Extremely bad for simple French tip. Had to go across the street to get them redone / fixed. Really disappointed.

Went here for the first time today and asked for square yellow French tip and this is what they did. The clear acrylic under looks terrible. The yellow French tip is so messy and not thick enough to cover my nails / tips underneath? Nails look bubbly and not clean and neat. Dee did a great job on my nails! I love the shape, I had pointy acrylic almond nails before and I didn't like how they were shaped, so I came in to get them fixed. They were too pointy and round for my liking. I let Dee know how I wanted them and he fixed them up exactly like I wanted and I love them! He also worked with me on picking colors and I loved his free hand design, I just showed him a picture and he made it happen!

My rating is a complete zero! I have been getting my nails done regularly every 2-4weeks for most my adult life. I have gone to different nails shops all over the Bay Area, and Not once have I ever experienced a problem like this or pain this bad, except for child birth, and getting my wisdom teeth pulled. These pictures were taken 10 days after getting my nails done there at Luxury Nail and Spa. The one falling off has been like this for four days already, and I am too much of a baby to pull it off, because it hurts so bad. No ones nails should ever be ripped completely off ever. This makes no sense. Obviously they must be using MMA acrylic powder because it's cheaper. "The use of MMA is not illegal for no reason; according to the United States Department of Labor, the industrial use of MMA has been associated with adverse health effects in some people, including irritation of the eyes, nose, throat, and respiratory tract. Repeated exposure resulted in drowsiness, dizzy spells, and trembling of the hands. As if that's not bad enough, prolonged usage may contribute to nail damage and deformities in nail growth. Permanent loss of the nail plate and loss of sensation in the fingertips have also been reported. Worst case scenario? It can incur potential miscarriages, kidney lesions, liver problems, and permanent respiratory issues--including cancer." There is no zero option to rate my expierence and the level of unprofessionalism they provided to me as a whole is shameful.

This was my first time here. I got there at 12:45 pm I wasn't greeted. I said i wanted to take off and get a new set. He says to take a seat. Without saying how long it would be before someone would start on me. I sat there for ten minutes and asked him how long it would be? He says 5-10 minutes. I waited 30 minutes total. Another man comes up to me and says "you wanted pedicure"? I say "no, I'm taking off and getting a new set"! By this time I'm annoyed. I finally sit in the chair and I'm waiting another ten minutes. I ask the lady at the table next to me about how much longer??? The first man says loudly "i have no control over how long it takes the technicians to finish. And if i like i can come back later". I told him "no i can't come back later I'm here now!! Few minutes later a lady starts on me. And she asked me if I'm getting a fill!? No communication at all with each unless there talking about us!! About 2 or 3 different people were working on my nails. Don't know why. Around 2:40 pm she asked me to wash my hands no soap. Not sure how you wash something without soap. So i go rinse my hands. She paints them and I'm not out of there until 3:25pm. I gave two stars because i like how they turned out. Working where you depend on customers to make a living you need to have better customer service skills!!! Probably won't come back. Definitely not on the weekend. Bad experience for a first time!!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]i was a walk in and asked if there was availability for a pedicure and they said yes and told me to go sit in one of the salon chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When the woman came over to do my nails, she didn't put water for soaking and started right away clipping my toes. i should have said something sooner but i thought they may do it different here since i do not live in Vallejo. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She ended up just painting my nails. When i asked why she didn't do a full pedicure and if i asked for something different, she told me they said i wanted a color change. Never said that[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. She did a good job on the nail clip and polish and she did offer to start over and I said no and paid and left. I would not recommend for walk in service read more

I've been going here for years for pedicures. They have the best pricing on they give you a really good massage. I believe it's 65 for a full pedicure with wax. Highly recommend. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really liked the other lady who did my pedicure last time but I don't remember her name.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So this other older woman did my pedicure and it was so bad. I wish I took a closer look before leaving but was in a hurry to my other appointment.. Wasted money on a half ass gel pedicure. She didn't even coat the entire toenail on the other toes and one is peeling off already in this picture. It will peel when it's painted like this. .Gosh I really want my wasted time and money back. read more

Lazy pedicure. Poor polishing of my toes. The technician did not go back to my cuticles It's always a bad sign when you walk into a nail shop on Friday and there's only one other customer aside from yourself. Years ago I enjoyed their services and felt the quality of work was wonderful not anymore. I took my two daughters and niece there less than a week ago paid way to much for trouble work not one of us walked out happy should have just left but took a chance I already need a new set my daughters both do as well and my nieces gel polish is already off oh and I have three crooked nails not. If You pay over $100 for rhinestones that cost under $5.00 for a pack of them you are a fool. THESE NAIL SHOPS ARE BECOMING OVER PRICED AND THEY ARE THROWING OUT RANDOM PRICES. Just finished with my manicure with the person sitting second to the last chair near the back gate. Didn't catch her name, but 5 of my fingers cuticles were cut too deep where it started to bleed and right thumb skin on the top edge she cut a chunk off as well. She is not gentle, but when it comes to painting the color wise she is doing that part right. -1 Star for not being gentle and while cutting my cuticles she was looking on the opposite site of my direction- not even focused on me. I had a secondary who helped me with my manicure for the design that I've chosen- which was a white gel marble design. No cons there, but only pro is that she nicely drew the lines for the design. Cons: When I walked in and was seated down- the first thing I heard was them talking about me in Vietnamese. It's not badly ill of me, but the fact that there was some comments I didn't enjoy hearing was -1 Star for them even talking about their customers. read more

