We went to a Winston-Salem Dash mainly for the Christmas carol drone show, and it ended up being such a great night. The stadium has a fun, family-friendly vibe, and everything felt well organized from start to finish. Staff were friendly, lines moved quickly, and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The drone show was the highlight--seriously impressive. It was creative, smooth, and way more entertaining than I expected. You could tell a lot of effort went into it, and the crowd was fully into it. A perfect way to cap off the evening.

Had a blast at the baseball game! Parking is only $12 and gives you access to the stadium. Once you get inside, there's plenty to do. There's so many food options and they even have a merry-go-round for the children to enjoy. The seats are easy to find and comfortable. The food prices are expensive, but that's to be expected and keep in mind. The food isn't that good but the treats are! It's a really good game and non stop entertainment.

Our town is lucky to have a baseball team and stadium. This is a safe, fun place to bring your kids that won't break the bank. Kids under 14 can run the bases after every game. They have them nights and food you'd eat. Is the baseball super competitive? No - but it's fun to watch and you never know which player could end up being a superstar one day. The mascot is awesome btw! Staff is super friendly too. Baseball is fun!

I have reviewed Dash before, but wanted to do so again after last nights event (Aug 1st). Our team rented out Suite 16 for the game. It was a really really enjoyable evening with food, drinks, laughter, and of course baseball. Our group had a really wonderful time. Our suite staff were Chelsea M. And Beverly and they took very good care of us. They were diligent, respectful, and enjoyable to work with throughout the evening. Our team was served chicken wings and as much as I wish I didn't have to say it, they were disappointing. The chicken was overcooked and dry and needed to be smothered in sauce to really be edible. I think they would've been pretty good if they hadn't been overcooked. Besides the chicken, everything else was amazing! We wish the dash would've have ended the night with a win, but we still really enjoyed watching them play! Thank you to our suite staff for taking such good care of us last night!

The stadium, the food, all of it ! We love going on Thursdays because it's pups in the park and thirsty Thursday deals! Be sure to check out the Philly cheesesteak and the flaming hot Cheeto corndog (my personal favorites)

The most amazing games ever! Such a great idea! We loved our time at the Truist Stadium yesterday!

Opening night at BB&T Ballpark to see the Winston-Salem Dash. I love minor league baseball. Summary - Great seats - Decent food selection - Crowd was energetic - Beer was cold - Fireworks at the end of the game were great The great thing about minor league teams is they really try hard to earn your business with all of the extra stuff they do. Always a great family atmosphere. Only down side was the Dash lost the game. I'll be back. Highly recommend.

The Dash is my favorite part of summer! The games are always the absolute most fun. Everyone seems happy to be there and the staff are excellent. We love sitting upstairs in the founders club and enjoying the always delicious buffet from whomever is hosting it that evening. Food, beer and baseball... what more could a girl want on a hot summer night? I already miss it since the season ended a few weeks ago. See y'all next year!

The Dash has been a consistent part of my life since I moved to Winston-Salem from NY five years ago. When I worked at Lowes Foods, they were always partnering with the company where employees like myself enjoyed perks like free games, food, drinks, and occasionally the one-off events like meeting Richard Petty and being the venue of our annual company award nights. It was a great way to bond with coworkers as we got a suite to enjoy a game together when I worked at Airtype. In my personal life, I've been lucky to win party deck tickets twice and brought friends and family to enjoy games in the past. Tickets are otherwise very affordable, the stadium is clean, and Bolt the Mascot was always very interactive with fans. He surprised me one day when I was watching the game and he put his arm over my shoulder. I love mascots and he was very nice about taking a photo with me! One year I even watched Fireworks here! There's always something fun to do here for all ages and I'm looking forward to being able to go back to catch another game when it's safe to again.

Great overall experience. The stadium is beautiful and tickets are affordable. The baseball is hit or miss, but it is Single A ball. You can find a lot of a special event nights where they have drink specials and fireworks (check the website). Great for families. There a lot of corporate events as well. The parking is convenient out front or you can park near downtown if you don't mind walking.

So let me answer some questions I had. Call with anything you have to ask, as the staff is very friendly and competent in answering. It is the same ticket price for all (in said section price you choose), other than toddlers -- they are free. Parking? Well, you know how it goes, so get there early. Lots get coned off after game starts, even with open spaces. Park at your own risk. The playground is beside the batting cage. They have a bouncy house that is attended but there is no one to attend and "injury guard" at the playground. The kids are unruly, no parents in sight. And I mean, if they were? -- I didn't let my kids play there tonight. Seating aisles are very tight, like, old school stadium tight. Other than playground, I have no major qualms, but this is not the stadiums fault. I guess? Would have just liked to have a little bit of refereeing. Food is your good ol' classics. Would like to see some growth, but there is a great up and coming food mall right next door, Blessing Park (I think). Which also provides a splash park, this is explained on the website. Everything entree, side, & adult bevs pretty much runs about $8, of course snacks a bit cheaper. Beside the HPU vintage section, you may enjoy cocktails and wine, as well in a bit more relaxed and roomy environment. Very clean facility; maintenance working the whole time with smiling faces and happy to converse. Friendly staff and volunteers all around. Merchant shop and the High Pint both super awesome. Rock out!

