Winn Dixie grocery store located in Panama City beach Florida my family stopped in while on vacation for our weekly groceries. Being from Louisville where Winn Dixie disappeared what seems like 20 years ago the wife and I was excited to walk down some nostalgia by grocery shopping here. Prices here were pretty cheap and comparable to groceries back home. Well stocked aisles and easy to navigate. Overall a successful grocery run that brought back some childhood memories. read more

They have just about every single thing you need! My only concern is they are not set up as traditional Supermarkets, the organization of products is not conducive to the normal flow of shopping! Could not find Wine or Beer! read more

I will forever shop at this Winn Dixie! We are from Gainesville, GA and come down twice a year for extended stays! We love this Winn Dixie...(their wings are the best) but several weeks ago we purchased some tortilla chips that were most obviously rancid! My husband ate them thinking that if he covered them in salsa, they would be okay! Oh, was he sick! I took them back to the store! Tim, the store manager was phenomenal! I cannot say enough about how he handled us as customers! I was there a few weeks later and he saw me, remembered me and made his way to speak to me and apologize once again! We are Winn-Dixie customers for life!!! read more

Pretty decent grocery store with good selection. Visited for breakfast and walked out with fruit and probiotic watermelon juice. I don't have a sense of grocery price comparisons so I cant say that they are priced right, but will visit again due to vast selection of fruits and veggies. Actually had planned to after my beach time, but time got passed me. Customer service was on it. read more

This review is for the Winn Dixies on Thomas Dr in Panama City Beach, FL and 23rd Street in Panama City, FL. I need critical life dependent meds and with the recent shortages the insurance company cut me back drastically and my doctor's office was useless In helping med get the needed meds. The pharmacy managers in PCB and PC took the time to understand my dire situation and work together to solve the problems and secure the critically needed meds in a very timely and accuracy fashion. The really cared and were knowledge and professional unlike my doctor and insurance company. Hats off to them! read more

Super friendly folks always have a smile and are busy stocking shelves. No shortages to speak of. Good variety of products, with many coupons and specials. The BOGOs are really nice. The hot bar is well stocked and the wing bar is a hot, too. Good deli choices. The liquor store, though smallish is very well stocked. The WD brand tequila is pretty good too. The drink mixes have gone out of sight at $9 each. Savings are had by buying frozen juice and drink mixes. read more

Decent store with a nice selection. Some of the deals were great, except you needed their member's card in order to get those prices. Being in town for only a week, and not having Winn-Dixie back home, I wasn't about to go through the process of getting their card. I also wasn't going to fill a cart in hopes they'd have a card up front that they'd use for me to get the deals. So I left. Publix was next door and I knew I could get their deals without a card... Sorry Winn-Dixie - I tried, but it was too much overhead. read more

My first Winn-Dixie and it was great! I really just wanted to go because of the movie. But it was nice.

Had pork roasts on sale for .99 a lb but they were out on Saturday afternoon. Always low on stock, if it's on sale it's probably not going to be there. No seltzer except the expensive stuff. Had to go to Public to finish shopping. read more

This is the BEST Winn-Dixie EVER!! Everyone of the employees are so friendly and always willing to help me with whatever I need. The produce is always neatly arranged with prices. Very appealing. The whole store is clean; including the restrooms. I love the deli bar with the lunch specials and the chicken wing bar with a variety to choose from. Lovely people serving you. The Flower Department and personnel is the BEST among all the grocery store displays. Soooo glad you kept LaDonna Daniels to run that department. She's a jewel. She is very creative and her skills for making flower arrangements is awesome!!! She's the BEST on the beach. Better than the Winn-Dixie at the Y and in Panama City. Her expertise in decorating the whole store, really shows that she cares about her store and the people she serves. The Meat/Seafood Department is the BEST too. I love the seafood luncheons, cooked to your seasoning request; and the price for what you get; is a great deal. All the isles are stocked neatly with products with no trash, sand or scuff marks on the floors. The Manager, Johnny, is a very down to earth friendly man. He's always smiling when he speaks to me; and he always speaks to me. PLUS, he got my "Bama Mayonnaise" back on the shelves for sale for me. That saves me from going to Piggly Wiggly or Carousal (in Lagoona Beach) to buy it. Winn-Dixie is 5 minutes from where I live. It has great hours for my shopping pleasures. I've never seen an out of date product on the shelf. I will go out of my way, if need be, to shop at THIS Winn-Dixie, on Thomas Drive. Thanks Johnny, You're the BEST!!! Not sure why anyone would go here over Publix which is literally right next to it. Rude employees, dirtier environment, worse lighting and everything seems under done. Not a terrible option overall but I'm just not sure how it remains open. read more

I hardly ever go into Winn Dixie....we go in here from time to time if we are over in the area. But the other day I was needing a cake made at the last minute and she did it. I had talked to this lady Pam in the bakery who helped me so much and did a very awesome job. I am not just saying this. Everywhere I have been to have a cake made is not good or they don't have this or that.. Walmart or publix they have dry cakes and over charge for decorating and flowers Walmart on the beach this sweet girl had no idea what she was doing. Told me she didn't know if it would look like this picture I showed her. She could not write like that. So I made a call to Winn Dixie to see if I can have a cake made and what it looked liked and that I needed it the next day and she said yes we can help you just come to the store.That is when I went to Winn Dixie and was relieved and Pam helped me with my cake order. She is a amazing and sweet lady. Very helpful and just awesome person. I had been worried I was not going to be able to get a cake made in time for my mothers birthday. She did everything so perfect and in such little time that I was almost in tears when I seen the cake. I had went back to the store with a thank you card to give to her. There are not many nice people out there anymore that are willing to help and she did. read more
