Again, another good repair…read more They replaced the A/C compressor in my old Ford pickup (with almost 300,000 miles on it) a couple of weeks ago. It worked well, then one day, no cooling.... I took the pickup back for a re-check. They found a leak on the new installation, replaced "O" rings, checked and re-charged the system. The pickup was in and out of the shop quickly. There WAS NO CHARGE for the repair. I can not express the good quality work Juan , Emanuel and the guys have done for my high-mileage vehicles. That trip to Precision was 3,400 (mostly labor costs) but I was hopeful the issue had been fixed, despite being confused as to how it could possibly be ready so quickly. 5 days later, the same coolant light came back on. The man that answers and works the front desk is gifted when it comes to talking in circles. He basically said "well, it's a car. Who knows why the light is back on. Bring it back." So I did. This trip was $300 for them to "fix" whatever they missed 5 days before. I was supposed to feel grateful that they didn't charge me for diagnostics on this second visit. One month later, the same light is back on. Major leak still in my coolant system. Car is undrivable. I had my car towed to bmw this morning. I should have just done that in the first place. This business isn't what it used to be and they clearly no longer have a mechanic that is familiar with bmws. After going here for 15 years, myself, family and friends that drive European cars will never return. I've contacted the BBB and my attorney in regards to getting my 3700 back.

After asking a few people for recommendations, I decided on Sam Moore's. A few days after I dropped the car off, I was called with a diagnosis and a quote. Whereas the dealership was quoting me $7K to $10K for a broken head gasket or cracked cylinder head, they diagnosed me with a clogged fuel injector and a $550 repair!
