Awesome school they have so many sport programs during the summer for kid's of all ages for so many different sports and for great prices and it keeps yours children happy and busy. Great staff running the programs so friendly and welcoming. The coaches are amazing. I haven't been back here quite awhile since last year. I used to come by here every week when my daughter was a student here at UCI . Even thou she graduated in 2016 , but we still came back to this campus to visit. Every year you see the batch of new students that so eager and enthusiast to learn their new school. This is also very good school with a beautiful campus. Tonight we all came here because of the Mass at this student center for Ash Wednesday with bishop Kevin Vann of OC diocese. There were so many students attended. Father Francis Vu was also very busy with planning and organizing this Evening. He couldn't have done it without the Catholic community of UCI . First time visiting UCI and the campus is so beautiful. It's very large and spacious with clean facilities and modern amenities. Very conveniently located to John Wayne airport which makes getting to and from here very easy. The city of Irvine is very clean, safe, and has a ton of upscale restaurants and shopping close by. If I ever have a kid, I would recommend them coming to UCI. Specifically in regards to the Student Center, I spent all day here as part of a conference and I thought the facilities were great and very well set up to make the entire day very comfortable for me. The tech support staff was on call throughout the entire event to make sure that all the lectures went smoothly and there were minimal tech disruptions. And on top of that - free wifi made everything very convenient. read more

We come on campus to donate platelets at the blood donation center located in the student center. This review is for the parking structure and parking security. We have gotten multiple tickets since the new digital system. We can't go to the campus security office to contest it and just get it taken care of right away because they don't handle that, it must be done online. Stressful to donate so much time and then walk out to see another stupid ticket when my license plate was supposed to be safelisted. On an unrelated note, I've also walked out to see that someone sideswiped my vehicle and didn't leave a note, I hate this structure and the parking system in place here. I have considered not donating here anymore on multiple occasions for these issues, but the donations are more important so I unfortunately keep coming back. 1/11/19 - hmmm, another ticket despite having been safe-listed. I plan to update this review throughout the year to showcase the incompetence 12/4/2019 - got a notice in the mail they put a hold on our car registration and are requiring a payment of $110 before they'll remove it... because apparently when the blood center reached out on our behalf regarding the ticket wrongfully given ticket from 1/11, the staff over at the security/parking didn't actually do anything. read more

WOW....is this a University or is this a major shopping center? Stopped by because I had a few minutes and I was already in the area. I even went to UCI and I don't recognize the campus. It's amazing how many more buildings have been built, how much larger the campus looks and nicer and how professional it all is. Great facilities if nothing else. From what I remember, great school as well. read more

I teach lectures in this building and am impressed by its upkeep. The student personnel are fast, efficient, and really responsive when I'm locked out of my room or am missing supplies. Plus, the restrooms are kept really clean and I am giving this place 5 stars because I feel pretty comfortable dropping a deuce here. What more can you ask for from a public space? read more

The best part about student center is the pub. Literally the best food on campus and perhaps the most fun spot to chill during breaks with pitchers of delicious beer! Also extremely happy that they added an extra Bank of America atm. The line for the atms are usually such a hassle and long wait, but since the extra addition, it's sped up the process of getting cash! Student center is an awesome place to hang out, study, and watch events that are usually held there. read more

Free snacks during finals week. What more can you ask for?! Also, it is always kept clean! I have been to other schools' student centers and it pretty much looked like a pig stye :/ If you're part of a club and you need to rent out a room for a banquet or dance, the Student Center will hook you up with one! Even if you're not part of a club and need to rent one for a business meeting or what not, I highly recommend UCI's Student Center. ZOT ZOT ZOT. read more

We used the Student Center's Pacific Ballrooms for our wedding ceremony and reception. It was amazing. They helped us set up (we did a ton of DIY) and take down. They even helped us load our car back up! They went above and beyond by doing things our florist was supposed to do but never did. They were constantly there for us. I had emailed our coordinator questions like crazy. She always emailed me back promptly with fantastic responses. In the end, she made the rooms look great. I was so happy. All the little things that they did for us that day were unexpected and fantastic. There was a congratulations card in my getting ready room. Both of the ready rooms had emergency kits in them with everything you could need and chocolate! They really went above and beyond. It isn't a usual space that one thinks of when planning a wedding, but it worked well for us and our guests loved it as well. There is an adorable outdoor area for ceremonies in Aldrich Park. Since we were a January wedding, I chose not to use it, but it really is gorgeous. Plus you get a discount if you are alumni! read more

I have been to the UCI Student Center several times. The center is poorly designed, from its outdated decor to its inefficient use of space. The restrooms are typically dirty and the toilet paper is a thin, recycled 1-ply. read more

This is a beautiful building on campus! They have a number of ballrooms inside the student center that are used for special events and they are all spacious and clean. Also scattered throughout the building are study nooks and chairs. It's a good place to review material if you like white noise in the background. Overall it's a beautiful building with plenty of space and amenities for special events. read more

Came here to see my sister's Vagina Monologue performance. The seat capacity was pretty big and from where I was sitting I had a good view and could hear the performers. The bathrooms were nice and clean too. I didn't really have a chance to wander around though. read more

This is my alumni school! I love the area, especially since they added the extra shaded area when I graduated. It has a pretty medium size stage that most dancers and performers show off their talents. However, it has been a place where many crazy Christian people try to convert students. They stand with their stupid signs and tell me I am going to hell. If you could ignore the crazy Christian people and don't mind the large population of Asians, then this is the place for you. read more

Great services, free WiFi, and fantastic meeting rooms. The staff was friendly, the washroom facilities were clean, and was close to parking. All additional shops are closed Sunday , so remember to grab coffee before arriving. read more
