I came here on Saturday 1/4 at around 12:45 pm and needed to get a full set. I've been to this particular nail salon a couple times in the past and had no complaints. I showed the nail tech my inspo pic (right picture) -- I told her that I just wanted the brown french tip on almond nails, something simple that I thought would be easy to recreate. Unfortunately, the results (left picture) did not meet my expectations. The nail tech drew the french tips in a "V" shape, which wasn't what I asked for. At the time, I didn't think much of it and thought maybe it'd be something that I would eventually grow into. It wasn't until I got home when I realized that I was not happy with my nails no matter how much I look at it. On the bright side, the salon wasn't busy, so I didn't feel rushed. However, that makes it more frustrating because there should have been plenty of time getting those simple french tips as shown. Later that evening, I ended up going to another salon in Vallejo to have my nails repainted, which was an extra expense but way better. I really wanted to love my nails, but this experience was disappointing, and i'm hesitant to come back. read more

The lady who did my nails did a good job BUT tried to overcharge me for something I did NOT request. I chose a $50 solid gel pedicure that I vocalized I wanted and pointed to on menu itself so there's no confusion. Why did they try to charge me $80 so casually? Today is the last time my mom and I will ever patron here. Not because of their work on the nails but for the disrespectful comment in their native language. If they have ever made you feel like they were talking about you as a customer in their native language, you're probably right. On my first visit, I was fat shamed, and today, I was fat shamed for the 2nd time. I decided to address it after the lady felt that I didn't tip well enough. My blood boiled, and I counter her comments, letting her know I understood what she said as I was vietnamese as well. Of course, she denied it and said I misunderstood. As she deflected, I continued to let her know she had lost our business and would never spend our money here again. Customers want to leave the nail shop feeling beautiful and not to leave feeling ashamed or ugly. read more

i went there to do manicure gel and the lady do my manicure look like she doesn't know how to do she old and doesn't speak english and her sister took my hand to do help her and they keep talking in vietnamese like she teaching her how to do and she very rush but the shop not really busy why? i come to get my nails done not come for you practice on my nails your nails shop name perfect nails but you work not so perfect do not rush on customer hand like that again that so rude for your service like that im come to enjoy not to rushing. i hope it won't happen again to other people read more

Really good service! I made it to my appointment this morning for a full acrylic set, I was unsure of this place just because I've never been here before, and I'm usually very picky about how I want them shaped/filed. I walked in, told her the color of my dress and the occasion I'm getting them done for, she tells her co worker what to do, and I was surprised with something I ended up loving. They Match perfectly to my dress, and I'm very satisfied with the communication they give. Everyone was so nice and easy to carry a conversation with. Not to mention the prices are very responsible. If I could give no stars I would! These ladies are rude. I walked in and they appeared nice. I asked for a full set, they kept trying to get me to do Gel. I said NO. Their attitude completely changed. I selected what I wanted, which was silver glitter tips with powder . She use paint instead, painted my whole nail. I mention not what I want. She tells me "charge more for powder" continues to paint my nails. One coat and one coat clear. Tells me I'm done. No lotion nothing. My nails are rough and bubbly. I tried taking a picture. It came out blurry. She also made me bleed with the electric filed thing. I was so ashamed of my nails. I keep hiding my hands. This was my first time doing ombré nails, and the first color was too pink for my skin tone, so another nail tech came over to find the perfect base to match my skin tone (caramel 12) and I love them so much! Came to get my nails done here a few times and was happy. Today was the opposite experience. They were very rude, when they removed the set they had done previously I had a fungus in two of my nails. The nails were sore and they were being very ruff. When they put the new set on I showed the length and shape I wanted. I was distracted trying to pick a color and look up to see a very ugly short uneven shape. When I asked her to fix she said it would be an hour wait. After already being here for over an hour. Sweating because there's no air conditioner and flies swarming you. I said I didn't have an hour. So she said go somewhere else. Very unfortunate because I thought I found my nail salon home. I used to be a loyal customer to this nail salon. I won't be returning anymore. I should have went to my normal spot, but I was pressed for time and figured might as well since I still had my stamp card. The guy that started on my pedicure was definitely not trained for this line of work. He cut my toe nails crooked (not a steady hand), didn't shape them well (almost all are square) and pulled on my cuticles to take them out. He didn't use any cuticle softener either. It was so bad that mid way in the middle of my pedi another girl took over and finished it. Honestly just wish she just did it from the start cause at least she knew how to shape a nail. So now my left foot has box toes where my right toe nails are shaped. I also opted for a mango pedicure for $40 which had the benefit of the paraffin wax. But I didn't get much of a massage as in less than three minutes per leg. It was such a joke. My massage gun I have at home does a better job. And the nail polish is also quite old because she had to put on at least three coats for the color to come through which made it thick. It was a waste of my time and money. I'm happy I found a better spot than this place. I will happily take my business elsewhere. Save your hard earned money and find another nail salon. Trust me. read more