Beyond just the looks of everything being pristine and new, the stadium has a good amount of amenities for a smaller park, specials on ticket packages for many occasions, and some decent food. I've been to three games here, and each time was very happy with my seats. Right now, most games have a lot of seats available, so once you're in you can kind of maneuver to get the angle you want. Either way, you won't find a bad seat in the house, and in the outfield there is plenty of room for standing and watching as well. The Rockers are an independent baseball club, meaning they aren't a farm team for a major league program. There are several interesting things about this, chief of which is that you'll see guys with MLB experience mixed in with guys who have never played at a level higher than this one. Scores can get out of control sometimes, but two of the three games I attended were played close and relatively clean. Finally, with independent baseball, remember the team has to support itself financially in full. Some items are more expensive than at affiliated clubs, but nothing at least to my eye, is outrageous. Last thing, on fireworks nights, thanks to the turf field... they let the fans out onto the field to watch the show! That is a really cool experience, and one that you won't want to miss if you have kids that are learning about baseball.

On a visit to the Charlotte/Kannapolis/Concord area to visit all of the NASCAR Team…read moreGarages/Headquarters, Penske Racing was our fifth stop of day two, and our eighth team overall. We visited Penske this past summer, on a Friday afternoon in July. It is located in Mooresville on its own campus. The garage is situated fairly close to the other racing teams in Mooresville, so you will be able to visit all of them without much travel. It is quite a large facility, and has a dedicated parking lot with lots of space. The entrance for visitors is clearly marked with "Guest Entrance" above the doors. At the time of our visit, there were several other racing fans both in the team store and on the "Fan Walk," but it was not crowded. Penske has two levels. The entrance takes you right into the team store on the first level. Both within and behind the team store is an area with race win trophies and other historical items. The garage is located behind this area, but the viewing for the garage is above, on the second floor "Fan Walk." The review is further broken down into categories below: Displays/Museums/Historical Items - 5/5 Rating There are a plethora of displays, trophies, banners, and other race memorabilia throughout the Penske facility. The race win trophies are located within the team store, and into a hallway-type area in the rear. They are placed around the perimeter, and are out in the open for fans to get close looks and even touch. Additionally, there are die casts and other historical items behind glass to take a look at. Around the "Fan Walk" on the second level, there are banners from team Cup, Indy, and IMSA race wins hung around the perimeter. They are organized chronologically. I personally enjoyed looking at all of the pictures that are incorporated into these banners. Within the actual garage, they have current and legacy cars to see, as well as the original enclosed transporter that the team used in the 1970s, which was recovered and restored after originally being sold by the team. Out of all of the teams we visited, this collection is by far the most curated. Team Store - 4/5 Rating As stated, you will walk right into the team store when you enter the facility. It is a larger store, and there is an overall good amount of merchandise. All of their drivers were represented in the items for sale, including Indy and IMSA. They had more expensive items, as well as smaller items that only cost a few dollars. Some items for sale included t-shirts, magnets, cups, die casts, hats, and sponsor-specific items. Also, there were some items on sale. For die casts, there were both 1:64 and 1:24 sizes of various cars. Overall, the store is larger than most team shops, and there is a decent selection. Garage Access - 5/5 Rating Penske truly gives the most unique and all-inclusive access to their garage and facilities. From the team store, there are stairs/an elevator up to the "Fan Walk," where guests can walk the entire length of their garage from above. There is an area in the rear that is somewhat blocked from view, but you are still able to see 20+ cars that are either displays, physically being worked on, or are used for hauling/haulers. There are even offices, conference rooms, and other facilities in the middle of the garage to take a look at. Even with our visit falling on the Friday of a race weekend, there were still several cars being worked on for us to see. This is one of, if not the best garage access of all of the teams we visited. Overall Access - 4/5 Rating The overall access at Penske is very good. The garage access is at about 90%. Not only that, but just the variety of vehicles and items that guests have access to viewing is impressive. This is only rated 4/5 due to there being parts that are blocked from public view. However, this is above average access when compared to other teams. Extras - 5/5 Rating Something that sets Penske apart, and therefore is an "extra," is that they include their Indy Car and IMSA in all aspects of the facility - from the banners, to the displays, and even in the team store. Since they are the only NASCAR team that has Indy and IMSA teams, they are the only ones who have the ability to offer this extra. Additionally, they had Hero Cards in an organizer by the team store entrance that were free to take. The selection was diverse, especially since they include all drivers from NASCAR, Indy, and IMSA. Penske is a must-visit if you are planning to stop at the NASCAR team garages. The facilities are some of the best we saw, the garage access is top-notch, and you could spend a significant amount of time looking at all of the banners, trophies, and other items. Plus, you will be able to see all of the drivers under the Penske umbrella in the different racing series. We very much enjoyed the visit here, and recommend stopping if you find yourself near Mooresville.
