Pedro must have been lightning quick because my iPhone 5s battery replacement was ready in under half an hour. They showed me the original battery and had my phone all ready to go when I arrived after running a quick errand. I went to pick it up and the phone was disables due to too many attempts to unlock it....WHY were they--2 middle age MEN-- trying to unlock my 16 y/o daughters phone??? It was disabled for 48 minutes so they attempted to unlock it NUMEROUS times....then when it finally reset, she found out the home button was broken. I purchased a groupon for $85 for Iphone plus screen repair. I went to this store. First of all, smelled totally like pot. First red flag. Then a man comes our from behind a closed door on the phone. He continues to talk on the phone for at least 5 minutes. When his conversation is done I tell him why I am there. I purchased a groupon for screen repair. How long will that take? He said 1 hour, but he will not honor the groupon. I asked why and was told they sold a lot of them and he does not want any more. I asked if he was serious and he said yes. I got my iPhone 6 screen fixed here. It took 1 hour for $90 + tax. My phone had visible bubbles in the screen. They told me "that is why it's 90 dollars". They were not willing to resolve the quality issues with the phone. Also, the front camera is not 100% now there a layer of plastic. The front camera looks like a granulated, cheap webcam now. Just get what you paid for... I went here because it was advertised on CL to replace my iPhone 5s screen for 120. Get to the store and the list price for the screen replacement is actually 150. He did honor the price which I thought was cool. Upside - cheap and fast Downside - was told OEM part, but clearly gave me a cheap knock off screen. When on a call, my phone pushes buttons. Sometimes it senses my finger when not pushing anything... And sometimes when trying to push buttons nothing happens. And it gets super hot!! I was a little hesitant when he had another guy that was sitting on the couch in front take my phone in the back room and perform the work and he didn't look like he worked there. A little disconcerning when someone has access to your personal info on the phone. Glad to have my phone working today, but will be ordering another screen and replacing myself. There is plenty of YouTube video instruction -- and now I got time to order it. I had Wire 4 less to install a new screen I pay for it but a screen they recommended and they order. This happened today 3/20/19. I left my phone with the business owner of Wire 4 less then I went to buy some lunch. After the screen was installed I came and the new screen of my cell was too dark and the back ground seems very dark or blue. I of course was not happy, also my cellphone had on the sides a lot of scathes. The Business owner said those scratches were existing and he did not do any of those. This is of Course a big lie since my phone is less that a year old and has never being open on the back or on the front. I spent some time looking at my cellphone and touching the screen to make sure everting was working properly. I think he told me the total cost but I just kept looking at my cellphone because I was unhappy. He then said to return the phone and he will remove the new screen I purchase and pay for it and he will install the old broken screen. He told me he will keep the new screen in exchange for his labor. I said "The new Screen is mine and you did a bad job". While we were waiting outside for police to arrive one person that works in there(not sure if he is also the owner but he does work there) opened the door and look at me and my two girls and said motherfuckers then close the door. First, all of the employees were very nice to me and tried to be helpful. So this isn't about them. However, the LCD on my iPad was broken. They ordered one and a couple of weeks later it was fixed. I took it home and the screen had streaks through it. I brought it back and they said they must have gotten a bad display and ordered another. A week later it was fixed again. It was working, however, the home button was off center and the glass screen was lifted up. After a few days pushing the off center home button broke the LCD again. They ordered another and put it in. I was told I need to get a case that covers over the edge of the screen because they couldn't get the glass to sit all the way down, so not really back to normal. By this point I didn't care. I bought a big bulky ipad protector and the ipad was working fine. 2 weeks later my 3 year old drops it in our kitchen and the screen cracks. I understand dropping an ipad isn't ideal. However I had a very protective case. Also, the ipad had been dropped so many other times with the factory screen without it cracking. Bottom line is I think the parts they get are very cheap quality. Also the ipad was never even close to normal again after fixing. I definitely wasted $170, should have just put that money towards a new ipad. read more

I went in on the weekend and needed a screen replaced on my Note 8 the glass wasn't broken it was the strain underneath just causing problems with my phone they told me I needed to replace everything the screen the glass in the frame that they could only get it as a cat told me it would be in by Wednesday or Thursday didn't hear from them I called said they had received it that it would be Friday or Saturday so I work second shift they called me right as I was going into work so I told them that I could be there tomorrow morning at 10 and the guy said okay I show up at 10 they don't show up till 10:10 and it's only the girl at the counter nobody to do any of the work she says they'll be there at 11 so I come back at 11 they're still not there said they'll be there at 11:30 come back at 11:30 nobody shows up to 11:50 then the guy tells me it'll take an hour when the first guy told me it was 25 minutes I'm on crutches so it's hard for me to get in and out of the vehicle so I have my daughter go back and get the phone they gave her the phone they didn't put the stylus back in so we had to make another trip back there again I had an ad pop up on my phone from Samsung. Samsung would have just replaced the the screen for $175 that they were charging me $370.79 for a glass screen and frame replacement I didn't do too much checking around I've had 3 phones fixed there before they weren't quick but they did a good job I will never use these people again. read more

