It's quiet and cozy and seems that the shops are quite specialized, many items feeling more like small gifts you may wish to give rather than items one would purchase and keep in their own possessions. The event organizers arranged for free coffee, treats and a wine bar by Princess and Bear. The lower level was mostly designer clothes, candles, crafts etc. The upper level was mostly home goods. If you are looking to decorate your place, the showrooms feature some amazing pieces. I would suggest talking to the designers and perhaps showing them your current setting for best results. Be prepared to shell out serious moolah as the quality is impeccable and perhaps one of a kind. Don't be afraid to negotiate a fair price. Nothing here is cheaply made. In fact, the showrooms are quite impressive. The sample sale though was less impressive and largely an inventory reduction sale. Prepare to spend an entire afternoon on everything furniture, lighting, rugs, home decor etc. You will certainly find mid-century modern mixed in with classic and contemporary pieces. I ordered the (black bean) vegan burger and a side of coleslaw. The patty on the burger was barely room temperature and immediately fell apart when I took a bite. The condiments were sparse and underwhelming. After two bites I tossed it. The coleslaw tasted like shredded cabbage with plain mayo; the sweet and tart flavors normally associated with proper coleslaw dressing were nonexistent. I am puzzled how any gourmet burger restaurant could botch a burger (and coleslaw) so badly. Based on this disastrous experience I will never eat at another Blazing Onion restaurant.

Since it was such a popular movie, I decided to buy tickets online and pay the two dollar and 50 Cent convenience fee. As I selected my seats, I saw there was a limited number of seats to select from. I figured that only a certain number of seats in the stadium-style were available to be reserved, and if we didn't like those seats we would just sit somewhere and reserved. We were extremely surprised and happy to see that we had amazing seats with lots of room and that our seats reclined and The leg portion Were able to be adjusted individually with the help of electric buttons. We also had movable trays to hold our drinks and anything else. This took your theater is set up so that you don't even see the people in the rows in front of you or behind you. Our tickets for this particular theater cost three dollars more than they would have for the theater in our town, which doesn't even have stadium seating. It was well worth the few extra dollars and will be hard to go back to regular seating, stadium or otherwise!! I ordered tickets for later in the week for my daughter and son-in-law to go out for a date night while I watched my grandson. They were equally impressed and really enjoyed it. I like the Uptown Gig Harbor theater in general and this particular Theater is amazing! The cost was $14.75 to see Star Wars in 3-D. All of the previews were also in 3-D. And if you haven't seen Star Wars, I highly recommend seeing it and seeing it in 3-D in The comfort of this particular screening room.

Be sure to walk around and explore the entire floor, as there are more than double the amount of space/seats than what I expected initially, just on the first floor. Unfortunately, most of the seats are not equipped with outlets for charging, but the seats are comfy and make a great place to sit down and study or read. I also went upstairs to find even more couch/comfy chairs. The background music is a bit louder on the second floor but people are quieter and there is less commotion there. There are gender neutral bathrooms on both floors, but you need to ask for access at the security desk on the second floor. The security staff were nice and they printed out and gave me a sheet with a QR code that grants access to the restrooms for a few hours.

It uniquely links 11th, 12th, with Pike on Capitol Hill since 2018 (5/30/23). I am fond of urban architecture, but in ways that helps preserve the historical bones of the structure and continues to contribute to the neighborhood. Best summed up from an excerpt from the Dunn & Hobbes website, "Chophouse Row puts the "mixed" in "mixed-use", featuring state-of-the-art creative office space, an extensive retail marketplace and residential penthouses in the heart of the Pike-Pine neighborhood of Capitol Hill. The project combines the historic Chophouse building, built as an auto parts store in 1924 and used for decades as iconic band practice space, with a new office tower that features open plan workspaces with floor to ceiling windows and exposed steel structure. Salvaged materials were used throughout and the building features highly sustainable energy and water systems. A pedestrian mews and mid-block courtyard connects Chophouse Row through to Dunn & Hobbes' other 12th Avenue Marketplace properties." I do miss shuttered businesses such as Amandine, By Tae, Petti-Rosso, and Kurt Farm Shop, but I enjoy revisiting to see what new businesses have taken their place and newer ones to wander through. A big plus is the juxtaposition of the surrounding mixed materials and the sky above. It brings out my inner photographer. Also, the open courtyard is a great getaway especially during warmer months with their variety of outdoor seating and even during crisp autumn evenings when the firepit is lit.

Thank local artwork, hand blown glass pieces, jewelry, home decor, and a bunch of quirky things you didn't know you needed until you see them. The store feels a bit like a small art gallery mixed with a gift shop. There are beautiful paintings on the walls, colorful glass pieces hanging from the ceiling. (See pics, the jellyfish was absolutely STUNNING) Somebody please buy this for Cody!!! I went in thinking I'll just take a quick look, then suddenly I had spent twenty minutes wandering around noticing new things on every shelf. If you're visiting Bainbridge, or even a local you must definitely stop in. It's a great spot to find something unique and a good reminder of how creative the local artist community is on Bainbridge! Everyone was so friendly and I found the cutest little souvenirs, I picked up a magnet and ornament for next years Christmas trees. The prices are really fair and my little gifts to myself are actually nicely made, definitely worth the cost. They have a couple stores connected so there are fun photos, clothes and definitely Bainbridge/Seattle and Washington souvenirs. Definitely check them out when you're on the island.
