing for families. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They answered our questions and gave us information about the farm. The barn is on the smaller side, but there were still plenty of animals to see, including ponies, goats, chickens, and sheep. Outside, we also saw a turkey, horses, cows, and a pig. We visited around 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, and at one point we had the entire barn to ourselves, which made it especially enjoyable with our little one. Storytime for little ones is offered on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. After visiting the animals, we explored the produce market and were impressed by the variety. They had fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious pastries, breads, jams, and lots of other tasty snacks to browse. If it's your first visit, I'd recommend going during one of their scheduled activities so you can experience the tractor ride as well. There was plenty of parking, and I appreciated that they had a changing table available for babies and toddlers, which made the visit even more family-friendly. Overall, it was a relaxing, low-key outing that's perfect for families with young children. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back to experience more of what Tanaka Farms has to offer!

None of us had been before, and we've honestly been talking about it ever since. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is awesome. The hostess was welcoming, our server was fantastic, and the whole place has a fun, energetic vibe without feeling over the top. We ordered three appetizers to share, and every one of them was excellent. The burrata was incredibly fresh, the warm bread with olive oil and vinegar was the perfect way to start the meal, and the saffron meatballs were the standout. The short rib stuffed meatballs were absolutely incredible. For our entrees, we ordered five different dishes so everyone could try a little of everything. The lasagna was my favorite, followed closely by the carbonara and the gnocchi. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and cooked perfectly. Since it was our birthday celebration, we couldn't skip dessert. The giant affogato with hazelnut and pistachios was unbelievable and the perfect way to end the meal. What really made the night special, though, was Domenico. He recommended both food and drinks, personally brought each dish to our table, remembered our names, and made us feel like guests in his home instead of customers in a restaurant. The chef even came out to say hello, which was another great touch. It's rare to find a restaurant where the food is this good and the hospitality is even better. This was a true 10/10 experience from start to finish. We'll absolutely be back, and The Red Room has officially earned a spot on our regular restaurant rotation. Highly recommend.
