Beware of their bait and switch tactic…read more.. I was a patient here and was given a total of 1,600 dollars. The showed me all the breakdowns of the totals. I was never told that this procedure would cost more, or that the1,600 dollars was an "estimate" according to them. So I signed the contract for 1,600 and I had to ask them to try my insurance to help with the 1,600 and they said they would do it's a "courtesy" mind you I had to run my credit to apply for care credit for the "1,600" as I was told. Weeks go by and I get a letter in the mail saying after they ran my insurance, I now owe almost 1,400 more on top of the 1,600?! Very shady bait and switch and I was never ever told that it was going to be more then 1,600 even after I signed the dotted line saying 1,600. They repeatedly said they would call and follow up with insurance, but they didn't. We had to constantly chase them down ourselves just to get updates. After finally getting approved, they scheduled my procedure a month in advance--only to call the day before and cancel, saying the dentist was sick. They also said they couldn't reschedule at that time. What made things worse is when we called back with Medi-Cal on the line, they gave a completely different reason, saying the dentist had a family emergency. They couldn't even keep their story straight. This level of disorganization, lack of communication, and inconsistency is unacceptable--especially when patients are waiting months for necessary care. I would not recommend this office.

The day of the extraction, I was at the office for an hour in total (consultation + extraction). After taking a quick panoramic x-ray, I decided to go with local anesthesia and only felt mild pressure during the procedure. No stitches were needed and I was sent home with gauze & instructions to pickup a mouthwash from my local pharmacy.
