Now if you compare this store to the location in Utica you might be a little disappointed as It's not as flashy, nor is it as well kept. The good news is that there are plenty of great furniture and décor to choose from, and often-ample deals you'll spot while browsing. Since Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are all right around the corner, they've already put out a ton of decorations and items all around the store. Of course, they have their usual furniture, wall décor, rugs, kitchen supplies, bedding, etc... As most home décor, stores have. This go around I picked up a few fake plant pieces, a few towels, a new shower curtain, and a few candles. I think if you can really dedicate some time and you can really find some good stuff, but the store itself is really somewhat cluttered. They seem to be a little understaffed, but the employees have always been kind to me so I don't have any tragic customer service stories. I'll stop by again soon to see what I can find, but someone needs to really get in here and do some cleaning/organizing.

Over time, the original pearl wore down, so I had it replaced by a jeweler near my home in California in February 2024. Unfortunately, during the process, they removed the beautiful dark patina shading around the pearl. Before heading back to Michigan for the holidays, I contacted Stefani & Co. (connected to Hex Detroit but I couldn't find the yelp page) to see if they could restore the patina. Cary responded right away, and when I brought the ring in, his son Jesse--who originally designed it--worked his magic. He not only restored the shading but made the ring look even better than before! They even did the restoration as a complimentary service, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. They were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process. I'll definitely return to them for anything else I need for my ring--it's worth the trip!
