When i called, I was told that they "lost" the dryer in their warehouse. i called on June 14 and they said they had found the dryer and were delivering that afternoon. Called at 3pm to confirm and told the delivery was coming and all was well. At 5pm, I called back and they said they made an error and had no dryer. Stood up twice on delivery and was offered nothing for their errors but another future possible delivery date. I credited my purchase and moved on. I had purchased electronics here in the past and had great experiences but the place is in utter chaos now. I try to support local business and avoid the big box stores, but CArlisle Electronics made it impossible. Run, don't walk, away.

After my experience with them I can understand why. They were responsive, listened to my requests and met me above and beyond what was expected. Their delivery personnel were respectful of my space, had to remove a door in order to get into my basement and did it all with a smile and pleasant conversation. I will never buy another appliance elsewhere. My experience with them underscored for me why buying from a small locally owned business is the way to go. I just used my new washer and I LOVE IT. Our 27 year old Kenmore over the range microwave in Bisque,died about a week ago, and my repair guy…read moresaid "you'll never find Bisque, but try Smith's - they may have something, maybe a scratch and dent, and we cant fix it, the parts are no longer available". One of the big box stores' websites claimed they had bisque (but not locally) and could deliver in a few months. So we debated a bit about black, white, or stainless. When we needed repairs on two of our other (similarly old) appliances the repairman said the parts were no longer available. I had seen Smith's near the fairgrounds and knew roughly where it was, so I called, got good directions via phone, and was greeted promptly by the owner. When I said I needed an over the stove microwave - in bisque - instead of "sorry" he said he tries to keep bisque in stock and had one in the back room right now, new in box! Would next week be ok? Yes please! His deliver - install - haul away price was far better than the chain store prices AND he had it in stock! The installers arrived on time, removed the old one, checked the new one, and determined that the opening in the cabinetry was too deep ; the new one would go in but the doors wouldn't open. Oops! They called someone to handle the necessary carpentry, which was done efficiently for a perfect fit. No muss, no fuss. The new microwave fits AND works perfectly, and matches our other bisque appliances. Nobody is predicting another 27 years, but that's ok - I'm sure our other appliances will fail sooner or later and we know where to go!

Initially thinking I had to get a new phone I was going that route. Having seconds thoughts I called one cell phone repair place and they wouldn't be able to fit me in for days. I called this place having driven by it so many times. (Questioning the location) and so glad I did. 45 minutes later phone as good as new. Responsive. Cheaper than other locations. And nice. Yes that's right even nice!!! Wow. Also gave me a military discount though that isn't something they automatically have. Highly recommend. Would definitely go back. (Careful of the turn into the driveway)