Got IPhone X screen replaced and Face ID wouldn't work after. The color of the screen was also not good quality. Looked like it was a knock off iPhone. They put a diff screen on and the color was better, but still not as good as it should be for the price. Face ID still did not work. It's only been about a week and a half and my phone fell literally 3 feet onto my linoleum floor in my kitchen and my screen went green and flashy and looked like the matrix. I went here about a year ago and had a bad experience. My iPad cracked screen so I bought a do-it-yourself kit from amazon, and proceeded to try and fix it myself. I pretty much had everything done (it's not as easy as it looks on YouTube) except it wouldnt power up after everything was reinstalled. So that's when I looked for a repair shop and called these guys hoping to get a little help, assuming it would be cheap since all the work was already done, so I take it in they say yea they can get it powered up, they take it in the back about no more than 10 minutes they say it's done. I ask the price and they say $80. I really couldn't believe it $80, and he says yes for my time. So I have to go get more money because I really didn't think it would cost that much, then when I get back it's a different guy and I give him the money to get the iPad back and I asked him what was it that they did and he says the secret is you have to remove and reinstall the battery and it will power backup. So I basically just paid them $80 to take the battery out and put it back in. I really think they should have just charged me $20 at the most 40 not the whole 80 which way which I think would have been fair if they did all the work. Out of all the you tube videos I watched only guy said to remove the battery, and I didn't see that one till I got home after out the $80. So total I paid 120 about the going rate for a screen replacement, I pretty much did all the work myself. Don't go here these guys overcharge!!! read more

I was slightly hesitant at first due to mixed reviews I found online, but had no problems at all. I took my Galaxy S4 with broken glass and bent frame. The guy said it'd be $90 to replace both parts which was the expected price. I pulled and kept my SIM and SD cards, left for 30 minutes and when I came back it was ready to go. Everything looks and works like new. No more sliced finger while swiping on my phone. Great store and I will use them again for the inevitable repairs I'll need down the road after a few more drops. read more

Please do not bring your phone here. The guys are nice but the quality of the work done is poor. I brought my iPhone 6plus here to have the screen fixed and after they took my phone apart they told me that the new screen they were going to use had a broken piece, so they could not fix my phone and I would have to leave it over night until they got a new screen for it. So frustrating but at that point I didn't have any other choice. My phone worked fine for about 3 weeks, then the keyboard started to malfunction. If I left my phone unlocked apps would open on their own, it also FaceTimed someone on its own. The apps that were closer to the home button would work intermittently, which is very inconvenient when you need to make a phone call or send a text. Taking your phone here is a quick fix but I would not recommend it. The service does come with a 30 day warranty so when I called them and explained the problem they said to bring it back so they could fix it, free of charge. But given the fact that they didn't get it right the first time, I decided it would be better to get a new phone than to take the risk of them damaging my phone even more. Consumer beware, do not bring your phone here! read more

I was in this shop very recently for repairing a comet U8150 with a broken screen and customer service was very very poor. Here are the facts: When I arrived, 2 sales associates were at the counter, 1 dealing with a customer and the other one watching him deal with the customer, yes watching him No acknowledgement of my presence , not a single word to me despite an eye contact. After being patient for about 5 minutes, I asked to be served and was told that it would take 1 hour to the technicien to open my phone and make a diagnosis a and that I would pay $20 just for the technician to open the cellphone. When I complained it was ridiculous antechnicien would spend 1 hour to just open a normal small cellphone, he then replied :"your cellphone is too old, the technician cannot repair it"......that same technicien who wanted to charge $20 just to open it! We thought it was us. The first time. Stupidly, we went back. Say buh-bye Felicia... to $600 worth of technology. Last year, we bought a phone. We traded our old one and then put down an extra $250 for a brand new, unlocked Windows phone. It should have been huge red flags in store that there was no receipt given. Bringing the phone home, we could not get it out of demo mode. We called the shop, he said it was my error. I called the manufacturer and they sad the phone had been reported stolen. I was pissed, but figured it was just a one time thing. I bought a different phone elsewhere. Fast forward to last week my current phone is having antenna issues. I know its antenna issues because we all have the same carrier but mine is the only one with no bars, dropped calls and no other issues. My phone is in perfect condition, or was. I took it to wire4less on Everett Mall Way and he agreed. It is an antenna problem, but for $20 he could fix it. Come back in 10 minutes. When we came back, he said: Your power button is broken. My phone is perfect. I said no and was confused but went home. It didn't make sense until I went to turn on my "fixed phone". Nothing. It took me HOURS to turn it on once. Upon inspecting the phone, the power button is chipped like something was jammed in there and the inside of the phone where the battery sits is all scratched and bent like that's where he pried it open. Upon confronting him, he claims he was never anywhere near the button, and it was broken before we took it in. He wanted to charge me for the button and the labor- for the phone he broke in the first place. read more

this shop doesn't know phone repair. they fixed my LCD and had a shattered screen. but the real problem was internal issues with the logic board. I didn't know better at the time and they told me the housing on my phone could be the issue. I left my phone with them for 24 hours because I was told they didn't want to charge me for replacing the housing if it didn't fix it. 5 minutes after I pick up my phone and head to work it stops working. When I go to get a refund for the 150$ dollars I spent to get the housing fixed I was told they spent 3 hours working on my phone and probably wouldn't get a refund. That was when I blew up... I was 270$ in repair costs at this point and didn't care if this guy was the owner or not. At one point I almost thought it might break into a fist fight because we were in each others faces, and let me tell you these guys are regular gym guys. I didn't back down and got my money back for the 150$ housing replacement, probably because they are doing so much business under the table and avoiding taxes they are scared of a real audit. I was threatening anything I could think of to get it back, as far as sitting outside their store every Saturday and telling every customer they had what hacks they are. DO NOT GO HERE.
