They don't seem to be screening their new dog sitters well and many of my clients had been making pretty scary complaints about a few of the sitters (and about one in particular - Debbie), which the company somehow still hasn't fired. Many of my clients left the company due to these bad experiences. Here is why. 1. She loves animals. She has her own pets who are more than well-cared for and she will treat your pet like one of her own. 2. She understands dog behavior. She uses cruelty-free methods of correcting your pet and offers lots of praise when they do something right. She understands that dogs are dogs and let's them do their thing. I go to her first when I have questions about my pup because she is so knowledgeable. 3. She goes the extra mile. If you live downtown she will come and get your pet. If your dog is sick she will take him to the vet. She will check your stove for you when she comes to get ur dog, it's like having a friend you know you can count on. 4. She is completely transparent in her business practices. You can actually come and see where the animals rest, where they play, what toys they use ect. I have been to many doggy daycare centers where they won't let you back to see these areas... um... sketchy? Her space is COMPLETELY puppy-proofed and she watches the pets closely. 5. She is incredibly flexible with special diets, medications, changing feeding schedules, ect. As a rule of thumb she only feeds healthy whole nutrient snacks like carrots and green beans, but if you want your dog to have something special she will follow it.