She literally used the same nail clip to cut my nail that her co worker was using right next to each other. The pedicures are wonderful and relaxing with massage chairs. But when I had my nails done they both seemed to be rushed jobs. I prefer when they take their time and make sure your entire nails are covered correctly and this was not the case both times. But I didn't realize it until I was at home checking them out. EDIT: Day 8 and I'm 3 nails down... if that's not enough for you to stay away consider that they don't sanitize anything before you come in. ***Day 6 and one of my nails is polish free. I was sweeping the floor and heard a crunch. I picked it up and it was a WHOLE NAIL of dip polish. Don't do it. Tried this place once and never again. I decided to try dip for the first time and it didn't even last a week. I showered and one FULL nail is now back to my natural nail. I only realized when I was changing. What a frustrating experience I've had here. First of all I had a hard time communicating with the young lady doing my nails. I tried hard to explain what shape I wanted for my nails and she just didn't understand. I came back to have them reshaped to be all uniform. Second, for a dip manicure I noticed that their tools aren't sanitary. They just have them in a drawer and reuse it. I'm glad I didn't end up getting cut cause that would have been a nightmare. Third, the dip manicure didn't come with any sort of massage or even lotion. Now I'm new to dip but after filing I thought I would have to rinse my nails at some point and apply lotion at least, but nope. Fourth, why did she put gel on top of the dip? My nails ended up being thick and I kept telling her THIN please and she kept saying okay don't worry. Fifth, the girl kept getting my skin when filing with the spinning file. I kept saying ouch and pulling my hand and she kept going. This is honestly the worst manicure experience I've ever had. I wish I had a different experience. But sadly I'll NEVER come back. $55 down the drain. Please learn from my horrible experience. read more

I'm always coming in with random requests and she's always willing to give them a try. My nail lady no longer works here and the lady I had do my nail (dip manicure) which is very straightforward left so much space between my cuticle and the dip that it looks like I already need them done again! When California allowed salon services, my mom and I were very excited to see that this place was open. My mom and I need a lot of TLC when it comes to our pedicures and we've been to a few salons in American Canyon that we like, but I especially like the way they do gel pedicures. Jenny is very sweet and she does an EXCELLENT job at fixing my big toenail. It got stepped on many years ago, fell off, and never grew back normal and getting a pedicure to make it look good was a struggle up until I went to this nail salon. My grandma has dementia but we take her here to get a mani pedi and the staff are also very sweet and patient with her. Love this place! read more

I was already in the area and I noticed this nail salon so I figured I'd walk in and see if they had any appointments available for a pedicure. I was very confused on entry as she was already asking me to write my name down and phone number. I get this for contact tracing and such, it makes sense. I was asking how long the wait would be and all they would tell me was to sit down and wait. I figured I wasn't in a rush anyways so I sat down and within a few moments I was taken back to a pedicure chair. They provided me with the samples of colors and I picked a gel glittery pink. She got the color I noticed that it was nothing like what was advertised and got a pink to put under the glitter(she did not even consult me in regards to the under pink or ask if I liked her selection). Here's where things start to take a turn. As she was tending to my feet she clipped off skin around my toes excessively to the point where I flinched and she apologized to me on several occasions. Then she blamed me because I have such small toenails. While I was sitting in the chair getting my pedicure she had received a phone call for an appointment. The woman wanted a 630 appointment and was specifying certain details and wanted to spell her name the technician wearing the banana apron who seems to run things hung up on her and laughed. When my toes were finally finished they weren't even the same color and the gel polish was so thick that it basically popped off in a matter of days. I mentioned this to her and she blamed me for picking a thick glitter. In my personal opinion if this was thick and she knew such she should've explained this to me and maybe provided me with alternative options. I can definitely say without any question that I will never be back at this facility. It seemed shady and the employees were extremely rude. I've been getting pedicures done for 20+ years and I've never had such a bad experience. I do have small toes. I have small dainty feet. I had a very bad experience at this Salon with Vicky today. I went on 7/23 for a dip powder manicure as well, but today's experience was horrible. I left the nail salon feeling attacked. It's a shame that a service, which is supposed to be relaxing, was stressful and disappointing. It felt as is if our business was not wanted. I continued to be respectful because of positive experiences I've had with previous associates, but Vicky was extremely rude/ aggressive today. I made an appointment for dip powder and a pedicure today, Vicky did the service. It seemed like she didn't want to do the service from the beginning .. She began using a dip power container and mixed it with a liquid (as if she were doing a full set). I asked her why the need to mix with a liquid for only a dip powder service -- she stated to make the manicure "last longer." I advised her that I requested a dip powder, not a full set. My nails were coming out very bubbly. Vicky became aggressive and grabbed my hand to file the manicure down. I stated to her that my nails had a lot of bubbles/ bumps in them (which I had mentioned 3x before). She advised me that they would go away after she files. Vicky grabbed my hand while laughing, and stated "I will foil your nails to remove them because you keep complaining... you can leave and care back to have a man help you tomorrow ." I mentioned to her that I had already been sitting for 2 hours.. She then abruptly began filing my nails, and during that process she cut me with the electric file... Needles to say, she then began to speak nicely after she had cut me. My hand began to shake and she could see that I was in pain.. My husband also was sitting next to me for a pedicure and felt that she was being very mean/ aggressive from the beginning of the service. It was not a nice experience with Vicky unfortunately. It is a shame because the other staff members are very respectful and polite. read more

My last and final encounter was with one of the nail techs where I showed her a reference picture (from their OWN business yelp review) and she did a horrible job. It wasn't even close to it. She was really rude as well and she had the nerve to charge me 40$ for their SNS that looked very unprofessional. I told the manager and she blamed me and told me to come back tomorrow to get it fixed. Ended up just getting sns French tips and never would I get sns again. It doesn't look right at all.
