This place was incredible! So relaxing, so chill, and SUCH GOOD TEA!! I got the iced vanilla chai with honey and just sat back on a very comfy couch while I read a book. What a lovely space!! I was instantly taken in by the layout and art of the space. The staff greeted me upon entry and offered a sample of the tea of the day. Cran-Apple hibiscus was the featured choice of the day & a refreshing treat. For my beverage, I chose the Rhubarb lemonade, the tart and not-too-sweet love of it all! It only came in one size. The pricing was reasonable for the selections. The staff informed me that they had 100+ teas to choose from with the scan of a QR code. Recently met my mom in Fayetteville, NC. We went downtown and ran into a tea store. I love teas. However, they also had tea cocktails which intrigued me. Today, I tried a Blueberry Green Tea. I'm not big on sugar in my tea and the workers were quick to offer another option besides cane sugar, honey or stevia. They offered a puree and I got a blueberry puree which I loved. Long overdue review, but I need to share how much I loved this place when I visited! I'm a coffee girl through and through, but Winterbloom was bustling in this relatively quiet town, so we decided to pop in! The interior was cozy and filled with plenty of spaces to work, meet with friends, or even read a book. I loved the art filled walls and plants scattered throughout the space. I was greeted by a sweet employee who suggested I try the flavor of the flavor of the day, which is exactly what I did! The tea was a green tea base with pineapple and apple flavors to compliment. It was SO refreshing and made think wow, am I actually a tea person? I learned they also serve cocktails, which would make Winterbloom a really fun evening spot to hang with friends for a unique cocktail. On our way out, the owner gave me a taro smoothie on the house :') I've never had a taro smoothie, but this was incredibleeee. It had a sweet and nutty flavor that was so dang good! Their superb customer service, delectably crafted drinks, and excellent knowledge of the health benefits of every single tea served at their business did not disappoint. I loved how they provided samples, and made recommendations based on your personal palate. My current favorites are the watermelon mint lemonade, and the envy. So The tea I tried here in this cafe for the first time is a Cosmo tea that comes with butterfly flowers, lemongrass, chamomile and Lavender. I'm impress by it's violet color texture and the savory of it has sweet after taste like a lychee you taste from a boba tea. The best timing to go here is in the midday and afternoon. Loved Winterbloom. I'm an avid tea lover and have been for the longest time after my husband bought me a kettle five years ago. Traditionally I order all my loose leaf teas online but now that I know Winterbloom is here and local they will get all of my business. Popped in to this hidden gem on a rainy Monday afternoon and was pleasantly greeted by two peppy ladies. This review is based solely on my customer service experience, as I didn't get to actually try anything. My sister and I visited today, excited to try some of their cocktails. She decided to grab a table, while I stood in line to order. The only available table was dirty, so she asked one of the two employees behind the counter if it could be wiped down. She was given a bone dry yellow microfiber cloth to clean it herself. She returned to the counter ask if the cloth could be moistened and she was told, "We're really busy. I can't get to it right now." She continued to wait for water and I continued to wait in line. She was then told that she could go to the bathroom and wet the cloth if she wanted. At that point, we decided to leave. I'm not interested in sipping carefully crafted cocktails at a visibly dirty table, and I find it particularly unsettling that the tables are not being disinfected in between customers, especially during a pandemic. Also, I understand being busy, but all someone had to say was, "I'll be right with you once I finish helping these customers. Thank you for waiting." Lack of cleanliness aside, the terrible customer service was off-putting, and I can't spend my money in a place doesn't seem to want my business. read more
