I got my little black lab from Leah. She's missing part of her ear which was a little concerning, considering they didn't know what happened either. Regardless of her lucky fin, I've never been more blessed to have such a well behaved, loving pup. She's constantly complimented on her stellar, calm behavior. Absolutely loves everybody and has become the face of the gun club I'm a part of. Couldn't be more thankful!

Cinnamon the Morkie on her 6th birthday!

6 years ago, I purchased a Maltese/Yorkie mix puppy from the WinterHill Kennel. The price was fantastic - cheapest in Massachusetts for a Morkie at the time. I was also able to meet the mom (a Maltese) and dad (a Yorkie) upon request. We named her Cinnamon and she is the healthiest dog - the vet says she has a "strong heart" and is doing so well. We couldn't be happier with our Morkie dog who is enjoying a long, happy life.

    Kadie with Daddy

Our girl Kadie the Golden is nearly two years old and the love of our lives. She is sweet, eager to please and happy. Leah and her team have been the most professional, open and honest breeders we've had the pleasure to know. We know three other families that have their Labs or Goldens from Winterhill and all of them have become the most beloved companions for their families. We highly recommend getting the next addition to your family, from Leah at Winterhill.

Have two beautiful labs from Winterhill. One is 7 and the other 5 months. The temperaments on these dogs are amazing. They are smart, sweet and kind. The owners are wonderful and stand by their animals. Recommended them many times now :)

Leah does a remarkable job raising/feeding/caring for these puppies and their well being is her utmost concern.

Mixed review--- My kitten suddenly went limp while playing with my family and I rushed him here…read morebecause they're 5 mins away. Kitten was a healthy normal kitten that had seen my regular vet etc. They X-ray'd his chest to find fluid around his heart, the there vet said he most likely had a congenital heart defect that caused this, it's something that happens. Positive note -- they did not charge me for the X-rays being that they did it for teaching purposes, nor did they charge me for the items used to try to resuscitate him. (He was a DOA sadly) so I only paid the Exam Fee and Cremation Fee. The staff members I met were all lovely, helpful, and kind throughout this whole process and I still think kindly of them thinking about this whole experience. Negative/Confusing part- A week later I get a phone call saying I have been reported to the MSPCA officer saying he needs to come to the house to examine the other pets because there were "injuries seen upon further examination that seem to be from foul play or possible strangulation" Here I am devastated and grieving my baby... now add confused, and just taken aback. I understand that they are mandatory reporters in any sort of suspicious circumstances but I'm still confused at why they wouldn't tell me beforehand that they sensed foul play? I'm glad the whole situation is over with and I have my cremated baby back but it all just rubbed me the wrong way.... (My dog is healthy and happy btw, MSPCA officer came out to see him and talk about the situation.)

I recently had to put my dog down for medical issues. The staff were horrible and treated me like I was at an interrogation! It is the owners decision and it broke my heart but what I felt was best for my dog. The staff treated me terribly! Don't they teach compassion in school for this very daunting task of euthanasia?? I would not recommend this practice at all! Go somewhere else! I hope the vet (who is very young) sees this and that her treatment of me follows her to the end of her career! I will never get over the added trauma she and her staff have caused me. I still have nightmares!

My wife and I dropped our dogs off for a weekend of boarding and grooming. We left instructions for…read morethe groomer to groom our boy and do a practice grooming of our girl. We were also told that the grooming would be recorded so that we could watch the session if anything weird happens. When we picked up our dogs, it became clear that the boy's grooming was incomplete. He had little knots on his head and a large knot on his tail, as well as a new bald spot on his chest. When we spoke to the groomer about it, she said that he was difficult and wouldn't sit still so that she couldn't complete it, and she said that the bald spot was a cowlick. This didn't *seem* right, because he gets groomed 4 times a year and in the previous place they never had any issues with him at all, and we pet his chest all the time and would've noticed a bald cowlick spot before. She was also not told that the girl was supposed to get a pretend grooming session at all, so that never happened. Since the boy has never been an issue before, we wanted to see the video that we were told we could see if we requested it (we wanted to know what might've set him off), but then we were told that we couldn't because the video system has been down for weeks. The manager I spoke with didn't care and just told me that the groomers rent out the rooms so they aren't responsible for what they do. We contacted the owner but she hasn't responded and instead blocked us on the company Facebook page. Best case, this place has terrible communication amongst the staff and the groomer, poor customer service, and a broken video system. I wouldn't trust my dogs there.

They also guided us on behaviors to implement at home to create a more balanced life for each of them. Most importantly, these techniques helped the dogs become comfortable and confident in our home when we welcomed a baby. I cannot say enough great things about Canine Behavioral Services, they have created such positive change in my two dogs and allowed for them to grow and flourish in our home!
