I purchased the gas and had to pay $.49 for ice in my own cup yet I watched a man purchased a bag of ice and get 6 cups free! I called corporate, and they said yes cups are free but you pay for ice .. so get your free cup from Holiday and you can get your free ice from speedway!! The manager actually told me to go to Speedway and get my free ice there! Excellent customer service- NOT!! Corporate said she was right! I'm now officially done with Holiday stores.

About a month ago I went into speedway with $1,000 and asked their employees if they did cash app…read moredeposits there I was told yes and I said do you know what the limit is? They said oh! It's whatever. If it doesn't go through then you'll just get your money back so after five or six times of me saying to them. Don't do this if you don't know what you're doing and if you aren't 100% positive because I can't be without $1,000 right now. This is for bills and was reassured over and over again. Oh no problem, we do it all the time.....well, you guessed it. ... They didn't know what they were doing. So not only did my deposit not go through but they made $1,000 disappear into their Bank... Jenna, the manager was called and her answer was to issue me two $500 money orders and I asked her are these easily cashable she said. Sure you can go to any Walmart or any Cub foods or the post office... 5 days later and an $80 fee that came out of my pocket, I finally was able to cash their MoneyGram money orders which I find out MoneyGram doesn't even honor their own money orders. They won't cash them... So just got off the phone with corporate in Enon, Ohio. Spoke with Tracy, So even though I went to 10 different stores over 4 days time, two post offices, And in the end the only place that would catch them was the unbank and speedway would not take the money orders back. So after all of the trouble that I went through gas time watching Checks bounce or bills autopay going through and hundreds of dollars in losses. Their answer is you'll have to go to unbank to get your money reimbursed... I don't know. Maybe it's just the way the world, but if I took $1,000 from you they called that Grand theft, If you're speedway it's out of their hands, nothing they can do about it. That's what was told to me. Garbage response. Jenna and Derek branch manager or a local higher up than Jenna. Neither one of them would give me a number of a person that could speak to about this either in HR or at corporate. They ignored my phone calls. Didn't respond to my text. I've given them photocopies of the expense. Also no response. I will never get gas from speedway ever again. In fact I'll never even step into a store. Don't get me wrong. People are human people make mistakes. It's what you do about the mistake that's been made. That's what separates a good company from just another company that doesn't take responsibility when they're untrained unexperienced employees screw up... In the end the customer gets screwed. I guess that's their policy at speedway.

I appreciate their honesty and the fact that they don't call me "sweetheart" when I walk in the door. I appreciate their recommendations like "If you're just driving around town, this will be fine, but if you're traveling out of state, you need this fixed," and "We could fix this now but it won't negatively affect your brakes and it would cost you a lot of money. They do have firewood and propane tanks/exchange station. There is also free air available for your tires. That being said, this is my local gas station. It has a familiar "Mom and Pop shop" feel. All of the times I have been here they have shown great customer service and positive attitude.
