We really enjoyed our time at tea room. We had a comfy table for three people. Ashley was amazing, explaining to us how everything worked and helping us pick our teas. We had one black tea and one orange. Both were delicious. We opted for the 3 tier tea service with both sweet and savory items. Everything tasted great, especially the chicken salad on croissant. The lemon curd on scone was also delicious as was the mini quiche. I was actually full by the third tier so I brought mine home. The atmosphere is peaceful and the room is decorated beautifully. In terms of ambiance, this place is absolutely cozy and warm. The team even takes some time to refresh the decor seasonally. This tea speak easy is tucked away in Little Native Coffee behind a book case. If you knock, the tea hostess will let you in and show you to your table. You are required to make reservations in advance, but don't get discouraged you'll be able to find slots if you're patient even for prime weekend afternoon slots. I had the best time with my spouse at the Littlest Tea Room, found inside Little Native coffee. There are several parking lots around and also street parking. I was able to find parking on the street. We did the full little tea and it was MORE than enough food and a lovely experience. I had the witching hour tea which was very cinnamon forward and delicious. My spouse had a green tea that was very tasty, and a bit more mild. The tea comes with sugar cubes and milk. The food was fantastic. Our sitting included (for each person) mini charcuterie, two huge scones, grapes, dried fruit, three dips/spreads, mini quiche, two macarons, a cake ball, cheesecake and lemon bar, and something else! We had to take the food home bc it was too much, and we came hungry! Oh and champagne! The owner Ashley is so kind and we had a chance to chat with her for a while. I loved learning about their business and the evolution of the coffee shop and tea room. I plan to return with my team for a team event this fall! read more

I've been a tea connoisseur for many years now and dressing up for an elegant tea party is something I've enjoyed since a child. Why not connect with my inner child while celebrating a milestone ? The Littlest Tea Room is a quaint tea room located at the back of Little Native Coffee shop on N. Person. It's located in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Raleigh. Parking was effortless just out front the coffee shop. I appreciated our hostess Hayley contacting me prior to our reservation to inform us that a children's party was wrapping up and she would need a few minutes to prep before we arrived. Upon arrival the baristas were very welcoming. Hayley provided top tier service throughout our tea time. The tea room or "Speakteasy" is tucked away behind a hidden wall at the back of the coffee shop. You are instantly transformed into a whimsical victorian meets southern charm tea room. I fell in love with all of details here. So magical! I was so captivated by all of the details in the decor for this little space. They even supply adorable headbands for you if you forget to dress for the occasion. The best surprise was finding out we had the tea room to ourselves for our Golden Hour. The privacy was a luxury ! We perused the menu and decided on The 60 Minute Golden Hour and started with a pot of the Witching Hour which is similar to the alcohol "fireball". Notes of spicy cinnamon. This was my favorite. Very strong and did not require sugar. Our tea tray was beautifully prepared. We enjoyed lemon macarons, chicken salad, pimento cheese spread, croissants, Madeleines, chocolates and dark chocolate chip cookies. My favorite being the lemon macarons, lemon clotted cream spread with Madelines and pimento cheese. We also had a pot of the Duskhaven tea which is more fruit based. It was very light and a beautiful pink shade to pour. My friend and I enjoyed catching up, taking photos as we came dressed in character. It's easy to lose track of time when you're whisked away into Tea wonderland. This is a must do while visiting the area. This is where you get 90 minutes to enjoy a glass of bubbly to toast the moment, a pot of tea and pastries served with cream and seasonal accompaniments. I chose the amber grove for my tea and really enjoyed it. We also both really liked all of the pastries. This tea room is a must visit and a reservation is required. read more

I believe I've left a review before to say how wonderful this experience was. My wife and I showed up but just before 11 and enjoyed entering the ambience of the littlest tea room. We really enjoyed the three options of tea cakes and the two teas we selected. Our hostess was a delight to talk with, and I look forward to when we can return. This place is so much fun! We went on a weekday to celebrate a special birthday of one of our group. We were provided with fancy fascinators and victorian gloves to make the event even more festive. We enjoyed several pots of the tea blends created by the shop. A nice touch was "deconstructed sandwiches", where we were served chicken salad, pimento cheese, and tzatziki sauce to fashion our own tidbits with flaky croissants, savory crackers, and little spinach tarts. Our second tray level included several different kinds of scones, including an asiago scone. The dessert level included macarons, madeleines, tiny lemon bars, chocolate cheesecake bits, and macarons. Highly recommend the Floral Mirage Tea as it was sweet, fragrant and just delicious. The pastries and little snacks were store bought and not great quality. Ambience is Very "Tiny Alley", London. It has quaint tea room feel. It's not gourmet but it is very good and it's authentic in style and presentation. If you ask them ahead of time, they will accommodate folks with dairy or gluten sensitive issues. My friend and I felt very special and like we were hiding a well kept secret . The Littlest Tea Room is an absolute gem!! My mom and I took my almost 5 year old daughter for tea on a Friday afternoon, and we had a wonderful experience! The server, Carter, was very friendly and accommodating. I needed gluten free options, and was given scones, tea cookies, madeleines, crackers and spreads, and they were all delicious.