Extremely disappointed after nearly 4hrs and $75 later! I spent 2-1/2hrs the first visit gel mani and gel Pedi. Had to return the next day because the polish was peeling within the very next hour! I ended up with a different color on my hands and feet! I explained that I wanted to change the color on my feet as well. The reason the tech gave me for peeling so quickly is the polish! Well why in the world would I want that same brand of polish! They already got money and I can't get my time or money back! The name DOES NOT MATCH THE EXPERIENCE AT ALL ! read more

I live 20 mins away and there are so many nail shops around me that I have tried. This place is worth the drive for my pedicure. I always see Hannah she is very sweet and kind and so thorough because my feet can be a mess. I get ingrown nails and my feet get rough within a few weeks so when I saw Hannah she took care of all of that. The previous shop I would go to got kind of lax on not working on those areas. The shop is always busy so make sure you call for an appointment. I can only speak on their pedicures because I don't get my nails done at all. read more

Bad customer service, horrible attitude did not finish the job and still charge me $50 left with no paint on my nails Grand total of spending was $80 and they was talking about me like a dog The whole time I was there a young black lady came in with her daughter and they start talking about them and had a attitude that they had to do her daughters pedicure. Definitely think there are races and will not be going back read more

Mark is THE MAN. He is very calm and humble. After viewing his work on Yelp, I had to schedule an appointment with him. I am extremely picky with my nails since my mom used to own a nail shop so I have my preferences.. and I completely trust Mark. Have been to him twice so far and very happy both times. We all know we have those moments while we're watching a person do our nails like "I hope he/she sees that part on the side..." or "I hope they fix the misshape on this nail" or whatever! And every time I had these hidden feelings watching, he notices the imperfections himself and fixes it without me having to say anything! Mark pays attention to detail and I fully appreciate that. The staff here try really hard to keep appointment times organized and on time. Before they knew I was Vietnamese, I heard them trying to be on time but thorough on their work. And that's how I know they're genuine. I definitely recommend this place! read more

went in for a pedicure and a soak off. the massage part of the pedicure was nice but the pedicure itself was just not good. the color was uneven and i had to ask her twice to file my toes square and still both of my big toe nails are crooked and round. As for my soak off. Just no. They filed my natural nail plate using the drill and created lots of ridges all over. Absolutely ruined my natural nails :-( read more

Nails on fleek!!! Like nah, literally! I love this salon. This was a must for the V. Hella salons and hardly any skilled nail techs. Luxury on the other hand.. the name speaks for itself. I am sooo happy for Mark!! I love how he ventured away from Signature nails and made a boss move by opening his own shop!! (Signature totally screwed up my nails and of course Luxury saved the day!) The shop is very sanitary and the decor - very trendy/hip! The chandeliers are a great feature! #Queenvibes for sure. There are so many colors, designs, glitter, bling, sparkle to choose from!! 5 stars. They are very detail oriented, hygienic, good customer service and they have a lot of options if you like to switch up your nails like I do. I came in for a pedicure, manicure and facial waxing. I had my pedicure first. The salon itself is newly opened, so I was in a very comfortable new massage chair. They had the tubs for your feet lined with plastic and had the water set at the perfect temperature. I liked how they had different pedicure package options, from your basic pedicure to more in-depth ones based on what you want. I got a $30 pedicure that included a a scrub and mask for drier feet. I like the outcome of my nails but I'm only giving them 3 stars because they gave my 1pm appointment away. And yes I was 10 min early. Even though I only had to wait 30 min it set me back on my schedule. You call in for an appointment so you don't have to wait right? And I had a very tight schedule that's why I also called in for an appt. Also while I was waiting another lady came in at 1:20pm and I overheard her say that she was late for her 1pm appt with Mark. And I get it people can overbook, it happens. But if you're in a tight schedule, like i said, it gets annoying. Mark took his time even with his busy schedule, which I appreciated. A few air bubbles on my pointer finger. But shape and color came out how I wanted it. I definitely plan on coming back because it's hard to find a nail technician who actually knows how to do acrylics. I just hope they don't give my appointment away again. *update* came back for a second time and the results were better. I was happy with the deluxe pedicure and they lady did a great job painting the nails. She also took her time in cleaning them. As for the ombre acrylics... she did mess up and forgot to spray paint two fingers but mark came back and fixed them. The only problem was it was 2-3 coats thicker than it was suppose to be. Made an appointment for nails and a pedicure and because they were busy and I've come there a few times before, they put me in a spa chair to get my pedicure and wait so they could work on other people. When I was done I had to wait (30 minuets) until someone freed up to do my nails... I HAD AN APPOINTMENT! A nail tech should be waiting for me to be done not the other way around...
