I don't have the patience to take the item to this person and wait in line until it is my turn to learn the price. I find this practice offensive and unprofessional. Unfortunately, during the process, they removed the beautiful dark patina shading around the pearl. Before heading back to Michigan for the holidays, I contacted Stefani & Co. (connected to Hex Detroit but I couldn't find the yelp page) to see if they could restore the patina. Cary responded right away, and when I brought the ring in, his son Jesse--who originally designed it--worked his magic. He not only restored the shading but made the ring look even better than before! They even did the restoration as a complimentary service, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. They were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process. I'll definitely return to them for anything else I need for my ring--it's worth the trip!
