It's so nice to have the freedom to leave the house guilt-free, because I trust WPPC to take care of my babies for me. The price is also a great value for the high quality service. They were very trustworthy and reliable. We felt very comfortable with both giving spare keys to our house and alarm codes. They cleaned up any pet messes that occurred while we were gone (hairballs, etc) and made sure my diabetic cat got her shot twice a day. This is a great alternative to boarding. The animals no longer have the stress of being locked in small cages in boarding. They seemed very happy and well taken care of each time we returned from vacation. This is a wonderful service.

5 Stars for LIFE-CHANGING pet training services that are worth every penny…read more I had heard about Pawsitively Calm from a friend after I commented on his dogs' fantastic behavior, demeanor, and obedience. I was in the process of adopting a yorkie puppy and knew I wanted to invest in early training to avoid a yappy, aggressive tiny terror (which is common with this adorable breed). I reached out via their Instagram (as a DM) and was sent a link to their website and application form. Their Instagram and YouTube is absolutely worthwhile to get familiar with their training methods and philosophy (a calm dog is the goal!). PAWSitively Calm provides 4 types of dog training experiences. We opted for the 3-week off-leash training program. It's fully immersive and you drop your pup off to stay with them for those 3 weeks. Though you can't visit during that time, one big selling point for me is that Heather and her partner, Corryn (I know I'm spelling that wrong!) post updates to their IG stories (and save them under a highlight on their IG with your dog's name). The updates are regular enough that I literally watched my puppy's progress day by day! I also saw the loving nature of Heather and Corryn with my puppy when she would learn something new. It made me feel so much more comfortable that she was being cared for and supported through her boot camp (lol). Pick-up day was great- we were prepped that it would be about 2 hours and involve training US as to how to carry on with the pup's routine and training. It was night and day from when we dropped our little puppy off. She was so calm and happy. Not anxious or scattered. Since bringing her home we've kept up with the training and it's been so empowering for me to flex my own confident, but loving authority. Finally, they offer boarding and training top-ups for any pups who have been trained in their program. This is going to be such a great option for us when we travel, knowing they'll keep her comfortable with her commands and won't spoil her training. It's not cheap, nor should it be. I would do this same training with any future dogs I adopt. HUGE fan.

She was incredibly fearful and easily overwhelmed -- any noise, human or other animal would cause her to freeze completely. Once she shut down, nothing we said or did could reach her. Since completing the program, she is like a new dog. She walks with confidence, responds consistently to commands, and no longer lets fear control her. The change goes far beyond obedience -- she has gained real confidence and the ability to handle situations that once paralyzed her.
